Most of the DJs I know rent from EMI Audio, when they have gigs at venues that lack a sound system…read more So when a couple friends of mine asked me to MC their wedding at the Minnesota Zoo (which doesn't have a sound system), it was a no brainer as to where to go. The DJ I worked with (DJ Tyrone) suggested I ask for two hi packs (huge thigh-high 15'' speakers) with stands, and quarter inch cables. I called several days before to make the reservation. They just asked for my name, contact information, and credit card number. The next day, I picked them up. Below is the breakdown of the costs: -Speakers: $60 each. (You should get at least two.) -50 Ft Quarter-Inch Cables: $2 each. -Stands: $5 each. -Wireless Mic And Accessories: $37 Regarding their staff, they're very knowledgeable and friendly. They answered every question I had without any eye rolling or hesitation. The only thing EMI Audio could improve upon is getting better speaker stands. The speakers did not snuggly fit into the holes, and considering that they are worth almost up to a couple grand, they should rest on something a bit more secure. Other than that minor complaint, I would definitely use EMI Audio again in the future!

A coworker and I were planning a medium-scale event for middle school age students and their…read morefamilies. We wanted this event to be a fantastic celebration, truly special, and a fun and memorable experience. Fun Services helped 100% make this happen. I don't know how my coworker found this place, but I'm so glad she did! They worked with our budget, they delivered AND picked up all 8 of our rental games (and some of them were quite large), they set everything up for us (such as the inflatable money grab machine and the electronic basketball hoop game), and also supplied a wide variety of prizes for the games! Before we decided which games we wanted to rent, my coworker and I asked if we could come to their warehouse and see what games they had available. The staff at Fun Services were fantastic - they gave us a tour of the warehouse, answered all of our questions (we had TONS), gave suggestions, and were very honest with us about the practicality of certain games (some were huge and would require more space than we had). They have a massive, MASSIVE selection...we definitely had a hard time picking just 8 or so games to rent. The quality of the rental games were great. The money machine was better than we could have hoped. It came with the inflator, was large enough to fit probably two middle school kids (don't recommend it though), and even had a built-in buzzer. They also have some more classic games, like ball toss, milk bottle toss, ring toss, football toss, lobster launch (personal favorite), and skeeball. Again, they worked with us, they accommodated our needs, they were incredibly patient with us...I can't think of any other business in the Twin Cities I'd want to rent carnival games from.

We were hosting an event for kids and I saw them online and went through their website which was very user friendly. I filled out the online questionnaire, and they promptly emailed me back. From there I sent out my budget, and list of items I was interested in, to which they quickly replied, and even called me on the phone to further explain some things I was unsure about. After I selected the items I was interested in, they sent me an agreement form, and we were good to go! So easy! I dealt with Karen throughout all of this, and her patience and kindness was so helpful and appreciated! The day we picked up the items they showed me all of the items, and even showed me how to set up some of the larger items! They also included detailed instructions on set-up and take-down, with YouTube video links to check out if we needed extra guidance (which we didn't because the instructions were so easy to follow)! Day of the event everything went so easy. Because they had already showed me how to set things up, it was a piece of cake to get everything assembled! We got so many compliments on the games we chose, and everyone was impressed with how fun and easy they were to use! Taking down all of the items was quick and easy. Upon returning the games when I pulled up to the door, they unloaded everything and were so courteous and kind. 10 out of 10 I would recommend this company to anyone looking to host am event and rent carnival games (which is what we rented), bouncy castles, and so much more! Per recommendation of my wedding coordinator, I met with Linen Effects this week combine my wedding…read morecolors, vision, and more into the perfect tabling for my wedding. Scheduling an appointment was easy and was done via their website and email, super easy! When I arrived, I was a little confused when pushing the button to "call" them to let them know I was there, it was LOUD. They sounded a little confused when they answered but were super friendly moving forward and confirmed I was at the right place / right time. The staff member I worked with offered a water and/or coffee was kind. We spent the time going through ideas based on what my colors were, theme was, wants were, and more. I let the person know I was not very good with putting things/colors/items together and she did absolutely fantastic supporting and helping me curate my dream tables and centerpieces. I appreciated them letting me know prices and not pushing anything on me, they listened to me with what I liked and did not. I felt listened to, valued, and supported. The prices were more more than if you bought in bulk yourself but they are better quality, come clean and pressed, and you are able to put in a bag when done and drop off. Quality and convenience for sure! Looking forward to getting email with next steps and our wedding in May, hoping this review stays the same but will updated if needed!
