We did GA, and I got the senior discount, so that was cool. There's a bar that you can order beverages. I saw some people with charcuterie boards. I ended up with a rosé. I won't do that next time. There was a 15 minute intermission, but the line for the bathroom was so long. I ended up going back to my seat. So I ended up getting a little uncomfortable the last half of the show. I did like the interaction with the audience.. though I'm glad they never picked on me!

The recent show I attended had great snacks and drinks - one couple even seemed to have a charcutier and bottle of wine though most of the seating does not have a lot of options to set things down. The crowds are always diverse. I was a bit shocked when an actor tapped someone sitting to move for them and the guy blatantly just ignored her.... just wow. This location just has one bathroom which is on a timer. I had an awkward lights out situation while in there. I seriously just sat and lights out... I use a cane and am already awkward enough without being in a strange space needing to find the roll of tp in pitch black and also get up and find the light switch. Someone was behind me so I warned them just in case...a person who worked there barked loudly at me that 'IT'S ON A FIFTEEN MINUTE TIMER' and I am uncertain if that was chastising me saying I was in there longer than the maybe five minutes I was - even with me stumbling around in the dark. It was just rather odd. Also, it seems a staple for places to have ushers who are generally clueless that they work there and there is a whole audience there to see a show. I was right by the door and a romantically involved couple who were both ushers sat also right by the door the whole show. I am not sure which was more annoying - him texting through the whole show {while rustling a program to try to hide his phone which was actually more distracting} or her constantly petting him and whispering back and forth with him through the entire show. I get that they have probably seen the play fifty times now and are bored but there was a teen who, legit was wearing flannel PJ bottoms and was pretty young who stayed engaged, not even fidgeting the whole time. So, maybe have the ushers by the exit who can pretend we the audience are new here and want to watch the play. There were a few audience members who would stand up to see things or had crazy weird laughs and that actually makes it more amusing. I was seated between two entrance and exits but honestly the actors move throughout and I feel like there really are not bad seats so pick out the type of chair you feel good sitting in since it is all unique pieces of furniture.

Seated upstairs so felt bad the waitress had to go up and down many many times. The empanadas were awful. I am being extremely honest. It seemed as if they were pre frozen and lacked flavor and filling. We were so surprised at the quality and price. I also had the shnitzel and it had no seasoning and was so bland. With a sad excuse for chimichurri. That seemed haphazardly put together, again lacking any flavor. Was it an off day based on the amount of people raving? Maybe. But also maybe they aren't aware of the better options in Portland so lack the awareness of true potential in this cuisine. I recommend Lechón if you want real chimichurri and empanadas.

Each empanada had a wonderfully flaky, golden crust. The fillings were flavorful and distinct; the only one that didn't quite win us over was the imposter, though that's probably just a matter of taste. The papas were crisp and perfectly seasoned too. Service could have been a touch more attentive, especially given the place wasn't too busy, but overall, it's a lovely new addition to the neighborhood -- cozy, tasty, and full of potential.

We've been season ticket holders for several years now and have enjoyed their productions. From…read moremusicals to comedy and drama, the players and crew are enthusiastic, involved, and energetic. Last night we attended their first performance in their new adjunct, The Playhouse, located in the Cedar Hills Crossing Mall, of a short play called "Anybody for Tea?" by C.B Gilford. Done in improve style, the cast was, according the introduction, given scripts and some time with the director before the presentation, but they'd not met each other and had no idea who was in other roles or how it was going to play out. We recognized several of the actors from previous productions, including the play's 'coach,' the always talented, Les Ico. The only down-side was a bench that broke during seating, but the folks looked to be fine and the bench was quickly replaced by chairs. I hope they do more of these smaller productions along with their main stage plays. We'd definitely attend. It was great fun and the Peachwave just down the mall has a non-dairy frozen dessert offering that's pineapple and not vanilla.

My daughter took the trails lessons here recently and she loves it! Miss Claire and Miss Michael…read morewho are teaching ballet class are both really professional and deliciated themself to teach. The dancers in the class are really sweet and friendly to new student. Miss Brook and Miss Bethany are very nice too. Unfortunately we can not join this year due to calendar conflict, but I want to share the great experience with people who don't know this place.

My daughter attended ballet classes here for 3 semesters, from summer 2019 to winter 2020. We had…read morethe best experience. Everything is managed well. The classes were great fun. Especially in winter 2020, when classes went online, they tried to make it the smoothest transition. They went above and beyond in still working on an year-end performance and giving kids a chance to have a red carpet experience still, one kid at a time, in a totally socially distanced manner. I was very touched by their efforts.

What a great little venue!!! What is most immediately striking about Cohoe is how small and…read moreintimate it is! The "stage" is the floor level, and the few levels of seating are very nicely graduated, so if you don't get a front-row seat, you'll not have any problem seeing over the person in front of you. The sound system is adequate, although only really audible from the right side as you're facing the stage. There is lots of seating in the lobby, so you can sit while you're waiting for the theater proper to open up. Parking is real pain in the neck, though, and you're probably best off parking at the paid lot on 20th and Pettygrove and walking to the venue. Don't expect a full bar or concession stand, but the production may have their own concessions for sale. Definitely worth a visit!
