They did a great job and cleaned up all excess branches and brush before they left. Additionally, the stump was too close to my house to be removed safely without doing damage. Ginger Valley installed some landscaping for me. I had selected a specific tree that I wanted and…read moreit was tagged with my name. The install was done in the fall when the tree didn't have many leaves on it and I wasn't paying close attention. The next year, I was looking at the leaves and realized it was a completely different tree! They could not explain why the tree I selected was sold to someone else and they chose to plant a completely different tree without my knowledge or consent. My invoice showed the tree I selected but the one I got was wrong. They also demo'ed a small retaining wall and took the cinder blocks with them, which I intended to use for a fire pit. Several plants died but were replaced under warranty. The replacements were mismarked and I got the wrong plant (again!) so they didn't match the other ones in the ground. One of the ornamental plantings selected by Brent was way too big for the space, which I told him at the time, and now needs to be moved. A few of my sprinkler heads were buried or otherwise damaged. I liked the overall design, but the process was rough because of poor communication, a disorganized install, and the failure of Ginger Valley to actually provide the plants I had selected. Considering how much I paid for the project, I expected a lot better. I won't use Ginger Valley again.

Total cost was well over $1000. In order to get a bobcat into the backyard the fence was dismantled. When it came time to list the house the lawn looked worse than it originally did despite watering regularly. Not only did grass not grow, weeds grew rampant. It turned my yard into a mud pit and weed field. Don't trust me trust the attached pics. I called, texted Paul on multiple occasions to reinstall the fence he removed and asked him to resolve the lawn and weed issues. When he finally called back I was told that the grass seed only works 60% of the time. This information would have been useful before I spent $1000 to ruin my lawn and fence. Paul never fixed the issues, never warrantied his work and never called me back despite leaving multiple voicemails and texts requesting follow up. I ended up giving the buyers of the house a $1k credit and told them not to use this company. It was a complete waste of my time and money. Don't waste $2k like I did. Instead hire a professional landscaper.
