May 2026 Review Ella and Analee at the front are by far the…read morefriendliest and most attentive of the service staff. Both are always very professional, cool, and even remembered me by name in less than a week. Joseph, Joel, Savannah, Carmella, and Minor are also especially welcoming. There's a supportive, regular morning crowd that migrated here from the other EOS locations which makes me want to come every day. The resistance training amenities are the best out of any gym I've been to. A huge lane of power racks with bumper plates, big turf area, tons of machines (which are almost all in working order), 2 long walls of dumbbell racks, 2 additional smaller DB racks, several cable pulley stations and several functional fitness areas with kettlebells and recovery equipment. There's even a substantial outdoor section with another row of dumbbells, a dozen machines, pulley station, power rack, Olympic platform, tire flip, and more. Less cardio equipment than other gyms, but they tend to get fixed very quickly and I've still been able to get on something even during peak hours. Weak Points: The locker room experience has improved in the couple months, but would still benefit from increased signage discouraging photography, loitering on phones, and placing items in lockers without locking them up. The locker room is uniquely small and awkwardly designed, and thus has little margin for error before other people's lack of etiquette gets frustrating. Also annoyed as when I initially signed up on the basic tier at another location back in 2019, I was offered and had access to the aquatic area and group classes for years. Some time later, without receiving any advance notification, now I apparently need to upgrade to use them? If your business necessitates adjusting the pricing and services, that's fine...but the people who bought in earlier really should be 'grandfathered in' rather than having 'the rug swept from under them'. Suddenly being made out of nowhere to pay 3X the monthly fee is ridiculous. Some of the other offerings to entice you to pay so much money almost certainly come with upsells, or are just gimmicks, like the superfluous computerized AI machines. (What is this, Drago's training montage from Rocky IV?) Overall: 4 stars for the good to excellent staff, well-equipped facility, and good value for the price. This is my happy 'third place' when not at work or home, and I'd love to give it a 5. But, the locker rooms still need to be engineered better and it's very 'bad form' when a company revokes access to amenities they previously offered upon signing the contract.

They will sit you down pressure you into signing up for 2 times a week for 100 dollars a session, 100 a session once a week. 50 session once a week. Once every two weeks, once a month, and when you think OK once a month to track my progress and read the agreement and see it says can cancel at anytime time, then charge you every two week unlike your agreement. They will schedule you and cancel and still charge you. You can call and cancel just like the salesman MIKE said but the third party will tell you that it's a SIX MONTH CONTRACT, even though it's states you can cancel anytime. When you call to talk to someone because you are out of town they are toooo busy to answer the call. 1st workout was canceled and they charged me. They then scheduled me two weeks later and charged me again. I called and Mike was too busy so they relayed the message to Bryan to cancel and I've been charged a third time. Can't talk to anyone! You are a joke!!! I will be stoping by the desk anytime I see a customer being pitched and sharing my experience with these dishonest sleazy salesman because most people don't check yelp first. As I have seen I'm not the only one screwed over and lied to.

But, the sirens of my couch have…read morekept me hostage for too many years and my core strength and cardio have whittled away and has been replaced by an oversized girth at the mid-section. A long-time friend when we both met doing triathlons recommended The Gym and I had met Rob several years ago at his old location. Super personable guy and professional. You can tell Rob has good business acumen, he is not just your stereotypical gym rat. I have been a member of LVAC for many years but I prepay for the year and I might go only during the blue moon. Great gym for the money but not my scene. My enlightened conscious knew I need to get moving and my friend recommended I look into their group training sessions. Not in denial, I knew my fitness level was on par with a pet rock but I met with Rob and he reassured me the Body Burn group classes are strictly at your own pace. Tonight I had my first class with Lindsay and I am so grateful for her gentle but encouraging tutelage. I was the only person and so the hands-on beginner class was perfect. I know enough how body form is critical in creating new habits and Lindsay has a well-trained eye (but, not a critical eye) to ensure I was not doing anything that would damage my body. She also intuitively made some workout adjustments allowing me to still achieve the results but without the flexibility. All I can say is that for someone old and slow like me or for the super-studly, Rob has put together a beautiful gym with friendly people. Guess what? No one is wearing perfume here and trying to get the Friday night hookup either. I highly recommend The Gym and so stoked to be waving to those sirens of the couch. Try one of Lindsay's classes as well.

You mentioned that I initially received a low membership due to a "nurse subsidization" program…read more Can you elaborate on what that exactly is? Yes, whenever I renewed you always stated "I like to take care of my nurses" and would claim to take off some money from the "initial" price you gave me. However, you never mentioned anything about a specific "subsidization program." In fact, the "discounted price" you gave me was actually the same price that all the other members paid. All of the members talk to each other and we are all honest about how much we paid for our memberships. If there is a subsidized program, wouldn't I have to upload documentation proving that I'm a nurse or sign some type of paperwork? Do you have any type of documentation from the organization/government to support that this nurse subsidization program exists? You basically lied to me about giving me a "nurse discount." You also mentioned a maintenance team. Who is on said maintenance team? None of the members here have ever seen a maintenance "team" there. Another discount you mentioned was one for me training with Burton. Last year I actually did not train with Burton. I stopped training with Burton in 2024 and in 2025. Another lie I once caught you in was from the year prior. I asked about the reason for the membership price increase and you stated it was to increase the staff's wages. Well, I talked to all of the staff and none of them knew anything about a wage increase. You have told multiple lies and I just kind of brushed it off and ignored it up until this point. You continuously lie to the staff and members, which isn't very smart in this small gym environment considering that everyone is friends.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this gym and the value that I receive from my membership…read more Having been a member of several other Vegas area gyms over the last 18 years, I am able to find the same or greater diversity of (much higher quality & brand new) equipment and free weights. There is also a separate, ample space & endless set of accessories for stretching and core training. I have yet to observe a single machine be down for repair more than a day or two, and I have noticed that Jeff has continued to listen and look for opportunities to build out the gym further. Jeff has a well-vetted, core team that consistently greets members in a friendly and professional manner. You won't find these folks planting themselves behind the desk or in an office, talking endlessly on the phone, or chatting up their favorite guests. These folks are always on the move -- walking the floor, cleaning/picking up, asking how you're getting along. Jeff's team keeps the place humming and nearly spotless -- you won't find dust bunnies under or inside the equipment, spills on the floor, dirty bathrooms, etc. I appreciate that the few rules that members are asked to agree/sign are enforced -- e.g., sign/swipe-in, register your guests, wipe up after yourself, rack your weights, etc. The members that I have observed range from the novice to the most serious body builders. All seem to quietly go about their workout while being courteous and respectful of one another. This is not a meat market to hustle your next date nor a place you'll find teenagers taking endless selfies. Best of all, Jeff accomplishes all this at a price point that is quite fair for the experience that he/his team deliver every day.
