After a little bit of phone tag, I did finally get an appointment set up within the week! They e-mail describing how to get to their parking lot didn't make it through on the first try, so that led to a little more phone tag. The e-mail they send is essential because it really is a bit confusing. You can easily find the building, but getting back to their parking lot threw my head through a loop. Once I parked and made it in the office, I signed in. Only a minute later I was called to the front desk and given a parking pass to display in my car window. Once that was done, I was called back. They gave me plenty of time to look over the paperwork about this particular study before signing the release form. My appointment lasted about an hour and a half - a little bit longer than I'd hoped. However, every one there was super nice and friendly.

They have no TV's for slide shows and if you want music you better have CD's because that is all they have is a CD player! Are you kidding me it's 2021! Would not recommend this place to anyone not even for their pets. Wish we could have everything moved to IRWIN'S!! Oh and to top it all off her Obituary is not even on their website. Before my appointment, I was sent a plethora of pages to fill out as requested and brought them the morning of my appointment. I, like many people, read the fine print. Upon entering, I had to have a photo taken to load internally to help prevent fraud, which I kindly declined. If you have a credit on your account of $5 or less they expect you to write it off. I wrote, "I want any amount refunded". I also had to submit a credit card to keep on file. "Who in their right mind gives anyone a blank check to charge at any time?". I put a line through that and initialed it. Christy handed me another copy of that page and told me I could not write anything in, that I just had to initial it. She was insistent I initial the Workman's Compensation Form. I declined. She said, "Everyone has to initial it". I'm 70 years old, tell me why. The last straw was when I had to give my SS#. Again I was told, everyone gives their SS#. Christy said it was very secure and I'm thinking, computers are hacked every day. I said "I will leave before giving that information", and Christy's response was "Well, it will probably come to that". I wonder how many people don't read the fine print and don't realize what freewill they give businesses. As someone who has been a victim of credit card fraud more than once and identity theft, there are some things that need protection. Dr. Bell may be a very nice man, I wouldn't know as I couldn't get past the office staff. I have never in my 70 years had to have a mug shot taken upon entering a physician's office. I got the feeling the office staff was more concerned about getting their money than caring for people. First impressions are lasting.

I have extensive experience with multiple fertility clinics (military spouse life) and by far his services land way above the rest. If you have the time PLEASE hear my journey, it will be worth it, and you are worth the best, trust me! When I went to my very first fertility clinic, I didn't know much about my infertility issues, let alone IVF. After almost a year of getting no prognosis, infertility reason or solutions I'd had enough. My referring GYN saw me become disheartened and referred me to Dr. Jacob's. She herself had an amazing and successful experience with him and had went on to become a mom of twin boys with his help. I took the offer! From the very beginning I knew I landed in good hands, finally! He presented me with a diagnostic workup that would bypass the frustration of trying to "guess" what's wrong and went straight to "let me find out what's wrong". Within a month or two he identified my cause for infertility: the functionality of one of my fallopian tubes had been compromised in my younger years, so I could only get pregnant with 1 tube. He let us know our options available and allowed us to make our own decisions about the next course of action. My husband and I chose IVF due to my age (39 at the time). Dr. Jacobs is a genius at knowing exactly what to do with your cycle to achieve a pregnancy, on the FIRST try! He has a level of professionalism, intelligence, patience and efficiency that will leave you without any questions about your future, chances and success. He will not sale you hopes and dreams just to make money. He's honest and practical. He tells you what you need to hear not what you wan to hear, rare. Most importantly he does NOT promise you things he cannot deliver.! He'll be the first to tell you your odds, chances and likelihood. He is very humble and more like a family member telling you the truth even if you don't want to hear it. You know you can trust him and that's gold! The entire Staff literally becomes your family and going for visits feels more like visiting family. His office manager Ashley is phenomenal!! We would laugh all the time when I went in, it was such an endearing process with all her positive energy floating around. I really appreciated it! This is SO important as these are the people who have your future family in their hands and who you are spending ALOT of hard earned money with. The entire team treats you delicately and with the greatest care and concern and want to see you win just as much as you, priceless!! Dr. Jacobs tactics were super successful and at 39 I was pregnant with twins and 1 embryo on ice for the future. Unfortunately, our twins came early at 6 months due to incompetent cervix. They were in the NICU for 2 weeks so I was able to actually experience being a mom for the first time in my life and I have Dr. Jacobs to thank for that, even if short. In 2 weeks I will be returning to Dr. Jacobs to start another transfer procedure. I moved to Florida last year (military life) so I'll be flying back and staying at a hotel or friends for the my many appointments ahead. I have been going to a fertility clinic here, in Florida, however, the quality of service is way below what I am accustomed to. I had 2 retrieval cycles with them, the first one getting no eggs at all (WHAT?!?). The second one I just ended (got 20) and am waiting for the final embryo count for day 5 blast (at day 3 there were 6). Me and my husband KNEW we were going to Dr. Jacobs by any means necessary, I don't trust anyone else with my babies! I decided to uproot and have my implantation done with the person who did it first and did it the best, Dr. Jacobs! I would give him 10 stars if I could!

Unfortunately, my granddaughter was recently a patient at Children's Hospital. (Actually, she was…read morein and out over the course of 6 months.) Unfortunate because I don't ever want her to be sick or in pain. But if she had to be in a hospital, I'm so happy it was Children's Hospital. There is a parking garage attached to the hospital with PLENTY of parking. They waive the parking fees for parents and grandparents. When arriving for the first visit, I was issued a badge on a lanyard. This badge had my picture on it as well as my granddaughter's room number. The badge doubled as a pass to get in and out of the parking garage. It was also used to get past doors on the patient floor. After every discharge, I returned the badge or, in cases when I was not present when my granddaughter was discharged, my badge was deactivated. Meaning it would no longer work as a parking pass or to open doors inside the hospital. I LOVE the security!! The people working the desk and issuing these badges were all so very friendly and helpful. There were times when I'm sure I was not as friendly as I should have been because I was so stressed, but they were always friendly and helpful. THANK YOU!!!!! The doctors, nurses, and sitters were all AMAZING! My granddaughter is less than a year old, yet they were able to keep her as comfortable as possible at all times. And the last time she was in, what they were able to accomplish in less than a week is nothing short of a MIRACLE.

Then I called BJC back and they were like oh well heres a receipt because i went a head and paid for it. Then the secondary insurance said they needed an itemized receipt. I contacted BJC and told them and it's been three days and still waiting. 500 dollars to them may not be much, but to me it's a lot. I personally felt they were just lazy, lied about it, and didn't want to mess with a secondary insurance. I hope I never have to use them again. I can tell I'm never going to see that money again even though I'm cover with 2 insurances.
