Erasmus Hall High School has a very nice campus. There have teachers to teach you how to swim .and there very patient (there have lockers and the area is very clean and safe ). located in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. I love the family time pass it's open to the public it's non-instructor class, you get chance to spend time with your family and Freind's in the pool I'll definitely be recommended it's first come first served ( bring your own lock to protect your personal things in the locker room) !!!!. very convenient by MTA transportation: subway: 2,5-Train.Church Avenue Train station. or Q, B-Train.Church Avenue Train station. This makes getting an intensive workout in difficult when it comes to the pool, they need to enforce the rules. If people constantly have to pass you in a lane, you don't belong in a fast lane. Second issue is the gymnasium, you barely have time to play your favorite sport. They will dedicate hours of time to useless sports like tennis, soccer, pickleball? It's very inconvenient and not worth it. One thing I did like is the Sauna, the Sauna I had no problems with, it was never full and it does its job.

Thanks to Christina K. for signing up my membership . every time I'm off from work i come here to relax in the gym or the pool , just get away from my problems to relax my mind .in the indoor pool area there a life guard on premises and there place upstairs for parents or guest to watch and sit down when there swimming lessons in sessions !!!! P.S. There have lot of Kids activities , like summer camp and after school camp . There affiliated with the YMCA. i was doing some research i never knew YMCA started in London, U.K. (lol I'm reading this comment on someone review about the y , name : Mike H. , he mentions he rather leave his kids with Michael Jackson instead of this place or let his kids play on the highway , lol . Brooklynites mouth have no filter lol smfh , perfect example judge Judy she don't sugar code sh*t lol she a true brooklynite ) Very Convenient by the mta transportation: Bus: B44,B36,B3 Subway: (If you take the b44 bus to Northern Williamsburg direction you can transfer catch the 2,5-Trains at the Flatbush Avenue ,Train station to Manhattan and The Bronx ! , Or the B3 bus to Avenue U , Train station. Q-Train line . personally i believe the B44 bus is much faster than the B3 bus to transfer to the subway !!!!).

Especially for the pool. I find this to be one of the worst issues to me personally." Anyway the pool is nice and it is a nice size." It would be nice to see the City either put stairs dn into the pool or a mobile stairwell that can easily be added so that seniors and those with severe handicaps and arm injuries due to strokes or falls would not have to rely upon a lift that may malfunction at any given time or ladders that are OLD n VERY OUT-DATED." THE RUNGS ON THE LADDER R NARROW AND NOT WIDE ENOUGH TO REST YOUR FEET PROPERLY THERBY INSURING GOOD SUPPORT AS WELL AS BALANCE AND SAFETY." Every time they hv done renovations on the st johns center I always pray they hv given the pool steps some much needed attention. But sad to say Im always VERY disappointed. DB

Membership fee is very affordable and be paid annually or semi annually. Sign up is very easy. Staff is friendly. There are a full program of activities that you can find the schedule online. There are different classes and pool times for free swim. I am here mainly for the swim but I have taken yoga class here and enjoyed it. There is a workout room, cardio machines, a dance studio and a gym. There are also music classes. Many activities for children and adults. The locker room is okay; it's at the basic level of clean. No frills, just bring everything that you need. I do wish there were more lap swim hours but outside of that I do not have complaints on the facility.

Overall, I'd give this pool 3 out of 5 stars…read more The facility looks clean at first glance, and it's clear they take water treatment seriously with chlorine and UV filtration. However, the pool itself is very small, and there are simply too many people in the water at the same time. It feels overcrowded, making it hard to believe the experience can stay comfortable or hygienic when so many children and parents are sharing such a limited space. Another downside is the price. For such a small pool, the membership and classes feel quite expensive. I was also disappointed by the changing facilities. There are no regular private showers where you can comfortably rinse off or change after swimming. As far as I could tell, there was only one accessible/family shower, which isn't convenient for everyone. My biggest concern was the strong chlorine smell. Even as an adult, my nose became irritated, and my eyes were still stinging an hour after leaving the pool. Since many of the swimmers are babies and very young children, I wonder whether such a high level of chlorine is really comfortable for them. Overall, the instructors seemed friendly and the place appeared organized, but the combination of a very small pool, overcrowding, high price, limited shower facilities, and the strong chlorine made the experience disappointing for me.

We went backward in those 5-10 minutes daily (that is all that's left when you take 30min/4 kids who have to swim 1 at a time for safety) which was painful enough given the price and time to get there, get changed, shower up after etc. but she nearly drowned recently and doesn't even like swimming now. Really they need 1hr classes. All the other reviews are also accurate - rules you are told will change with each interaction. Make ups and scheduling are impossible (but I'm used to it in this neighborhood).

This location is a complete mess. Even after following their policy to schedule my last session 30…read moredays in advance, they somehow changed my class time from 12:00 to 11:30 without telling me. I showed up at my usual time for three sessions and was told every time that I had "missed" class. No apology, no accountability -- just excuses. I really tried to overlook the cramped space, the tiny pool, and the even tinier bathroom, but this experience was the last straw. The way they handled their mistake was unprofessional and dismissive. The only good thing about this location is Griffin -- a fantastic instructor who is patient, encouraging, and genuinely cares about his students. Unfortunately, one great instructor can't make up for how poorly this place is run.

Overall good 1st experience will report back soon.
