I've had many treatments with Brittany here. Yesterday I went in with acute pain, I was in tears…read more I had injured my hand/wirst. The pain had been excruciating for 2 days. It was intense, I couldn't sleep well because of the pain. And it was my right hand, so it was very hard no to use it! My wrist & hand were so swollen. It probably would've been labeled a carpal tunnel problem with PT recommended if I went to my primary care. Brittany knew exactly what to do- she couldn't work directly on the area because of the pain, so she worked in many other areas around my body (arm, ankle, leg, back of neck, shoulder, tricep) that would affect the painful area. She also did gua sha on my tricep & shoulder area. She knew the blocked area was more than just the hand. I couldn't believe it. I left pain free! She told me to go easy the rest of the day- which I did. I slept great last night- and today I have 0 pain! Thank you Brittany! You're a lifesaver!! No matter what issue I go to you for- you always take care of it. So thankful!!

I had been struggling with a chronic calf pull that I was not able to rehabilitate for many months…read moreusing rest, ice, stretching etc. Luckily while visiting Marblehead over Thanksgiving our host recommended Frank and he made time to see me the next day. He was able to deconstruct my standing and walking posture and the way I sat at my desk and figure out it was a case of sciatica, not a calf pull. The pressure I was putting on the sciatic nerve through the low back down to the calf due to incorrect posture was the root cause. No one had made these connections before and long story short, I am able to run five miles now without pain. In addition he's accessible by text if I have a question as I don't live in Marblehead. Frank thinks outside the box and really takes a wholisitic view of health and healing when working with his patients.

I went to New Harmony to get treatment for lower back pain caused by arthritis -- I'm in my late…read more60s and need to figure out how to deal with this for the rest of my life. I got a cycle of accupuncture treatments from Bryn Clark and am in the middle of a set of Shiatsu massage treatments from Amy Mills. Both specialists are spectacular and these treatments have really helped me -- not just in the moment, or for a day or two, but as a set of learning experiences that are genuinely helping me set a course for healthy living free of back pain. Bryn not only understands and practices accupuncture super-skillfully; he is an educator-therapist with tremendously practical advice, much of which I have incorporated into my daily routines. (Like: doing cat-cows and child-poses before I get out of bed in the morning, to get the systems and fluids running before I ask my back to do anything semi-important. Magic.) Amy conducts her sessions like a composer and orchestra conductor. They are like a wonderful piece of music, complete with opening "exchange" with me (the audience -- or am I in the orchestra?), then running through variations that involve some tissue massage, some joint bending, some stretching, some fluid movement. She returns, towards the end, to the opening theme and wraps it all up, often leaving me with the same kind of practical idea about some aspect of movement or exercising that stays with me -- as was the case with Bryn. It's a pretty powerful combination. I likely sound a bit woo-woo, especially in the paragraph above -- but I want to underscore the useful practicality of these sessions for me, along with their impact on my well-being in the moment. I've enjoyed them a lot, will keep going back, and recommend these folks wholeheartedly.
