They have a big focus area for free weights with lots of barbells to get the squats going. But also a cardio section, all the necessary machines and some stretching areas.They also have lots of different classes for the one who needs some extra pushing. In the reception they have a "Squeezed up" bar where you can order freshly made proteinshakes and some light food. As many places, you should avoid peak hours around 5-7pm if you dont wanna fight for your right. This is a trendier gym where most ppl done training to a religion, but not yet gone to far. Which means you probably wont encounter a lot of "the great white" guys here. So if that sounds like a fit, ass to the grass, and get the pump going!

Their master trainer Tony used to work in London before becoming the first trainer in Sweden who also trains other trainers. Upbeat personality, hard classes but time passes fast and before you know it, is over. Warning: Megaformer is addictive.. once you're in it you need to go a few times a week to get that burn!

Gumse gym gets 5 stars for all of these criteria. They had CrossFit, strongman, powerlifting, bodybuilding, and everyday gym-goer equipment. They had a room for posing classes and whatnot, as well as other offerings such as massage therapy. It was such a pleasure to meet the owner, Mikael Gumse, a successful Swedish bodybuilder who may appear intimidating on the outside with his roadmap forearm veins, but is in reality a genuinely humble and generous person. If I lived in the Kista area or even in the Stockholm area, I would make myself a member of Gumse gym and be a regular. It was too bad I only had one night to train there.

As in they look like someone who knows what they are doing and it shows in their body's. Not a huge gym, but bigger than many here in Stockholm. You can park right outside the doors, and get right in fairly quickly. 4 stars, not 5. The floors in the gym classes seem to always be dirty. Have heard this complaint from a few people.

I enjoy the Barre classes and Les Mill's Body Combat classes with Tepp. Only thing is in the classes they play the music way too loud so I wear ear plugs but everyone else seems to love it! Maybe they are all deaf from years of classes there! Wifi is super slow so don't count on it for anything than checking your emails. The 3 hour free parking available is great and I usually always find a spot close to the lifts that go straight up into the gym.
