He played the right first dance and last song. He was a professional all night, dressed in a nice short and tie and even showed up 2 hours early to set up. He was also good at coordinating with our other vendors to make announcements and keep the night running smoothly. I will say I was extremely disappointed when he introduced us under my maiden name and not our married name. Everyone noticed the error. Additionally during the speeches the mic continually cut out despite being far away from the speakers as instructed. Finally, the dance was not great at all, the initial music played was not in my planning form, and then there was a bunch of slow country songs played simultaneously. Multiple people went up to request dancing music including my husband and myself, I told him to just skip the slow stuff so people could dance. Apart from a few group dance songs, 75% of the dancing crowd dissipated immediately. Overall we enjoyed the ceremony, but are overwhelmed with disappointment for the way the rest of the evening went, I would not recommend unfortunately.

Josiah made us start our wedding 17 minutes late because he couldn't find the section of the venue we were in (and didn't try to contact anyone within the venue or alternate contacts provided), then after getting to the section and setting up, we had to continue to wait because he had to update his computer. Three songs total were supposed to be played (and I need to emphasize this point - three TOTAL songs were to be played by Josiah. There was supposed to be seating music, but since we were anxiously waiting for Josiah to get set up, we told him to skip to the ceremony music!). The first song, the most important one, was never played. The second one, during the bride and bridesmaid's walk, was restarted for some reason, then after the second play of the song the music just sort of... stuttered off? Kind of like a techno remix of the song? Though I do have to admit - the third song during our kiss was perfectly on cue! We paid 700 bucks for three songs. Dude came late, didn't play one of those songs, and did a poor job with one other. You're probably thinking to yourself "man, that sucks, I'm sure DJ Sound Productions offered an apology, at least!" Luke at DJ Sound productions, when confronted, called my wife "petty", said that our "wedding wasn't disturbed" because of Josiah being tardy, and proceeded to blame her for miscommunication. During the call, he revealed that Josiah had been on mute in the background THE WHOLE TIME, and then Josiah and Luke tag-teamed yelling at my wife, not letting her speak, and putting words in her mouth. At this point, I know what you're thinking. We probably screwed up an email somewhere, wires were crossed, Josiah's a good guy he probably had a bad day, maybe we're just overreacting, etc. In fact, I'll bet dollars to donuts that very soon there will be a response to this review from DJ Sound Productions saying some of these exact things, and maybe even accusing me of "slander", as he did when he spoke to my wife. Here's the thing... I have videography to back up my claims, and documentation from DJ Sound Production's own systems (which they've now locked me out for some reason.... Funny considering I had access earlier today. It's okay though, I've taken screenshots of everything and exported all documents!) If you are searching for a DJ for your event, I implore you to reconsider purchasing services from DJ Sound Productions. If you have another DJ in mind, pick them. If you have a friend or family member that could do it, choose them instead. If you have a bluetooth speaker and Spotify, you'll probably fare better than hiring DJ Sound Productions.

We ignored this. After set up, he finally started playing and singing music. I told John up front we had lots of song requests and people that would want to sing. Nick did not have or know a lot of them. It was my party so I was singing and having a good time. People farthest from the set up could not hear anyone singing besides Nick and his guitar. He took many breaks and was served drinks. We were all a bit befuddled by the whole thing. Not professional. Was asked if his Dad could do magic at the party, I declined this but after he got here he still asked again and then asked about doing balloon animals for the kids. Out of kindness I said okay but was not going to pay him. JUST very awkward. I am very disappointed in the company along with the amount of CASH I paid up front. I would be very leery of hiring this outfit. And lastly, like my husband said, we had tons of people here wanting to have a fun time, but guests were upset and sad over the set up.
