A Cali natives perspective .. Coming from LA where skilled barbers are never in short. I was very worried about finding the right barber in the great state of Utah. I originally met Geneva at a different barbershop and took a chance ! I'm quite particular about my hair and can be a nuisance for barbers. First and foremost it was an absolute pleasure speaking and getting to know Geneva. I usually can pick up on and sense the type of person someone is from a conversation and I can honestly say that the one thing that stuck was her authenticity as a person and her passion as a barber. I tried this barber for the first time today, quite enjoyed the experience. They were friendly and very professional.

If you are in Centerville or even Davis county area this is the only place you should go. I have a pretty good size beard and I don't trust anyone else with it. Best barbershop ever! After moving to Utah, it took me a while to find a barber I liked. I had my haircut all along the Wasatch front for about a year before I found Elevate; I'm so glad I didn't settle! Geneva is really good. She knows how to do a good fade and how to take a beard from looking like a crazy prospector to looking perfect. On top of that, she is extremely personable and genuinely nice. I'm moving next month and will be an hour away from Elevate Barbershop but I would happily drive twice as far to get this good of a haircut. This barbershop is absolutely amazing. Geneva takes the time out of her day to make a simple cut look like it took hours. The intricate detail and live put into a haircut, the conversations, and don't forget her opinion for $Free.99:) She is the best barber in the area. Don't let one bad review from a disgruntled employee fool you out of working here or going here. She is an amazing woman who would take the time to go two hours later after close, to get in a customer that got left in the dust by a previous employee, not mentioning any names (review below). She would be an amazing person to work with. She is funny, gorgeous, and so awesome at hair. She's been in the game for over 13 years now and her clients always come back. She put a lot of time and love into this barbershop for it to get ruined by one person. Again, don't let that review fool you. He couldn't even tell her why he left. She was pleasant and acknowledged she was a few minutes behind with her previous appointment. Geneva was patient as we discussed my normal hair cut and what I was considering changing.
