Stayed at this hotel with a tour group for only one night, wish it was longer. Hotel was built in…read more1970 with renovations in 2000. Located north of Taormina. With amazing view of the Saint Alessio Bay. Beach access with a private area just for hotel guests. Also a beautiful old castle sitting on a cliff. My room was a good size, two twin beds. Air conditioning was in full force because of how hot the weather was. Free Wi-Fi and very easy to access. There was a balcony in my room with a vie of the beach. There's a sun Terrance where we all enjoyed drinks. Dining area was small but fine. Food was average and staff was friendly.

This hotel was built with a great vision. It is not quite living up to that vision but it is…read morenonetheless a fun place to stay with largely helpful staff. Pros: location (10 minutes from Taormina by car and so more restful), sea platform, comfortable beds, swimming pools, nearby beaches and Godfather sets. Cons: dining room (expensive and not great), wobbly infrastructure (eg air con), overall needs better upkeep. We much enjoyed our time there and wanted to thank Marylena at reception in particular for her welcome and great advice.
