My husband and I worked with Paola and her team to provide photography and videography for our wedding during August 2017. Paola was kind & flexible from the start, meeting us at a coffee shop in our neighborhood for an initial consultation. Upon meeting, we instantly felt at ease. She took time to learn about us as a couple and to our delight, worked with us to customize a package of photographers and videographers to fit our needs and budget. After seeing Paola's work, we were thrilled to learn that she would be our primary photographer for our wedding. We found this to be a fabulous perk of working with a smaller boutique studio. Paola and her team did an excellent job on the day of our wedding. They were all friendly and made our wedding party feel very comfortable. They did an amazing job capturing the important moments without being noticeable or "in the way." Paola has a way about her that could put the most anxious bride at ease! She was always one step ahead with her quick thinking, suggesting creative and fun poses, as well as beautiful locations for our "first look" and group shots before the wedding. Several members of our wedding party, friends, and family mentioned how much they liked Paola and the energy that she brought to our event. We were also impressed to see her positive & creative energy last all day and night! Last but certainly not least, Paola and her team take beautiful photos and create lovely videos. They do an excellent job of using light and focus to highlight important details within different shots. They also pieced together our highlight video in a meaningful way that told a story about our relationship and brought together different elements of our special day. It was evident that Paola understood who we were as a couple and captured our day perfectly. As we watched our highlight video it almost felt as if she had read my mind! Every beautiful detail of our story can be told, remembered, and cherished for the rest of our lives. We have Paola and her team to thank for that.

She is a master at her craft and her passion and joy is contagious. Upon first meeting her, my now husband and I completely clicked with her. She was funny, easy to work with, kind and on top of that she is CRAZY talented. She doesn't do this as a hobby, she is a professional. It shows. She has been doing this for many years and she is constantly perfecting her work, learning new techniques and getting incredible shots every. single. time. We first did our engagement pictures with her. She had amazing and unexpected places in downtown Chicago that had breathtaking views that were not jammed with people. We used the engagement photos for some displays at the wedding and we received numerous compliments on how high quality and professional they were. On the wedding day, Renae absolutely crushed it. She was organized, prepared, fast but effective. She blended right in with the group and worked so hard. People shouldn't take photographers for granted because they WORK their butt off! She had wonderful ideas, kept us on schedule but also made it very fun. Its only been a couple weeks and we are already getting sneak peeks of photos from the wedding. We have about 6-7 of them and we are blown away. We are overjoyed that we get to keep these wonderfully captured moments of our wedding for the rest of our lives! We worked with numerous highly recommended vendors and they were all amazed by her photos. These are people that see wedding photos all the time! We are so so so happy with our decision to hire Renae, her talent, execution, personality and passion cannot be touched.

I wanted warm, bright, candid, photos with an edgy urban feel all at the same time. Alain and his partner Sonce delivered beyond our expectations, and to say I'm obsessed with our pictures is an understatement! We decided to have Alain shoot our engagement pics first, which was the perfect warm up for my camera-shy husband. He got comfortable in front of the camera and more importantly familiar with Alain, which I now know translates into how natural you look in pictures. On wedding day, we had so much fun with Alain and Sonce...it didn't feel like we had "photographers following us around all day", but more like friends capturing all the special moments and making us laugh the whole way through. Alain is an expert with natural lighting, and our pictures with the sun setting over our venue, family, and friends are some of my favorites. I was extra thankful to receive a healthy dose of previews shortly after the wedding, which were beautifully edited. The full package was delivered professionally and very well organized for sharing, downloading, and printing. I highly recommend Found Light Studios and the talented Alain for your special day!

We did a photo shoot to give me new head shots for my blog in the morning at a beach condo and the results are beautiful. Then I attended a luncheon with her while she seamlessly switched back and forth between participant and photographer. I didn't even notice the many shots she was taking to make sure we had many beautiful memories. After our luncheon, she did a few additional photo shoots for the other participants there capturing the beauty of a commonly passed garden wall. I was so impressed by her professional demeanor switching back and forth between subjects, backgrounds, scenery and even her role in the event. I would call her unflappable because she's up for anything and takes it all in stride with a big smile on her face - despite being behind the camera. She is easy to work with and so warm.
