From start to finish this was such a wonderful experience! It has been years since I got a massage and I genuinely need massages on the regular. I had a bad experience at quite a few different places but had not heard of Elements before. While on Groupon I found a really great deal for a two pack of massages here. I love in Beaverton but I do find myself towards the West Linn area quite a bit and it is not that far of a drive if the hours are right. I was genuinely nervous to call because I have an almost PTSD from poor experiences. The person who answered was amazing. You would be surprised at the lack of customer service anymore but this was just perfect. Genuinely they mad me immediately feel welcome and like I was welcome. Then I was so happy with the hours because my ideal is Sunday late day and I could get it! I also was so happy that the intake form could be emailed. For some reason I did not get it or see it but when they called me with a very friendly reminder she mentioned the form reminding me of it but I was heading to a thing. She texted me the link so I got out of my thing and boom, done. I have a performance nearby and decided to grab some sushi right there almost next to Elements. Hysterically, I pulled out of being parked in front of the sushi spot, driving all the way around the building and just was shaking my head realizing what just happened. The front office gals were amazingly sweet and again, its just really nice feeling genuinely welcome. And my massage with Joshua was one of the better massages I have ever had so I plan to repeat that experience every month as part of my self care. Just a touch of house keeping... I have to say how much I adored Joshua checking in with me on pressure throughout and also permission on areas because even though I made it upfront clear I was literally in his hands, it is just nice having someone being mindful. Also, speaking of "touching"... When I was filling out the forms there was an insane amount of things I had to click and sign acknowledging and it is beyond fine BUT I have never seen that level of waivers. Again, it has been YEARS so what in the ever loving crazy are y'all doing to your massage therapists after coming out of your Covid cocoon?? Stop being creepers to these folks! read more

Some of the therapists are very good, but unfortunately, there is a huge turnover rate

CANCER PATIENTS BEWARE! I've had a busy summer season as a musician and needed some work done on my sore back, shoulders and neck. After scheduling an appointment they texted repeatedly asking me to fill out an intake form. One of the questions is whether I have "active cancer". I have a long term incurable form of cancer, so I disclosed it. A few minutes later they called me to say they were unable to keep my original appointment and wanted to reschedule with an "oncology specialized massage therapist". I tried to explain that my cancer has zero impact on the areas of my body in need of massage, but it was like talking to a brick wall. I canceled and will not try scheduling with them again. This feels discriminatory. Why make life even harder for folks dealing with cancer of all things?! read more

I previously did a review because although everyone was very nice, I was disappointed. The manager called me and offered me a massage with another therapist. I went yesterday and Amanda was amazing! It was everything I needed! Afterwards I booked with her again this time for 90 minutes! Thank you Elements for making it right!!! I truly appreciated it. read more

This was such a wonderful experience! I have never had a massage before, and thought that 37 weeks pregnant was a good time to start! Amanda, who is certified in prenatal massages was incredible! She made sure she asked all necessary questions before we started, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Being able to lay on your stomach with their specialized pregnancy pillow was a big plus as well! We (of course) talked about birth and babies for a bit, but for the most part I was relaxing and half falling asleep. The pricing is affordable and comparable to most other spas. I will definitely be back postpartum! :) read more

I'm not even sure what to say. I appreciate the same day appointment however the massage itself was not worth the money. Felt like the therapist had no idea what they were doing. Kept getting pinched between the therapists fingers and the sheet and it hurts. I couldn't relax at all and I'm leaving with a headache. read more

I've been getting massages for well over 5 years now and I've never had a receptionist walk into a massage room without permission. There is something so unsettling about being completely nude, face down on a massage table when they door opens to another unexpected person. When I went up to pay she didn't say a single word to me about it. No apology. Nothing. I won't be back to this location. read more

Frequent cancellations. High staff turnover Asked staff to speak supervisor, lied said there was none Don't use! read more

If you're thinking that you're going to get a full hour or hour and a half or two hour massage, you're sadly mistaken. You may be paying for that time, but they consider five minutes to get undressed and dressed, then five minutes for the therapist to come in and chat and then leave abruptly... and there goes 20 minutes of your time. Plus they argue with you about when you actually got on the table or when they started working on you. Been going to them for several months now and things are not improving. I think it's time to change clinics read more

LOVED my experience at Elements Massage. The staff was very welcoming and you get an instant sense of relaxation once you enter. The staff was also very knowledgeable and was able to answer any of my questions. Kristen was my massuse and she is amazing. She listened to what I was looking for in my massage, any areas that may need more focus, and any areas to avoid. I don't get the chance to get a massage but maybe once or twice a year and this was a real treat! The establishment itself is warm and inviting. Each room is nicely set up and dimly lit. It takes a bit for your eyes to adjust once you enter your massage room but overall it was great. The background music playing was nice and very much felt at ease. In comparison to some other places I can certainly say that this was hands down one of the best massages I have had. Between the quality of masseuses and the overall prices at Elements I would highly recommend coming in. They have monthly memberships as well that do not expire and you can even have a secondary person on your account. It is located in a great area in West Linn right off the freeway and I overheard they are opening one soon in the Pearl District! I will certainly be coming back to Elements when I need my next massage! read more

I am so happy to report that I have found my new massage therapists! I used to be seen at a place in Oregon City, but they no longer see non-medical referrals and I had to find another masseuse. Since June 2018, I have worked with several members of the staff at Elements and found each to be friendly and professional. What has spawned my desire to post a review was the work I have had done by two Level 4 employees - Lexi and Pete. In 2010, I was in a near fatal car wreck. As a result, I am still recovering from injuries sustained in the crash. Today, while working with Pete for the first time, he could tell simply by touch where I was hurting. His knowledge of anatomy, physiology and human motion is impressive. I intend to continue working with Pete as a palliative measure. Happily, I recovered well enough from my crash that I was able to begin participating in crossfit. On the down side, I am sore on a regular basis. This is where Lexi comes in. Her grip strength and technique are the perfect complement to my inflexibility and need for deep tissue massage. In summary, West Linn Elements Massage has all levels of masseuse and I encourage you to give them a try! read more

Great massage! Jude was friendly and made me as comfortable as possible. I would consider returning. Their prices are a bit higher than than what I usually spend, but you leave satisfied. read more

Got a massage after work as I have a very physical job. They called me the night before my appointment and asked to change the time of my appointment they called me three separate times which I don't mind at all as long as there's a reason. My appointment was originally scheduled for 7:45 and I get off work at 7 but sometimes work a few mins after til around 7:15-20 so didn't want to schedule before 7:30 they asked me if I could move it to 7 and I said I could not, they then kept asking and I finally said I get off of work at 7 the absolute earliest I could be there would be 7:30 and they said okay let's stick with the original time. I then arrived at 7:35 as that's ten mins before my appointment. They were shocked as I was apparently late. I went back to get my massage and the room was so cold I was shivering. I had the table warmer on but it was barely heating. My therapist came in and smelt awful of weed and I got a massive headache as that smell doesn't sit well with me. They then didn't listen to me and didn't really do anything for a massage. It was about 40 minutes of a massage. I left with more pain they I came with as it was more jabbing then massaging. I also left super nauseous. I frequent another elements massage and am a member and I love their other locations but this one is not it. I should have just canceled my appointment and gone home early. Honestly shocked at how little I liked this place. read more

I've booked with Melinda many times now (without the membership subscription) and it's been a great experience each time. Booking is easy with the online app, and Melinda is an excellent masseuse. She asks the right questions, pays attention to problem areas and checks in to make sure the pressure is to my liking. She's helped work out kinks in my lower back and neck and shoulders, depending on what I need. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

First visit today. Very good experience! Derek was experienced and attentive. He found problem areas and treated them. His touch was firm but gentle. I could not have gotten a better massage. I scheduled two more appointments with him, one for 90 minutes. I plan to see him twice a month. I am feeling so much better after his work. Front office was courteous and pleasant. So glad I found this place read more

What I enjoyed: - Lots of availability to book an appointment - Front desk lady was courteous and friendly - Practioner (Pete) was friendly What was a little frustrating: - Way too much conversation... I came here to relax in peace and QUIET. Another person who left a review here on Yelp mentioned that she felt rude to simply ignore the conversation, and I would feel even more rude to basically say... "stop talking" - He would stop massaging me to repeatedly touch me to help me understand his demonstrations about how muscles work... I almost stopped him to say "Can you please stop tracing your fingers and poking my muscles and actually massage them?... Clock is ticking" - As most people, his focus on the massage itself lessened as he became more focused on talking - There were plenty of times I questioned if this was truly a "Deep Tissue" massage... I've had many massages from many places, and many times a standard massage has felt deeper/stronger. My girlfriend weighs about 100lbs and is 5' 4" and I've felt much more "revitalized/relieved" of 10 min of deep massaging from her Why I won't be coming back: - Granted I was late (and I understand the time that I was late for was my loss), I did make sure to keep track of the start and stop times. I scheduled a 60 minute session. Session started at 1:20 PM (that's when I put the phone to silent and laid down on the massage table). Session ended at about 1:50 PM. By the time I got up, got dressed and got all of my belongings, I was at the front desk at 1:53 PM. This may seem like no big deal, but from just about anyone I've talked to who gets massages... this is the most annoying aspect and why I won't be coming back... I mean the prices are already pretty steep - I told him exactly what areas I wanted to be focused on: Between the shoulder blades, shoulders and the back of my neck. Yet 70% or more of the massage was focused on my arms. Of all the areas on my body that feel good right now, it ironically isn't the areas I wanted to be worked on. I especially did not like how my neck was stretched with his hand resting on my spine. Honestly the areas I was hoping to alleviate hurt the most now. read more

Derrek is a wonderful massage therapist. Listened to my needs and made the entire experience comfortable. I left feeling so much better. Will definitely be back! read more

My wife and I booked massages here the other day, and we were quite happy with the experience. Though we booked a couples' massage, we were in separate rooms --it's no issue, however, as I prefer massages in silence, and ultimately, we were just looking for a good place with a good massage. My massage therapist was Adam, and he knew what he was doing. We booked under the introductory price (55 minutes for $49) and would have paid double for the quality that we got. We'd be happy to go back. Massages vary greatly depending on the therapist. Maybe we both just lucked-out, but we had a good experience, would recommend this place and will likely go again. read more

Amazing massage last night. Amanda did a terrific job adjusting pressure, finding tension, staying fluid. I've joined the membership program and it had nem money well spent. read more

I am a big fan of this Elements location, and have been getting my massages here on a monthly basis for going on two years now. Regular massage is not only relaxing, but healthy, and Elements makes it easy and reasonable with their Wellness program, through which you come in monthly and get a discount on your massage. I find this Elements friendly and inviting, and have had only one experience that was less than excellent. So come on in, try different therapists, and find a couple that work for you. It's worth it! read more

My massage here was just ok. My and my fiance booked a couples massage. I don't know that I'd really qualify it as a couples massage as you are in separate rooms and the cost is the same as two individuals. Not a huge deal as we were mostly looking for us to each get a massage but something to consider if you're trying to have a more romantic experience. My masseuse talked the entire 80 minutes and not about the massage, but about random stuff. I felt like she was just watching the clock the whole time and going through the motions but not necessarily customizing my massage to the different pain areas I have. Overall the massage itselff was ok but nothing I'd go back for. read more

Staff is very friendly, but my 90 min was more like 65 min, and a little expensive. I was quoted $90 on the phone and charged $105..My massage therapist was good at deep tissue and did great on the rest of my body. but I asked to focus on my neck and she hardly touched it read more

4.5 Stars - Agree w/Valerie! Second visit with Rita, who is wonderful. Love the Tranquility Room for before/after. They also have a 'no-contract' monthly program promotion that can save you significant $$ (another stress reliever!). Good parking, not hard to find, well worth it! read more

Unprofessional front office experience. The person said they were the manager and attacked me until I was in tears. I asked for someone else to help me and she refused, continuing aggressive behavior. Do not go here! read more

I have been here once. I suffer from chronic back and neck pain and the occasional massage is a must. I was a wreck and desperate to get one and called every place I could find, they were all booked out days if not weeks. Finally I called Elements and they got me in the same day, several hours after the call but I was quite happy. The facility, people and massage were all great. As a first timer I got a good discount as well. My only gripe is the price... my next massage would be $30 more (if memory serves me right) than my first visit. They have a membership option, but I don't like committing to stuff like that. It's been quite awhile since and I was hoping they'd offer the first time deal again or something to keep me coming back but they haven't. If I could come back and not pay full price I probably would. I found another massage option that I really like in the meantime. Overall they are awesome and I do recommend Elements. Waiting more than a day in a lot of pain is a dealbreaker for me - note to the 95% of other massage places. Elements was good in this regard, thank you. read more

Beware the contract they make you sign! I called a month ago to cancel my membership after they increased the price and never received their cancellation form. I had to call again and of course they are charging me for another month. I even asked to write my own cancellation letter and you must fill out theirs. Beware they make it as hard as possible to cancel and will continue to charge you! read more

The spa is nice and so was the front receptionist, but was overall disappointed. My 60 minute massage was closer to 50 minutes and the massage wasn't great in how it felt at the time or therapeutically. The massage therapist talked throughout the entire massage and it felt rude to not respond or comment on what was being said so that also stunk. I won't likely return :( read more

Elements is a spa that I have driven past many times but never gone into before, and I was missing out! The spa itself has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere, from right when you walk in the front door to all of the thereapist individual rooms. The front desk lady greeted me with a smile, answered any questions that I had and was very friendly. My massage therapist was Veronica. She was on time and punctual, which means a lot to me! She made sure to ask what I needed and what I was looking for in my massage. Many times during the massage she made sure to ask me if she needed to go over anything again and if the pressure she was using was too much or too little. I also appreciated getting a bottle of water on my way out - especially since you are supposed to keep hydrated after a massage. My experience overall was great! I would recommend it to anyone. read more

I live nearby and wanted to find a regular massage place. I tried everything from Massage Envy to independent masseuses to spas looking for the right balance between quality and price. I'm pretty happy with this Elements. I have tried a few therapists now and they can range from average to very good. My favorite is Kristen, and I now see her monthly, and look forward to a relaxing massage! read more

Looking for a last minute massage is scary and difficult, on Sunday almost impossible. I read over 30 reviews for places all over the city and was excited Massage Elements called me back after a cancellation. Walking in-peaceful-quiet. Greeted by Jude, she was very friendly and asked about me needs. I like my massage deep and she had the perfect balance of deep and relaxing. Rooms are completely sealed and private, which is very calming. I can let my guard down and relax. Jude said she can also work on focus areas, up to 90 min or more on your most painful and tough places. There are some masseuses who are truly gifted in what they do, Jude is fits that bill. The ambiance was professional without being clinical. Surreal spa experience. I loved it so much I bought a gift certificates for my dad. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Please don't go here - we were loyal customers and the therapists were good, but cancelled because of a financial hardship and Elements continued to charge my credit card even after I had faxed and called with my cancellation. After talking to Greg (owner's son) to simply request a refund of the overcharge of $330, he stopped short of name calling but refused to give me a refund of my own money illegally stolen on my credit card - worse than fraud - robbery!
