I was the only one taking the class so it went by pretty quickly. The instructor is so nice and really explains each topic well. She asks you questions to make sure you understand the content in order to apply it to the emergency situation. Her questions all help with the test at the end. She's friendly and approachable, so don't be afraid to ask questions! The mannequins have become more high tech from when I last did my BLS certification. There's an app that can measure the depth and rate you're performing your compressions. I think that's pretty cool! In terms of cleanliness/infection control, we were wearing masks. I only removed my mask momentarily when I was performing rescue breaths. All equipment was wiped down and disinfected after the course. Hand sanitizer was also available. I felt safe with the proper precautions taken. Overall, I highly recommend getting your certification done here! The whole experience was pleasant.

I struggled so badly with the FAR section of the CPA exam that I almost lost all hope completely. I appreciated his approach to tutoring and how he was able to teach me in a way that really benefitted me. We would cover the topic (since it had been so long that I had even reviewed specific content) and I would ask questions throughout our lessons to ensure I grasp it. We'd walk through questions which was incredibly beneficial because we'd be able to talk through why my answer was wrong specific to my thought process and he would help me see what I was missing. He provided incredible notes that I was able to understand and apply to every question when I studied- truly it was above and beyond. Len is an incredibly patient tutor which I needed because I was often so frustrated when I couldn't grasp a concept. I felt more confident about the areas being tested and felt more grounded in the content that when I did pass, FAR was my second highest score! The way he helped me understand complex concepts made tackling FAR so much easier I just wish I had reached out earlier!

Our one-year-old daughter just started this month, and the staff have been incredibly sweet and attentive with her. From day one, I received plenty of photos and updates showing exactly what she was doing throughout the day. That level of communication made me feel so much more at ease, especially as a parent leaving a little one in someone else's care for the first time. In just a short time, she's already learning to spoon-feed herself and is showing so much more independence while exploring and walking around with confidence. Our four-year-old son has been attending for a couple of months now. He had been struggling with some behavioral challenges at his previous daycare, but since switching to Guidepost, we haven't had a single issue. The difference is night and day. The teachers here are clearly well-trained and experienced. They have a calm, confident presence and complete control of the classroom (which is no easy feat with a group of four-year-olds!). They keep the children engaged while also teaching valuable social skills, like how to play cooperatively, share, and respect personal space. In addition, our son has multiple food allergies and sensitivities, and the team at Guidepost has been exceptionally supportive and accommodating. They've gone out of their way to not only make sure his dietary needs are met, but to support me as a parent during what has been a tough transition to a new diet. Unresponsive, uncaring, and unhelpful behavior towards children. The plus, the cameras, at an additional expense, after a short period of time, showed us all the wrongdoings of the staff. We moved to another daycare and it seems like a whole new world. The additional cost for the camera access and lunch, on top of incompetent staff.......is a no brainer. Do not enroll here. We left here 1 year ago and couldn't be happier with our choice. All Lightbridge Academy daycares are not created equal. Much better locations not that far from this one.
