I broke both sides of my ankle and sprained one of the ligaments holding my tibia and fibula together during a soccer game. I had to get a plate, over 10 screws, a pin, and two tight rope cable wires holding my bones together. I was in a splint for 10 days before surgery,then another splint for 2 weeks after surgery, then a cast for 4 weeks, and then after that, a walking boot for 6 more weeks. I basically forgot/couldn't walk without keeping my ankle in a 90 degree angle, and surely couldn't do anything but walking...unless it was limping. Once I got out of my boot and was looking for a place for therapy I didn't have much say my mom did it herself and she chose Elite Care. So my first appointment comes along and I'm like dangit mom, why couldn't we go somewhere big so it's not awkward! But if from that point we decided to go somewhere else, knowing what I know now, I would have regretted it completely! Rosie makes it so fun and she's so nice and sweet and funny, and same with her assistant Rachel! It was the best choice ever and I can run now!!!! It's definitely a great option to be considered, especially if you're an athlete because Rosie used to be an athletic trainer so she will get you recovered and on the way to getting back in shape!
