I decided to schedule an appointment with…read more"foot & ankle specialists" to have my toenails cut , calluses looked at and give me advice on other foot issues I have.. Not a good experience. Without ANY preparation whatsoever dr. Bauer brutally and quickly cut my nails and smoothed them, In the process hurting one of my toes. The whole appointment took less than 10 minutes. I asked him about my thickened toenails, he said chemical treatment might help, but he did not offer such. Regarding my calluses he said he will look at them in 3 months. That will not happen.The office ambiance and the doctor's attitude was "we get your insurance money" and do absolute minimum for that. I cannot imagine that any other podiatrist would handle this kind of visit in such abrupt manner. Do not recommend this office and this doctor.

Have you ever called a doctor's office to make an appointment because you dropped something on your…read morefoot, and you want to see if your foot is broken, or cracked or even sprained...and to have the receptionist talk to you in a condescending rude way? If you call here, you will want to jump through the phone, and wring the receptionist's neck. That sounds so extreme, but that's how I felt after getting off the phone with her, and then again having to deal with her when I checked in for my appointment. I didn't appreciate her eye rolls, and under her breath sighs. I was also surprised by her behavior, because she is an older women you would think she would be more professional. The intake nurse was so nice, and helpful. So very kind when taking x-rays of my foot and vitals. Then Dr Dickerson came in and took a look at my x-rays for just a few seconds and said your foot is just fine. I said "Why does it hurt then, it feels like it's broken, especially when I walk." He said he didn't know, but if it continues to hurt come back, and then that was it. I saw him for maybe for 3 or 4 minutes at the most. Weeks later I get a bill from my insurance company saying I owe another $25 for my co-pay. Why did the rude receptionist not charge the correct co-pay in the first place, obviously she isn't very good at her job.
