We felt like family. The owner stopped and chatted with each table for a few minutes after the main course. The B&B was also a pleasure. We had a special need and the owner was more than happy to accommodate us. The room was cozy and had a couple of easy chairs that you could watch TV from. There was also a couple of bags of snacks and a fridge stocked with sodas and water, all complimentary. If you love animals, there is a resident cat who makes his way along the outside porch as an ambassador to all the guests. There are also some donkeys and horses on property who love to get their heads scratched.

The building looked a bit rugged and rustic from the outside, very country life-like and the perfect look and theme for this beautiful wedding. The original plan was to have an outside wedding ceremony, then bring it inside for the reception but weather did not cooperate and all was done inside. It was all truly beautifully decorated and it all worked out great. The kitchen area was perfect to display and serve food. A mini liquor bar and sitting area was directly to the right and connected with the building, making it easier for guests to step out and beverages. Our room was perfect for the occasion, the beds were comfy and the pillows were great. I did request extra pillows and it was no problem retrieving them from the front desk. We took advantage of their free breakfast as we traveled with younger kids. They had varieties that satisfied everyone's needs. The hotel was less than 10 minutes from the wedding venue and several restaurants. All in all, I was very pleased with our stay and experience. Several days after making it home I did notice a charge that cleared from the hotel. Our stay was free, as we used our IHG membership points but did have to leave a credit card on record for a room deposit. I reached out via email and it was all cleared and charged reverse. I truly appreciated the assistance and customer service received.
