Well Im happy to say I won my bet, and having to wake up at 3:30in the morning to make the morning boot camp (I live in the LBC) was not as bad as I thought I actually had energy. I even joined their running club and was up to Five Miles!! At one point I got really busy with work and I had already won the bet so I stopped going, and they called me to motivate me to continue to go (I had paid through two months). I went back until i went on vacation, twisted my ankle and got a new job in west L.A. Sadly I cant go to the Boot Camp anymore =( They are super friendly, encouraging and best of all higly affordable compared to all other boot camps I looked at. Oh try to do the boot camps with julia (she nice), Mario is a hard ass and wont let you get away with anything, but he always end with these inspirational little talks. Theyre both great.

I've been with Suicide Boxing since 2010 but due to an accident in 2016 I was sidelined and gained 50 pounds. I was able to return to Suicide Boxing in January 2017 and needed to shed this excess weight. Diego put me on a plan where I had to lose 1-pound per week and weigh in every Monday. The stipulation was if I didn't lose 1-pound a week I owed him 100 burpees or 100 squats. Yes, I owed him a few times :-). I have really struggled with exercise ever since I suffered a serious back injury years ago. As time passed I have tried a few different trainers over the years at various gyms but the end result has always been me getting reinjured and discouraged again. It had gotten to the point where I was afraid to exercise! However, I know I have to exercise to get better and so tried one more time with Savannah. I can't tell you how pleased I am that I did! (Although I will try! :) Savannah always comes prepared with a new and interesting work out that is custom made for me and my injury. She incorporates exercises that help strengthen the muscles that need strengthening and avoids the exercises that would hurt me. Beyond being prepared she is also flexible in the moment. If I am having trouble with one particular movement she can adapt it on the fly so that it still challenges me but matches my skill/ability level. If absolutely necessary she can even switch exercises. Over the past few months I have found myself dreading exercise less and less and even looking forward to the sessions I have with Savannah. Besides being knowledgeable and prepared she's just fun to be around too! My only hesitation in writing this review is that, selfishly, I want to keep Savanna a secret and make sure she doesn't get too busy to work out with me! However, I know how much pain and suffering I have gone through to find a trainer that works for me. If I can save anybody else even some of that pain I know it is the right thing to do. He presented our school with a fundraising idea, a $20, 5k in Sylmar to promote health. He offered great prizes to the first, five students who got 20 paid sponsors. The sponsors could run the 5k or enter into a drawing and skip the event. A little over a week before the event, it rained and he postponed the event for a month, listing weather as the reason, even though no more rain was in the forecast. Two days after he added 2 more schools to the event, obviously to pull in more money. A lot of people that I signed up couldn't make the new date, myself included as I had a prior engagement. TWO DAYS before the event, he canceled it, sighting lack of participation. This was the 4th of April, he stated, money will start to be refunded the next week and prizes will still be awarded to the 5 kids who turned in the money. If, we were told, the money was not returned by April 30th, to email him. The 30th came and went, no refund. Calls and emails have been made by myself, the school, teachers, other parents and he has not responded at all. Not one word. Now we have family and friends who are expecting a refund, kids who are disappointed because they worked to get the donations in order to be part of the group who would get the almost too good to be true prizes and us the parents, fighting to get refunds and an explanation. IEA, rather, Keith is a joke, they are unprofessional, thieves and just all around cons. Stay away from them. He burned more than 100 people just from our school alone, I don't know how many he ripped off in the other two schools or the fundraiser for an apparent cancer patient. He has had his chance to eat crow and redeem himself but instead he hides behind voicemail and email.
