Incredible practice! I can't say enough great things about this dental office. My son loves it here and it's so impeccable! I wish I could come here myself! 10/10 recommend!

Courtney B.

Dr. Rumac and her team are absolutely exceptional. We were referred to her by our pediatrician and could not have had a more positive or educational experience. We went in for my infant's tongue tie and learned he was also lip tied. They were able to correct it entirely and gave clear guidance on how to manage aftercare. They were wonderful at helping ease my mind when I had concerns about healing and even got us in for a last minute appointment to make sure all was well. After such a great experience with my I brought my daughter in for her first cleaning ever with Melissa and her check up with Dr. Rumac, once again, an exceptional experience. My 2.5 yr old is asking to go back to see them.

Lip Tie before and after

Dr Rumack and the whole staff at Calabasas Pediatric Dentistry were amazing! My newborn was struggling breastfeeding and my lactation consultant recommended a consultation with Dr. Rumack. The office checked my insurance coverage prior to my appointment, and Dr. Rumack came in ON HER DAY OFF to perform the consultation and then procedure to fix my daughters lip and tongue tie. Dr. Rumack was SO good at explaining why it was important to get both fixed and how she will continue to benefit long term from these corrections. I could go on and on about how amazing Dr. Rumack is. I was so impressed with her knowledge and bedside manner for a nervous mom whose baby was having a procedure at 4 weeks old.

I do not recommend Blooming Smiles…read more This was our third visit. Our first appointment was excellent, which is why I recommended this office to several of my mom friends. Unfortunately, this third experience completely changed my opinion. When I arrived, the waiting room was packed with children. It immediately gave the impression that too many patients had been scheduled at the same time. As a parent, that made me question whether the focus is on providing quality, individualized care or simply moving as many patients through the office as possible. When I checked in, I explained to the receptionist that my son had another therapy appointment afterward and that we were on a tight schedule. I was assured we would be seen right away. Fifteen minutes later, we were still waiting, so I went back to the front desk. Instead of apologizing or checking on the status of our appointment, when I said I needed to reschedule no emotion and or apology was given. What was even more concerning was the explanation I received. I was told that the afternoons are "always busy" and that if I didn't want to wait, I should schedule morning appointments instead. That response was unacceptable. If an office knows it consistently runs behind in the afternoons, the solution should be to improve scheduling not expect patients to rearrange their lives around chronic delays. As a working parent, my time matters. My son has multiple therapy appointments each week, and I carefully coordinate my work schedule around them. I believe a 15 minute delay is understandable. Beyond that, patients deserve communication, transparency, and respect for their time. The lack of urgency, empathy, and accountability was incredibly disappointing. Based on this experience, I will not be returning, and I can no longer recommend this office to other families. There are too many excellent pediatric dental practices that respect both their patients' time and the overall experience.

I have been bringing my daughter to Dr Cat for the past 2 years, and her and her staff are tremendous! The dentist can be traumatic for any one, at any ago. For my daughter, Callie, Dr Cat is like a soothing beach breeze. She took a nervous little girl and within minutes had her mouth wide open, with no complaints! I floss my daughters teeth each day, sometimes the results are what you'd expect. No issues with Dr Cat! Callie is so comfortable now, that right when Dr Cat walks into the room, her mouth is already open. She actually said at her last visit that she likes the dentist! Dr Cat goes over everything with me, while also explaining to 3-year Callie, what's up too. I'd be remiss if I didn't include hygienist Ray in this review. That man is amazing with kids! His kindness and friendliness should be a template for many that work in the dental or medical industry. I know I am going overboard, but having taken Callie to a dentist prior to Dr Cat, I know bad. Few other things of note. -- To distract the kids, there is a TV placed in front of them whilst sitting in dental chair, which helps them relax. Callie is a fan of Bluey! -- The view is also beautiful, especially on a pretty day. -- When everything is over, the kids are allowed to pick out a toy or two. It's a nice touch. I feel super fortunate to have found Dr Cat. My daughter loves -- well at least, likes her a lot. I bet your kid will too. :)

They would only allow one parent in the room, so I had to stay in the waiting area. Before my wife was even with our son in the operating room, THE GUY FORCED THE MASK OVER OUR SON'S MOUTH WHILE HE WAS CRYING, AND HELD IT DOWN WHILE HE FOUGHT BACK -- UNTIL HE FELL UNCONSCIOUS. My wife saw it from the hallway while she was running to the room, but when she got there our son was already out. The guy didn't introduced himself, didn't say what we were going to do, or what to expect. Neither did Cat. It was very traumatic for my wife and my son. I was livid. I complained after, and Cat apologized, but that was it. We regret taking my son here for years, from 4-6 years old. We should have left much earlier. They always push for anesthesia or laughing gas, your costs will be higher. We spent thousands of dollars worth of dental work here, and upon going to another dentist, learned that the dental care we received from Cat was not good, and it left my son needing even more work to fix it. For example, they pulled two of his teeth and put in spacers. They didn't want to keep adjusting his spacers which were causing his gums to bleed, so they removed them and said he must be allergic (he is not allergic to metal, it was their care). The new dentist couldn't believe they removed the spacers... this caused his incoming teeth to have no space, and his whole mouth was out of whack because the gaps had closed. We also got several fillings here, most of which broke or fell out; we would need to pay to get new ones. The last one fell out while he was eating, 13 months after getting them in. I called to ask if they could fix it, and they coldly told me, "No, you'll need to pay for new ones because we only cover them for 12-months." After thousands of dollars, tons of work done, they still care 0% about you. Run away from this place.

Smiles For All services children Monday- Sunday but they take adult patients on Thursdays only. So, it can be a little rough getting in appointments for yourself but I've managed to make it work. He usually starts crying as soon as he realizes we're going to the dentist, and in the past, we've had to hold him down just to get through procedures. But seeing how far he has come during our visit last week was such an amazing moment for us. As soon as we got there, the staff remembered that Marcus loves watching Mira and immediately offered to put it on for him. I was honestly so touched and surprised that they remembered! They talked to him calmly, worked at his pace, and adjusted to what he needed. Before we even realized it, they had finished his X-rays and cleaning -- without having to strap him down or hold him down. We only had to hold his hands to keep him from reaching toward his mouth. For our family, that was HUGE progress. Then Dr. Su came in, and as always, she was so gentle and patient with Marcus. She has such a calm, soothing way of talking to kids that really makes a difference. It means so much as a parent when you find a dental office that doesn't just get the job done, but actually knows your child, remembers the little things, and adjusts to their needs. What I saw was you being aggressive and rude, not only to the dentist but also to her staff. It was shocking to hear you name-calling and berating everyone in the office.
