NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. I put my faith in Dr Salama to make the right recommendations to ensure I got my desired result from the surgery. I stated in my consultation before the surgery that I wanted a size C, 1 cupsize up from my natural breasts. After the surgery I was awestruck at how vulgar and enormous my poor breasts were! Definitely not the C Cup that I said I asked for. He made them into E's at minimum. From talking to other doctors and o e plastic surgeon friend of mine and also doing some research came across a multitude of facts stating that a 200cc- was all I'd need to get a c CUp result. since I was staring with 34B so 200cc is the required amount to acquire 1 cupsize up from my natural breasts. Attached is one of the examples Dr Salama put much larger implants ( I believe 450 or 500cc). Knowing I simply wanted a C, Dr Salamas choice of giving me such a large implants leaves me scratching my head and could make me question, if he didn't know the implant was too big for my desired result or ethics, if he did know but purposely gave me something I didn't want assuming it would fly?? I was completely humiliated to go out in public with boobs that massive as if I were a freak of nature or a star in adult films. Dr Salama offered to remove and replace them with the condition that I pay for the new implants. Being that it was clearly and very obviously his mistake, I was extremely upset, crying and also furious. I didn't have time to waste because my parents were coming to visit in two weeks! So several days after the first surgery I was back in the operating rooM again for an implant replacement. They were still a size D not the C I told him I needed. I incurred massive expenses in coming from NY to get the surgery and have to take off from work, hotel costs, car rental and pay even more out of pocket to get the revision I should not have needed. It could have at the very least been both ethical and reasonable if Dr Salama had at least coveted for the implants that should have been used in the first place which I already paid for in the cost of my surgery.. I came in from out of town for my procedure because it is not done locally. Here is the long and short of my review. Their practice is like a puppy mill. They will send you out the door before you are completely out of anesthesia. I had to fly back for complications and the doctor (who saw me an hour and a half late) popped in for 5 mins and did not answer any of my questions directly , he just gave vague answers and out the door I went. Dr salama the butcher of hollywood and his rude disrespectful dishonest crew. first thing we noticed is they have internal conflict and fighting in their office you can sense when you go there every day. My wife just finished over $10,000 dollars for tummy back and arms liposuction. They were nice and informative before they received their 50% deposit. After they received their deposit is when they start their manipulation game. On the day of surgery the Dr decided that we didn't pay enough and wanted additional $1500. so we paid. After surgery they released her an hour after surgery, crying, puking, body bruised all over, blood oozing from a dozen holes. they did not even give her even give her enough time to wake up from anesthesia. they wheeled her out the back door, threw her into our car, walked away and slammed the door, the following two days after two massages they informed us that we would need ten more massages at an another $1000. when they charged us for the massages they added an addition charge of $500 to our credit card for "emergency surgery expenses" . they did not one time inform us of this charge or any emergency we experienced. We asked for explanation of this charge on our credit card statement. and they immediately became defensive saying we had extreme bleeding and needed emergency services. if this was true, these are things a patient needs to know about, and maybe should not be discharged so rapidly, because i disagreed with them about the $500 charge that was made to our card with out ever being told . I had massage therapist Ivonne and she was very experienced and thorough. When I had a massage with someone else yesterday, i hardly had drainage. But today returning to Ivonne. Man was i shocked! I had my procedure done 13 months ago. I going into this felt like I was in the best hands possible. Up until the few red flags I had once the nurse called me into the back to get ready for surgery. They asked me a few questions. The nurse that triaged me wasn't the friendliest. I didn't mind (but it got worse during post op) They took my clothes and said the doctor would be ready to see me in the second office. I sat in a freeeezing cold room for literal hours (I fell asleep) The doctor (Dr salama) came in to wake me up and take pictures. He was yawning a ton and seemed Tired (first red flag) After surgery the nurse (Nancy) was the absolute sweetest and the only reason I gave 2 stars. Post op is when everything pretty much sucked 1. The nurse I mentioned earlier was extremely rude and literally angry towards me for having low blood pressure (I naturally have low blood pressure) she was yelling at me and my mom saying I need to be eating Or they can't do their job to get me healthy. My mom and I told her I have been eating she was convinced otherwise and after scolding my 52 year old mother For not making me eat another nurse came in to check more levels to make sure I have been eating she was very . Happy with my levels aside from my NATURALLY low blood pressure, and the angry nurse all of a sudden turned into all smiles. Every encounter with her after this point was pleasant 2. They changed the time of my second massage after my surgery which conflicted with my flight time (I flew in from Chicago) and did absolutely nothing to help. They suggested I come in for however long I can (I got a 10 minute massage) and flew home. 3. That was the LAST I ever heard from them although they said they would call for a checkup. The comfort and compassion stops the second you're in the back office for surgery 4. I look like sponge bob. He did nothing I asked. I have fat on the bottom and on the top with nothing in the middle. I will be getting a 2nd one done elsewhere. PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER CLIINIC! They won't treat you like a person. You're just a number and will feel like an animal. On the day of my surgery, they left me in a cold room wearing a paper gown for HOURS. I mean around 3 hours! The surgery was booked for 4pm, and only happened around 8:30pm. The anesthesiology was aggressive and rude, it was absolutely disturbing. Dr. Salama was treating my case with zero empathy and consideration. The pre-op consultation lasted a couple of minutes. He was absolutely rude and did not listen to anything I was saying. He would talk on his phone while drawing the lines on my chest. Two weeks after the surgery, on a post-op appointment, Dr Salama called me SIR!!! It was so disturbing! As a transgender woman, I would expect a doctor to treat me with respect! Calling me "sir" triggered a lot of traumas and inner issues, and that was an absolutely cruel thing to do to a human being! I am writing an update to my previous review. I am almost two years out from my surgery with Dr. Salama. Overall, I am not very happy with the results. For my BBL, my left side does have some hip projection, the right side does not. On the right side, I am straight (no hip) and then have this enormous butt. It looks weird. I can now tell when people have had butt augmentation because of how I look. I truly look like that ant emoji on my right side. I do think my butt is too big for my legs and I made sure to tell him to make me look proportionate. I guess that went in one ear and out the other. Also, I got breast implants. I was a C cup before and asked to go to a D cup so the change would not be noticeable. I now wear a cup size DD. My breasts are too big as he place way bigger implants than I wanted. The right one is constantly in pain. I actually had an MRI done to ensure the implant was not rupture because it was in pain. It just feels unnatural like something is sitting on top on my breast (its a weird feeling). It also leans to the right and not perky like the other breast. I still have noticeable scars around the areola area despite using a lot of Mederma and other creams to help. I plan to see another plastic surgeon (the one I was originally going to go to but changed my mind since Dr. Salama's price was cheaper) to get his opinion. I guess I got what I paid for. Again, I DO NOT recommend Dr. Salama for surgery. My experience was horrible and even now I am not overall happy with my results. read more

I am giving this review one star because after you spent so much money with them they throw you to the curve. I can never be seen on time for my follow ups or check ups. I work so to not be seen when scheduled interferes with my work day. I scheduled my appointment at 9am and when I get here I was told he doctor is running late and should be here soon. IT is now 10:20 and I have yet to see the doctor. This is not the first time I've encountered this problem. It's like they are putting priority In acquiring new patients than taking care of the older one. This experience was the worst. I went to Dr Salama 2 years ago. I got breast implants done by him which was a mistake because now they're sagging all the way to my stomach. I reached out to him last year and he quoted me $2000 to tighten the pocket (something that should have already been tight) or 4K to switch them out. Now my implants are hanging so low they're starting to move around and cause me pain, mind you once again it's only been two years. Bias to African Americans/Black Skin, People of Color. I am a "very light skinned" African American. I currently have cosmetic makeup that took and healed without any infections or visible scaring. Elite, prior to making appointments with people of color, inform them that they do not work on their skin. No, because this would obviously be prejudice. It is 10:25pm. I am still very upset and shaking about my experience at Elite Plastic Surgery. Called (never asked my race, skin color, surgical problems, etc.) and set time aside for the over two (2) weeks cosmetic makeup appointment. Arrived 04/08/19 very early to take care of any necessary paperwork. Waited over ten (10) minutes past appointment (3:30pm). Melissa Heys came, apologized and I followed her to a back office. Immediately, she let me know she did not work on "Black" skin, due to infections/scars and getting the color right. Okay? Why am I here and scheduled to see her? She had no problem and was quick to refer me to another business(es), where she said "African Americans" worked. She was not interest in the cosmetic makeup I already had. I felt Elite and the super testimonials might be a good place to get any touch ups and future work done. Also, she agreed that it was hard to get the coloring exactly right on any race, because you don't know how the skin will take it or how it is going to heal/scar. Was she right to so boldly decline service? Is this business policy and she was following orders? Is Elite at fault for hiring someone that did not have the experience and refused to work on all races? How many others have had to face this prejudice at Elite? I believe I owe every woman and man who are thinking about getting plastic surgery, an honest review that can potentially save them from the pain and discrimination that I experienced with Dr.Salama and his staff. My hope is that you don't go through this, and that your journey is a safe one, unlike mind. Dr.Salama and his staff showed a total disregard for my safety, and the successful outcome of my surgery. Here's my story. During my post op visits I was repeatedly given contrary instructions of care not once, but eight times. When I told Dr.Salama and the office manager, who is Dr.Salama's brother, how his nurses were giving me incorrect post op instructions, such as how to read drainage sites, how to clean wounds sites, what medications to take and when, what not to wear, what activities to refrain from ext. Dr.Salama clearly told me (on audio) in his own words "Move on!" I was crying and I felt so unsafe, but he didn't care. I still can't understand how a doctor would respond in this manner. How can you be ok with your nurses giving wrong instructions? He then proceeded to tell me to get up while I was laying naked on the exam table (my surgery was done just a few days ago, and I could barely lift myself to get up.) with horrible pain in my right thigh. He said "We aren't going to do your post op massages". Even though I had paid for them in my surgery packet. I asked Dr.Salama how he could do that, if just yesterday he expressed concern about a potential blood clot developing in reference to the huge, hard lump on my right thigh and instructed me to come in to his office to get the post op massage ASAP. Dr.Salama answered "This is how we are going to do things." I was denied the post op massages I bought, and the post op care that was included as well (the post op care is critical to the success of this type of surgery.) I told him that I was going to call the police, and he said he already had. I knew something strange was going on because they weren't the standard police that come out to these types of calls. They were SWAT! When they arrived Dr.Salama and his staff proceeded to take selfies with the SWAT team and laugh at me(I had on post op garments, foam sheets and drainage bulbs) This is so demeaning. I think any female or male would feel shame in being forced to openly talk about their medical history to a laughing audience. I was so weak and in pain I couldn't stand, the officers told me and my aunt to leave, or they would arrest us, all the while they kept hiding their body cams. How can this abuse of power happen in this country? The next day I was admitted to the ER. Where I was given a blood transfusion due to the fact that the drainage sites were left on too long by Dr.Salama and his staff. How is a patient supposed to react when you feel that the consultation was just a gimmick to get your money, and that soon after the surgery is completed you become useless to their business. The money is obtained, and then the reality of their ethics is revealed. It is truly sad when a surgeon cheats a patient out of their money and not just that, but intentionally puts his patient in harm's way, and denies them help even though he and his staff were directly involved in the complications of the surgery. I wish you all luck in your journey to find a plastic surgeon that will make your dreams come true, but please remember that this doctor and his staff are avid buyers of social media followers. I was told by one of the nurses that if I wrote a good review they would offer me discounts on other procedures. I can testify to you that courtesy, respect, dignity, and the oath of caring for your patients is not in this doctor's heart. I understand that this may seem shocking, but I assure you it's true. I paid my deposit and signed a paperwork saying if I cancel under 30 days I lose my deposit. I cancelled in 32 days and they tried to keep my deposit. I argued and had to file a complaint with them with the BBB. They still argued through the BBB. Ultimately they are going to let me apply my $800 to another procedure. But they have left such a foul taste in my mouth. You can look up my BBB complaint under their name. It is unresolved. Be very careful with ANY paper work you sign. Record the conversations. After countless visits and phone calls, both have taken back on their words and have broken contracts. Dr. Salama has a past of providing low quality work (as seen in these reviews along with other outlets) and it's obvious they're only in the business for the money and power as they both are defiant in working with patients, especially those who are not from the area. There is no surprise that these men treat their patients this way (that's probably how they were taught to treat people in their culture, especially towards women). Went in a few months ago to get some fillers that would make my weak chin look fuller as it's always been an insecurity of mine. The Dr. was great, super nice and understanding. I was very happy with my results and even had half a syringe left. He told me I can come back any time to re apply when the filler wears out. Ok, perfect. Few months go by and I decide it's time to go back and reapply my second half of the syringe, I call to make an appointment and am told that the Doctor who did my filler is gone and that my syringe is " long gone" also. They literally threw out money that I don't have down the toilet. It's not my fault that the doctor is gone, why should they throw my syringe away? At least call me before to let me know I need to go in now before just throwing it away. It's just heartbreaking. ( YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYBODY. ) Nevertheless, I had a gut instinct that I should take that trip to see him anyway, so I did. DID NOT REGRET MY DECISION. I have to say that I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Salama & his staff. Especially Cynthia, who was TOTALLY AMAZING & Nancy who was a such a sweetheart as well. They were all very friendly & made you feel comfortable. Dr. Salama took time with me, I didn't feel rushed at all. He was not dry nor mean in any way as some people have stated. He will keep it real with you & give you his honest opinion, " WHICH I CAN SO APPRECIATE". He won't "yes" you just so you can hear want you want to hear but give you more of reality of what is or is not possible. He was very personable, understanding of my needs & explained to me in detail what he would do. I had two breast reductions in the past & had some issues going on from that which would entail a small implant, scar revision & other very detailed work. I have faith that he will do a great job & I will be satisfied with the results as he is a very experienced, talented & resourceful doctor. I'm looking forward to my surgery & to see my final results. He's worth the trip to see him especially if your out of state. It took me about 15-20 minutes driving from the airport to his office. I went to Dr salama to get a breast augmentation. The consultation was the day before the surgery and I met with a nurse, not him. I thought this was strange because I hadn't even told him what I wanted. The next day they told me to come in for surgery around 4 pm. I met with the surgeon for 5 min before operation time and he seemed to be rushing to get out of there. During the 5 min consult with him he informed me that the length from my neck line to my nipple was longer than average. We decided he would put a moderate size implant such as 320/350. After surgery I was informed I got 450 cc implants placed in me. That was the first bad sign however I will be honest, I am not that disappointed with the size. A couple days after being home I developed a hematoma which I called his office and informed them about 2x which no1 ever called me back about. Thankfully it corrected itself within a week or 2. Now, 6 months later my implant has bottomed out and I need a revision. Although it would be cheaper I def would not go back to Salama. The way I was treated and the fact he put a heavier implant in me knowing I prob could have used a lift from get go shows me he's just rushed and concerned about the money. Stay far away! I purchased a Groupon for the Botox and had a terrible experience. 1. The DR was on the phone with a friend for a long time while I am sitting in the chair. NO consultation-just hey got to go do a botox to his friend. He was holding the syringe like he had many other things to do and just kind of jabbed it in. I was supposed to get up to 20 units and i only got 4 injections which I was very surprised about. I have had botox before at SLEEK which was AMAZING. Not anything like this. I got sent on my way with no recommendations even though i asked. A day later I developed a big bruise by my right eye which got worse. About 3 days later I had NO sign of effect of the botox and still a huge bruise. I called the office and the Dr basically said he is not available fridays so I would have to wait till tuesday if i wanted to come in aand have it looked at. showing real concern...NOT Anyway its been 2 weeks-still no result, no follow up from them. Very disspointed. I called Groupon and let them know and received a refund. To Elite-if you are going to offer a groupon make sure you can afford it and dont dilute the botox in an effort to get more people in your door. Bad move. read more

I just had a mommy makeover 5 days ago and I have to say that I am very satisfied with my results. The staff at EPS have been amazing and Dr. Salama's work speaks for itself.
