Came out same day, which was great. What was not great, is the fact that the technician did not even check the key pad properly to see if it was in fact working and sold me on replacing it. New to my home, I did not realize you needed to put in the code and then hit enter. Thus, it was most likely working the whole time! Then he stated he could put the old one back on, but I still needed to pay for the call and I would need a new one eventually. He proceed to tell me I need a whole new garage door system and I should start saving now! I found this to be aggressive. Pointed out more issues I was oblivious of, like rust on rollers and cable rusted and was almost gonna break. He did a very good job and I think he gave me an honest price. We had the cables for our garage door break (corrosion on the bottom loop), I made the appointment at 7:00 pm and the Technician showed up at 10:30 am the following day. Repairs were completed is about 60 minutes, the technician was outstanding. Prices on parts were a bit high but we were very happy with the repairs and overall have no complaints. I had been meaning to leave this review since last year, I kind of forgot about it. Back in January 2017 we used Elite for the second time, I had a spring pop overnight and they answered the phone at 9:30 PM. Matt showed up at my Brooklyn Park home by 8:30 AM the next morning and was done in less than an hour! While I did not want to buy a new opener, he explained why it was necessary and offered me a great deal on a new one. Thanks again Matt, I always recommend elite whenever I have friends who need garage door maintenance. To add, if you are one of those guys who thinks you can replace a spring on your own, don't! I saw the type of machines they have to use to make this work, very dangerous to try on your own, especially if you do not know what you are doing! read more

Our door spring broke last night, so I called them this morning. Everything was fixed within about 3 hours of the initial call, and the cost was right in line with what I was expecting. I did end up replacing a couple other parts, as the spring had caused some other issues, but I'm happy with the service. The door opens and closes much easier now. read more

These guys are amazing! We first used them last fall to replace our garage door. They were able to get out the next day and their work was fast and very affordable. We had some issues with the same door closing this spring and again they were able to come out next day and fixed it free of charge since it was under warranty. After calling Elite Garage Door for a broken spring last year, the tech posted a sticker on the door for several discounts on future work. A year later, a small cable tore and I called Elite for a repair. Prior to starting the job, I showed the tech my coupon for $20 off any service - (that they had left). He said he'd have to call the boss to see if they'd honor it. What??????? Well, the boss said no, it would be the full bid price. I can't believe this actually happened! Elite Garage Door really came through with my garage door. I have a one stall tuck under garage that has a very low ceiling and an unlevel floor. Garett came out to fix my garage door. He fixed it last time I had trouble with it in 2011 and did a great job. He also gave it a tune up today and now it is running a lot quieter. He is very personable and explained what needed to be done now and what will need to be done in the future. The job was also done quickly and wasn't terribly expensive. My husband and I called Elite Garage Door based on two of our garage doors not working. The woman I spoke to over the phone was very knowledgeable and pleasant and was able to give me an estimate over the phone (also saying they do free estimates in case we don't go with them). She was able to schedule service within 2 hours. Matthew, the garage repair expert called when he was 10 minutes away. My husband spoke to Matthew regarding what happened to our garage doors and my husband was very happy with his knowledge and friendly demeanor. Matthew was able to fix both garage doors in a couple of hours. Fast, friendly, reliable and worth the price --what more can one ask for! They also warranty their work for 3 years.
