I represent a small HOA in Scottsdale, and we have been researching the potential to outsource our…read morebookkeeping. We have searched via asking friends, industry contacts, and via YELP. Several prospects were not a good fit, or just plain non-starters. In the end, we settled on two potential prospects that really stood out. I'm leaving an appropriately good review for both. Suzanne of Accounting Right is one. What impressed me was her responsiveness, and importantly: 1) Her ability to listen patiently first to fully understand our unique (but still important to us) needs. 2) Her immediate grasp of issues relevant to us, making suggestions in the very early stages; and 3) Her not being reluctant to consider small clients. We are not a large, for-profit enterprise. We need stable, but reliable bookkeeping from someone we can trust. Accounting Right fits that description and I am more than happy to recommend Suzanne to those in similar situations as ours. Very impressed.

She cleaned up my books for 2021 and has spent the past four months verifying and ensuring accuracy as we prep for tax season. She has also prepared end-of-year forms for our employees. Julie's impeccable attention to detail, resourcefulness, communication abilities, professionalism, and knowledge has helped me make informed and confident decisions. She gives me personalized business attention, and we meet regularly to check in and set goals. She is not only an accountant but someone who cares about your overall business vision and helping you attain them. I often leave meetings with her feeling grateful and assured that I chose the right person to help me grow my business. I own a mental health group practice, and I am often busy managing our staff and clients and need someone to rely on for the accounting side of things. Julie has been reliable and consistent with everything she does. As a mental therapist, I am extroverted, and Julie is introverted. We work together really well. Her personality is easygoing, calm, and reflective. She makes space for you to lead and does her part to guide and inform you to make sound business decisions. It's a delicate balance, and she does it well. Thank you, Julie!

They no longer return phone calls or emails which makes running a business even more challenging. They provide dates to submit your return info online then extend you anyways despite meeting those deadlines and expect you to pay for the extensions even though you did your part correctly. They've missed some significant deductions the past few years and are generally not very thorough. There is a serious lack of professionalism and duty to their clients.
