So far the therapists have been WONDERFUL. Kad, Brook & Halo. They all have their own special strengths & talents. The front desk seems flexible with getting me in and on the occasion that I have to cancel, they are easy to work with. Texting is convenient with them as well. Even the manager seems personable. The therapists knowledge of the body is high level but they do not over-step, they know when to refer you to a chiropractor or another professional. First and foremost, this review is more regarding one specific therapist, rather than the location itself. I USUALLY have an excellent experience here. I scheduled for a two hour massage via their website the night before. I booked with April who I had booked with once previously a long time ago. I didn't care for her demeanor then either but I wrote it off as a fluke and maybe me being oversensitive. Fast forward to today... I check in over 15 minutes early and the receptionist politely relays a request from April to ask me if I would consider reducing my session to a 90 minute instead of the 2 hours that I booked. Reason why? Because she was worried that me getting a 2 hour massage would possibly encroach on the time of her client following me because of the time it takes to transition between clients. WTF?! I replied, "I'd rather not. I requested 2 hours and that's what I'd prefer to receive." The receptionist was 100% understanding and very professional about it. I then remembered my last session with April and decided, "...you know what, I'll just schedule tomorrow with someone else." which I did. The receptionist was extremely polite, professional and very apologetic. I could tell that she was mildly uncomfortable even making the request to begin with. I told her that she should definitely relay my displeasure to April because in my words, "...that sounds like a her problem not a me problem if she can't properly manage her transition time between clients." The receptionist agreed and mentioned that she already intended to let the manager know about the incident. Again, I USUALLY have a great experience at Elements...but I'm 2 for 2 with April for having a less than pleasant experience. I will continue to come to Elements in the valley, but April is definitely a never again...or ANY therapist that requests that I sacrifice time off of a scheduled session due to their own poor time management between clients. Front office is professional and friendly. My massage therapist claims many years of experience. However, I was supposed to have full body and only got neck shoulders. I've never had deep tissue massage where pinching was a thing. Love this place, always get good service. The one suggestion I would have is on your intake forms, or preferences, that you highlight whether you would like to talk or not to talk. Several times I've had a therapist talk to me and become so engaged that I feel like they go on autopilot and forget to address problem areas. The atmosphere is just NOT relaxing. The portable fan was working too loud and no music could be heard. The fan was also pointed at me so I got freaking cold and the oil was cold as well. Massage was not bad. My husband and I had the same gift cards for the same service but for some reason my massage was 10 mins less, and he got to try heating stones and cupping and I have not. I have been seeing the same massage therapist for years but couldn't get into her when I had a knot/spasm. Called this location and was able to get in with a lady (wish I remembered her name). I left feeling 75% better and she gave me a ton of tips to help loosen the area and take care of myself in the process. She was extremely friendly and helpful. My first massage was a great experience, thanks to Elements Massage. Everything went smoothly and I was treated very well. The membership package was mentioned, but there was no pressure to join, which I was afraid there would be. My masseuse, Anna, did a great job and found knots I wasn't aware of as well as helping with the areas I knew were bothersome. I'd recommend her to friends. Masseuse was late. She talked the entire time during the massage...with her hands. I don't mind conversation during a massage normally, but when you talk the whole time and with your hands... you're taking your hands off every other minute to make a gesture. I also believe she tried things on me that she learned from her physical therapist. To top it off the front desk gentleman was not professional at all. Pestered me to try and get a membership for 15+ minutes. After I repeatedly said no not only to rescheduling but to the membership as well, he would ask again, the same question but in 4 different ways/styles. Asked inappropriate personal questions for a receptionist. When you go to get a massage you shouldn't feel pressured into signing up for things, you should feel relaxed. This was the best massage I have ever gotten. I play volleyball collegiately and I have a lot of tight muscles in my back and had recently had a muscle spasm in my neck, and when I told the front desk staff about my injury they offered to do a free cupping sample to see if it would help me out! I tried the cupping massage for the first time, and it is simply amazing! Although, after the message it looks like you were in a battle with a Suction cup wizard, or a small plunger operator. This type of massage, Really works deep into the muscle tissue, Leaving you, Feeling exhausted but in a good way. I have usually never had anything but an amazing experience here. The massages are wonderful and the staff is usually kind and attentive. However- while I was here with my mother quite recently, her massage therapist made an unflattering comment about my appearance (to my mom). Like I said, my own personal experience has been excellent here and I believe the massage I receive warrants a five-star rating but I am unhappy and embarrassed with the idea that a professional thought it necessary to make a comment about the way I look when I was not there. read more

I was very disappointed with my massage! First of all I was called back to my room a few minutes late and by the time I got on the table it was 5:07 and then the therapist didn't come in for a few more minutes. The massage felt very rushed and she just moved her hands way too fast and she was smacking her gum the entire time. Once the massage was over and the therapist left the room I got up and looked at my phone and the time was 5:49. So, obviously I'm extremely upset, I got dressed and went to the front desk to tell them that I was not happy and told them my issue with how long she spent massaging me. They said oh I'm so sorry to hear that, I can offer you an upgrade on your next visit with us. So then I'm even more upset that they made me pay for a 60 minute massage when the therapist didn't even massage me for 40 minutes. I'm traveling to Spokane for work, and was really tense from the travel so decided to get a massage. I've had PLENTY of massages all over and do yoga on a regular basis. Have been a member for awhile, even kept my membership during covid shut down. I recently emailed, Facebook messaged Elements to ask some questions, but got no reply until commented on a post on their FB page. They finally sent me a message on FB messenger then promptly blocked me without giving me a chance to respond. I currently am unable to talk on phone, but they refuse to communicate through email. I simply asked for some information and for a copy of my contract. Elements says they cannot verify my identity through email, like really? Send me the forms that I need which require my signature and compare that to what is on file... is that not a good way to verify my identity? How would they verify my identity on the phone? So, instead of working with their customer who cannot talk on the phone they block their customer? If that does not say "completely unprofessional " I don't know what does. read more
