I will never go to any other stylist, so Darrin, you can't ever retire! I've got very difficult hair to deal with... very fine and fragile, lots of gray to cover, easily damaged, and naturally wavy. Darrin is masterful at weaving 3 colors throughout with foils, brush and his eye for perfection. The blonds always have just the right "pop" without ever showing signs of chemical damage, and the browns are warm and wonderful, leaving my hair shiny and healthy. I've been to very high end salons all over the country and have never found a stylist who is as talented, professional, consistent and wonderful as Darrin is. I started coming here about 4 months ago, and was put in touch with D (Deanna), one of the stylists there. We were laughing it up immediately. She is friendly, funny, witty and caring. She's a hair professional who uses exclusively organic products. Each cut has been somewhat different and based on what we both thought would be fun on that particular day. I get great compliments on my hair and as a recently single guy, I am digging it! D is awesome, and the team at Elite are always gracious, warm, and respectful. David is an amazing stylist and a wonderful human being. So happy I found his studio. My first appointment was end of January, and I haven't been back since...because he gave me such a fantastic haircut and style! I am new to Sedona and needed to have my hair cut and colored I called Elite and Dee took me in. She was awesome!! She listened to what my concerns were about my hair she made some suggestions and we went for it. My color and cut are wonderful and easy for me to style. She is absolute the best colorist and stylist that I have ever met. She uses organic products that don't make your hair itch and smell when it is done. I have been going to this salon since February wherein I worked with D (Deanne)!!! As a Chicago native, I've had Charles Ifergan personally work on my hair, as well as other top notch colorists and stylists! D is extraordinary!! She's personable, dynamic and stellar with color and style! Her color products are all organic, no harsh additives or chemicals and, since having my hair colored, cut and styled in February, I've had to return ONLY for cut maintenance as the color has held fabulously!!! Haley is a miracle worker! I've lived in Sedona for years and I've tried every salon you can think of and no one does hair color like this Queen does! This Salon is one the better shops I've been to. The owners are very friendly and they follow up with their clients. David cuts my hair. He cuts it how I want it to look. It is hard to find a stylist who will cut it my preferred length without keeping it too long or making it too short. If it happens to be longer in a certain area I can go back and he will cut it to satisfy me. Highly recommend both the salon and David. read more

First I want to comment on how clean and modern Elite salon is. No overwhelming product fumes when first walking into the salon. That is VERY important to me because I'm pretty sensitive to chemicals. My experience with Kim has always be extremely positive. She takes her time and does a great job with my cut. David at Elite is nothing short of a magician. He cuts like a dream and somehow makes my fine, limp hair full and healthy looking. And what a colourist! I used to just get highlights but have been branching out into more fun colours recently. The latest is ombré purple to pink. Sounds extreme? Not the way David does it.
