I ended up having to return the FOBs I bought. Greg was great trying to help me. He suggested I check the fuses so found out through my mechanic that the fuse to operate FOBs & operate the alternator was missing. Great job! He is experienced enough to know to start looking at fuses first for the problem. Can't thank him enough bc he kept me from having to buy a new alternator that the dealership said was bad. We worked out details and the technician was at my house with 15 minutes of us discussing the job. He wore a mask, which I appreciated and he got right to work. It was clear he had lots of experience and knew what he was doing. The problem was not an easy fix (something broke inside the cylinder) and he was in and out of the hot weather until the problem was identified and repaired.
