As one that rarely gets entangled with the law, finding myself in a "post Friendsgiving-accident…read moreturned pending-DUi-scenario" left me iNSTANTLY intimidated, scared, perplexed, and in-shock, with mounting dread and no one to turn to. Jonathan Schwab was my first call and, iMMEDiATELY, I was able to get into his office to assess the situation and discuss the matters, possibilities and options of my new reality at hand. Luckily for me, my budget and Jon's expertise were able to join forces to become OUR scenario. Jon and his office's calm and competent capabilities were able to lead my inexperienced self through the entire legal process - while also providing much needed gravity and an undeniable sense of support along the way. Suggestions and strategies were ALWAYS paired with perspective and insight. No phone call, email, question or text ever went unanswered. And when it comes to communication, cooperation and having that firm understanding that we are all on the same team with the same mission and the same plan, Jon and his team were beyond remarkable!!! We were able to strive toward a conclusion which I found to be beyond fair and left me 110% satisfied, and in a window of time that was super-timely, yet still allowed for some helpful common sense strategies to be applied to my case. I whole-heartedly recommend Jonathan Schwab and his team! Jon is also a Husband, Father and family man. He has a natural Heart and passion for people and service that extend beyond his personal life and that he chooses to lean into within his professional dealings as well.

When my dad's girlfriend forged his will after his passing, I had a nearly impossible time finding…read morea lawyer to take the case. I had handwriting evidence (the alleged will signature vs his signature from divorce papers) and even had it analyzed by a handwriting expert who reported it could not have been the same person. Even armed with all this, and the fact that the will witnesses were the girlfriend's family members, lawyers were not willing to help me out. Luckily, I found Stamper Rubens. They heard me out and were willing to dig in and do a little work to see what was up (for a fee of course, but that was no problem). Lo and behold, when we confronted the other side with the evidence, she had a sudden change of heart and said I could administrate the will and have the money as the next of kin. This NEVER would have happened if I wouldn't have found such good, willing lawyers. Closing out the estate took over a year, largely because the girlfriend dragged it out every step of the way when paperwork was required. Kyle Nolte handled this aspect of the case and was very knowledgeable and professional, while being able to get the results I was looking for. Once we were ready to progress to closing out the estate, Steven Anderson took over the case. He was AWESOME. Very responsive, which is important to me because I am out of state. I took off one star because Kyle had been pretty hard to get ahold of at times (3 emails (one a week) ) to get a reply? Seemed excessive to me and it was a little frustrating. Still, bottom line is that we successfully challenged the will and closed the estate. I cannot express my gratitude enough to these guys for helping me at a painful time with a difficult situation. One more thing - they are very fair in the billing. I have worked with lawyers who charge you for the time it takes to send you an invoice! Not the case with these folks. Charges were very fair.

My wife and I had been talking about getting our will done for years. This year was the year we got…read moreit done, and Tyler with McNeice Wheeler was fantastic. We scheduled a phone call with him due to COVID and was patient as we worked out the three way calling between my office, his office, and my wife at home. He gave a high level overview of the process and conversation we were going to have, then filled in some of the details, and then walked us through each step asking us questions about what we wanted and what our goals were. We had a less than typical case and he recognized that a traditional will was not the best option and helped us set up a trust. He asked lots of questions and allowed us to as well. It was a very collaborative process. He had the documents drafted and sent to us quickly. Due to an error on our end, we didn't realize we had them for a few days, but when we realized it, we reviewed the drafts and were happily surprised at the small details included that we had never thought of. He was patient with our (mostly mine) several emails asking questions and requesting clarification and answering hypotheticals. Once we were satisfied, we scheduled a convenient time for us to go in and sign. They had everything ready and laid out in the conference room with the necessary witnesses and notary (all socially distanced of course!) and made it super easy to pop in, sign, and continue with the rest of our errands that day. If you need your estate planning done, or any legal support, McNeice Wheeler deserves your attention.
