One of the sinks in our apartment was clogged for the whole duration of our stay (before I even got to the apartment), and I let the landlord know immediately, but he didn't do anything about it. I even bought a cleaning solution that I hoped would fix the problem, but it did not. Clearly the problem is not hair or other things in the sink (I believe it was built in a bad way and needs to be fixed). There was another sink in the apartment that thankfully was at least functional, but that didn't stop the landlord from complaining about the faucet (which was broken when I arrived) when we were moving out.
In a building with nine apartments there is only ONE washing machine and ONE drying machine. As you can imagine, this meant that the machines were often too busy to be used, even when the apartments weren't all inhabited by tenants, because the cleaning ladies and the landlord were washing clothes and linens all the time. It's understandable that the landlord and cleaning ladies would need access to the machines from time to time, but for such frequent usage, there should be at least 2 of each type of machine to avoid such long wait times.
One of the cleaning ladies took it upon herself to throw away my girlfriend's shampoo and shower gel on multiple occasions, forcing her to buy new ones even though there was product left in the bottles. It's still unclear why she felt the need to touch her belongings.
Beyond throwing out toiletries, the cleaning ladies and landlord may also remove your laundry from the drying machine while it is still running. There were multiple times where they took out sheets from the drying machine (ones that we needed for the night!) and left them out to dry by themselves. I don't understand the logic, and it makes us uncomfortable that they touch people's clothes and sheets without asking.
The biggest problem is with the landlord, he is not professional. I do not recommend this place.
