Interesting to see a disappointing review from someone else with a similar complaint (by Jill J.). I, too, have been a client of Dr. Stratte for many years and have been very satisfied with their service until 2 occasions recently.
1st) I received Botox for my first time (by the nurse) and was told to come in for a follow-up in 2 weeks so she could assess how I reacted to the treatment. Following instructions, and wanting to see the nurse to address my concerns (my right eyelid was quite droopier than the other), I tried to schedule an appointment. However, instead of getting in for a visit, Dr. Stratte was notified and I was called back to let me know this was normal. Although I appreciated the call back, it was disappointing that the nurse didn't get to see my reaction to the Botox first hand so she would know how to better administer the substance next time for better results. Also, I had a few more units remaining on my account that I was saving to rectify any adverse reactions that may have come up from my first treatment. However, when I did return to Dr. Statte for a different treatment and inquired about my remaining Botox on account, I was told I didn't have any.
2nd) The most recent incident was when I went in for a chemical peel and cautery treatment. There was a specific area on my right cheek that I was particularly concerned about which I pointed out to be addressed. After leaving the appointment, I checked in the mirror and noticed that these spots were not treated. I called Renew and spoke to Susie. She asked Dr. Stratte about my concern and she left me a message stating that the spots were in a different area, which is not true, all were on my face. I called back again to clarify, she inquired with Dr. Stratte, and I was then told that the areas treated were all that Dr. Stratte had time for. What?! Does this mean there is a maximum number of spots per treatment? Seriously? Dr. Stratte had only spent about 5 minutes on me, I was not offered to look in the mirror to see if there were areas missed, and was in disbelief that the area I was mainly concerned about (bothered me the most) were not treated! I was hoping to come back in to address these areas, but was told I could schedule another appointment and would be charged for it. Are you kidding me?!! They didn't do a complete job in the first place and if I wanted it fixed, then I would have to pay for it!!
I'd also like to add that the manner in which I was spoken was curt, disrespectful, and one-sided.
So disappointing, Dr. Stratte. I guess its time to do my research again to find a reputable dermatologist and take my business elsewhere. =( read more
