The place is nice and clean. People are nice. Pedicure service could definitely use improvement!

Alright dude. I always get my nails done with a bunch of design and length and I have never paid more than $90. The employees are super kind, so it sucks to write this kind of review. I have never paid so much for such sloppiness. I left with paint on my hands, coats of black see through, terribly done lines and mis-shapen nails. They charged me for "extra long length" and idk about yall but these are not even close to extra long, I would say pretty typical actually. They charged me $105 for this set, and not only are they not worth that, they weren't even worth my 2 hours of time sitting in the salon. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless it is your last resort, and be ready to drop a very big buck. I'm no stranger to pedicures, I've had hundreds in my life. I can say, undoubtedly, that this was the best pedicure I've had in my life. Business is excellently maintained and clean. Staff is beyond friendly, helpful, and communicative. If you happen to be in the Salina, KS area, take an hour and take care of yourself. I don't frequent this area, but if I return, I will be back. read more

I always have en excellent experience getting a pedicure here. I do not live in Salina anymore. When I am passing through, I always stop here for some pampering. They are 30$ for "classic" pedi and the price goes up from there through upsale. I dont need extra stuff. They never pinch my cuticles like has happened at other places. Ouch! Absolutely the worst nail experience I've ever had. I normally make the trip to Wichita to get my nails done and I won't ever not do that again. I made an appointment for dip but that was pointless because they accept every single walk-in even over the people who have appointments and when they clearly are too busy and don't have the staff. They were so rushed that the nail tech kept hurting me when he was using the dremel. I paid $42 for my dip set and gel top coat, no tips. At my other nail salon, pay $45 for dip, tips, and artwork. I know each salon is different and can charge what they like but for the service I received and how my nails look (they look decent at best and are very sorry from how roughly he used the dremel and file) it's absolutely ridiculous. read more

First time to this nail salon and unfortunately the last. I took my 6 year old daughter with me for her first pedicure/manicure experience which makes this even more frustrating. We called ahead and getting us sat didn't take much time but we were very rushed to pick a color (no gel just regular polish). We chose a basic pedicure and it was so rushed, 12 minutes to be exact from sit time to when they were done polishing. . They did not use a stone on my heels for any of the dry skin or take time to shape my nails. In fact they were done polishing my daughters nails and toes in that time. Of course this being her first time and being painted in a chair she messed up the polish on her nails while still there not having a surface to set them in or a fan. The gentleman doing my pedicure clipped my skin multiple times and I kept having to tell him. Then he clipped my skin again on the manicure making my finger bleed. The manicure was extremely rushed as well and looks very unprofessional. We won't be going back. read more

I have been here twice. Once as a walk-in and once with an appointment. Both times I had a 10 minute wait... not sure the scheduling effort was needed. Both times they were clearly rushing my service which is very disappointing considering I get my nails done as a pampering for myself and use the time to relax. The first visit I had tips and the dip, they made many of my cuticles bleed with the dremel... not relaxing at all. The second time I had tips removed and dipped my natural nails. I was rushed to pick my color -- they didn't give me the color book to flip through while I waited my turn upon arrival. No cuticles bleeding this time, but still a very rushed service. Both visits skipped the ending moisturizing hand massage... one of my favorite parts of a manicure. Honestly. if I had to guess, they have a quota competition going on in there ... all about speed and not quality. In summary, if you're interested in a quick nail service- and don't mind a few nicks, this is your place. If you're looking for quality service and a relaxing atmosphere... this is not the place. I gave two stars because my nails turned out alright, otherwise it'd have a been 1. Oh- and I second what Amanda T said in her review- NOT organized. read more

The pedicure was very good. The website says they do massages but I think that's only a massage chair. It was difficult to communicate with the staff. Wasn't offered anything to drink. They added a 20% tip without an option of changing it. So the "spa" part of it was lacking but the nail treatment was good. read more

I have given Elite Nails 3 chances now and every time has been a disappointment. The first time I made an appointment online and it was confirmed. I show up for my appointment and had to explain several times that I had a reservation and what I was wanting was acrylic tips with gel polish manicure and a pedicure. I was then placed in a pedicure chair - the basin was filled with water and then I sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come and begin my pedicure. When I went to get the tips and gel polish they had me soak my hands in bowls of water and then asked if I wanted any length off. Once again I explained that I wanted acrylic tips with gel polish. The person who was helping me didn't know how to do those so I had to wait until someone else was available. Their understanding of the English language and speaking it is not good. The second time I went I tried to schedule an appointment online and never received a phone call or a confirmation so I just walked in without an appointment. This time I wanted a pedicure and a fill for the acrylic nails they had put on. According to the times on their "menu" this should take about an hour and 45 minutes. Two hours and 20 minutes later I was finally done. Today I tried to call to make an appointment and they never answered their phone. I walked in 20 minutes before the sign said they opened and they were already waiting on clients. I told them I wanted a pedicure and acrylic tips with gel on my nails. They took me right over to get my nails done and I waited 10 minutes for someone to help me. During the time she worked on my nails she got up twice to go check somebody out and again to book an appointment for someone. When she finished she told me that pedicure chair number 10 was ready for me. I go over there and sit. No water in the basin, no massage control for that chair. Nobody acknowledged me. After sitting there for 15 minutes I finally got up, paid for the acrylic nails and left. They are too worried about making all the money they can rather than providing good customer service. I would rather be told that they don't have time for me today than to just sit there waiting and being ignored. read more

It was a great experience he was very gentle and good with the nail drill as well I also liked the design he did to. The only reason I put four stars is because the file he used on me looked very used and there should be a new file every time but that was the only problem we had. Absolutely awful service. my girlfriend had just gone in to get her nails done for her graduation. after waiting in line forever she got set up and asked for a simple flower design. they told her no stating that it was "too difficult" and then charged her $85 for a simple set of nails that would have been $40 anywhere else. Where do I begin. I usually drive an hr just to come here and do my nails. My first few experiences where good. Seems now the concern is making money rather than make the customer happy. I was charge 45 dollars for a pedicure only to get home and still feel dead skin on my feet and bk to been rough. I am in the army and spend must of my days with boots on and pedicure is the only thing that's helps me relax my feet. I ask for a small design polka dots and they ask for 20 dollars extra and when I said no I was than told 15 dollars more at which point I had change my mind. (I have left more than that in tips ). I end up simply asking to leave my nails clear. I had an appt the whole process to include dip took three hours because taking more customers in and letting me wait was a better option for them. I was frustrated and said I just want my previous dip remove. The guy responded with if I wanted to get more dip nails than they will do it right than if I wasn't getting another than I would have to wait another hr. . I was in KC must of the weekend but waited till today just to go to Salina. I deeply regret it. I am never going back and I will be looking for a new place for me and the four other friends I refer to this place. read more

I had a appointment with my two daughters on Thursday at 5:30 . We got there and they only had 1 person to start our nails. My daughters had to wait for over 30 minutes. They did a good job on our nails but very disappointed they did not have employees ready to do all of our nails at once. I believe that is the idea of a appointment. Finally a place in Salina I can support! This place is so clean, nice, and modern. Forget the other nail salons in Salina and go here. Michael did my nails and was great. I'm going back to get a gift certificate for my mom for Christmas. Also, services are priced right and they didn't rush to get me done like the other places in Salina. They don't charge extra for using a credit card either. I hate that the other nail salons in Salina do this. They have my business! read more

Visiting Salina for the holidays and needed to get new dip, I definitely made the right choice!! Leyna was very professional and my nails look fabulous!! It's very clean and well kept. I am extremely impressed and felt relaxed throughout my whole experience. If I had to say one negative thing, there was issues with another client and checking out/paying but in my eyes, it's a new business and easily forgivable. read more

well.. me and two of my friends made appointments at 3 today for 5:40 and sat in the chair waiting for service for over an hour. once we got sat down we waited for another 30 minutes AT LEAST. it says appointments only but they kept taking walk ins over us. 10/10 do not recommend. definitely going somewhere else tomorrow. read more
