The clothes looked cute, and the door was open, but it looked dark inside. The associate at the door saw us and said she was closing because sales were slow; but she'd stay open if we wanted to come in. The store is full of cute, trendy clothes like the Free People brand. Some things were kind of pricey, but there are many markdowns and sale racks all over the store. There's also an upstairs with shoes and purses. We found several cute things and the woman who was working was very patient with us, even very friendly. No one else came in while we were there. I'm glad we found a few things to buy.

So since I am new to the Upstate area, having moved in from Manhattan, I called this shop and spoke with a gentleman who answered the phone. He was rude, impatient, and had no interest in finding out whether they carried certain brands of lingerie. Instead, he suggested that I drive to his shop from Greenville and look for myself. I am unsure what was wrong with this gentleman, but it would seem that he is completely clueless about customer service and has a snobby air about him to boot. Given the fact that I am a well known photographer whose work appears in Vogue magazine, I have not experienced this abysmal customer service directed toward me before from a lingerie shop. Usually, I am treated with respect and the sales staff falls all over themselves to assist me any way they can. Needless to say, this gentleman needs to be fired, and if he is the owner he needs to retire asap. Nobody deserves to be treated like shit, and those who treat others like shit, are shit.
