He then proceeded to ask for his tip before he left. Thankfully, I was sober enough to recall paying for the tip with the rental payment. He played dumb, and went on his way. Still, no harm no foul. HOWEVER, a month after our night out, I notice a new charge from Applause on my credit card statement in the same amount of the final payment I previously made! I called several times and left messages, emailed and got absolutely no response. Thank goodness I was able to dispute the charge through my credit card company, and get it removed. Now, threee months later, ANOTHER charge for the same amount shows up on my credit card statement AGAIN! I called, and of course no response. I've now disputed this charge, as well as blocked Applause from any further charges in the future. Overall, I would never use them again, nor allow anyone I know to use them. Shady business practices, that just keep getting shadier!

They did not hold up their end of the deal to pick us up and drop us off. My group also noticed antifreeze and several water bottles in the van (so clearly they were prepared for this to happen and knew this van was unsafe but still picked 8 of us up anyways). They are dishonest and no one should ever use them! We rented a party bus to take us from Grand Rapids to Detroit this past weekend. Prior to booking,…read morethe customer service was good. I was able to negotiate the price for the group we had and booking was easy. On the day of, our driver was about 20 minutes later than the scheduled pickup time. Once we were on the bus and on the highway, we realized one window was cracked and was not sealed around the edges. At one of the rest stops, I pointed this out to our driver, Scott. He said he would stop and get something to fix it. Because it was so cold, we ended up "fixing" it ourselves with what we had - Meijer bags and paper towels - to keep the cold air from coming in. Prior to doing this, everyone was freezing and it was almost unbearable. The other issue was that he did not have the main door latched all the way, so there was cold air from the front and back of the bus. We were able to fix the window enough that allowed us all to be comfortable and still enjoy our time. Though he was late, we made it to where we needed to be in time. Everyone had a great time and Scott was very nice! It was just a little frustrating in the beginning because you are paying quite a bit of money for something.
