We chose them because they're a national franchise, and we felt more comfortable working with a company that has established products, training, and manufacturer support. We ended up purchasing 12 blinds, 3 roller shades, and 2 motorized roller shades. The entire experience was excellent. Anna handled the sales and measuring process. We had quite a few questions before moving forward, especially regarding warranties, motorized shades, and smart-home integration. To her credit, if she didn't know an answer, she found it. She reached out to manufacturers and followed up with us rather than guessing. The biggest surprise was how well the motorized shades work. They integrate seamlessly with Google Home through the Smart Home Collection app. We can control them through the app, through Google Home, or by voice command. Unlike some smart-home products that only offer open and close functions, these shades can be set to specific positions. We routinely tell Google to open them 10%, 25%, or 50%, and it works exactly as expected. The included hub was also impressive. Ours is installed upstairs while the motorized shades are downstairs, yet communication has been flawless despite the distance and multiple walls and floors between them. The setup process was simple, and the system has been very reliable. Installation was completed by Mike, who was professional, efficient, and clearly experienced. Everything was installed correctly, he cleaned up afterward, and took the time to ensure everything was working properly before leaving. The finished product looks fantastic. We specifically selected the smooth white blinds rather than faux-wood textured blinds because they're easier to keep clean, and we're very happy with that choice. Overall, we're extremely pleased with both the products and the service we received. If you're considering motorized shades or looking for a smart-home-compatible window treatment solution, Budget Blinds delivered exactly what they promised. We would absolutely use them again.
