I was really happy to find a place that was open on Sundays, so I booked a massage at Elements in Mequon to address some specific pain. The first thing I noticed is the lack of parking. Being near a popular lunch spot there was almost nothing available. Beyond that, I was a little early, but unfortunately my massage therapist was running about five minutes behind. Not a big deal for my schedule. We spoke and went over the problem spots and I changed and got on the table. I waited another five or so minutes for the massage therapist to come in. She was thorough and did a good job focusing on the areas I requested. However, the massage ended about 4 minutes before the scheduled time, so after the waiting periods, etc. my massage came out to be 43 minutes long, yet I paid for a 60 minute. I'm torn because the massage itself was good, but I didn't get my moneys worth. read more

Terrible customer service. Apparently, the confirmation emails mean nothing. They'll say you were on a waitlist even though you have a confirmation email. They'll allow you to purchase the gift cards for two hour massages ($218 apiece and I bought two of them), allow you to book it only to call and say they don't actually honor two hour massages. The customer service (Kim - assisted manager) is terrible. She got upset with me and hung up because I pointed out she wasn't being forthcoming when she said I never had an appt. If you can't honor that- fine. If you're staff double booked (which is what the manager ended up stating occurred because of a 'computer glitch') - fine. But, don't lie and make it seem like there was never actually an appt. The manager requested I call her and after saying the computer system was new and full of glitches (which it had bunch of glitches but didn't glitch when I paid for those gift cards conveniently), the therapist I scheduled double booked and that she can't force her staff to do two hour massages- she felt inclined to let me know it was her birthday and she was out to dinner with family and couldn't deal with this now but that I just shouldn't book with them. Why request a call if you, as the manager, aren't in a position to deal with it. She could have advised when she'd call me instead. Just my thinking but I reckon common sense isn't very common. These people are disgusting- they're crooks- and this location will not last I'm sure of it. Their attitudes don't support what a flourishing business should. A place of relaxation has just stressed me out lbvs! Also, they not cheap. I'm sure there are better places to spend your money. read more

Received a lymphatic massage from Thom. I felt very welcome from the time that I walked into the door they were very welcoming. Delilah explained all of the services as well as the cost, I ended up purchasing a monthly membership. Thom Was very professional during my one hour massage and explained what he was doing as he went along needless to say I was thoroughly satisfied and I booked massages up through September. read more

Due to 3 times of poor horrible treatments, I decided to terminate my membership.Although my in office, in person nnotificationto insure I'l not be charge furthe, they charged me and refusing to refun me.Don't allow them auto payment, you are risking your money! They would not honor a gift card my mother gave me in 2018 after I had my second child. Yes, some time has passed but people are busy and the card had no expiration date on it. Thats just really poor customer service and I would not recommend this business to any one. read more

Wow! Extremely disappointed in this place. Bought a gift certificate for a friend and then was told me that a gift card I was given was invalid. They did nothing to rectify the situation or make me feel even remotely satisfied. Basically just blew me off. Truly sorry I gifted my friend a massage there. It will never happen again. To all my Mequon and Oz County friends, be warned. I don't know if the other locations are as shady as this one, but apparently Mequon does this as told by other friends (after the fact) and at least one other review (below.) 10/19/2017 They declined to use my 1 hour massage session certificate that I purchased directly from that location (even thou I was told that certificate will be valid forever...). Recently I woke up sick with traditional cold/flu symptoms on a day for which I had a 9am massage appointment. I called early (8:15 am) to apologize and leave a message that I woke up feverish and sniffling, and I'd like to alert them ASAP that I felt it was best not to expose my therapist, and their other customers, to my virus. I politely added that I'd call back to reschedule. Within 10 minutes I got a call back, and the woman perfunctorily told me (as I sniffled and sneezed) that she would be charging me a $35 late cancellation fee. I balked. "What? I am trying to be considerate of your work environment! Would you rather I come in and spread my germs to you, and your therapist?" She pedantically explained that I confirmed the appointment via text the day before, and "that's why they have that system," as if I didn't understand the concept of confirmation. I listened politely and then responded simply, "I wasn't feeling these symptoms yesterday morning, ma'am. The fact that you'd try to extract $35 out of me when I'm trying to be responsible is really appalling." Instead of backing down and saying, "of course, feel better, etc" she instead said she would "speak to her manager and let HER decide if she'd be charging the $35." Too late. I've already made my decision that your business is not deserving of my membership, if you can't summon basic common sense or decency in such simple situations. Never going back. read more

I will never go back to this location or any elements probably ever again. I've been to a few different locations but this one was the worst. The whole time I had my 90 min massage the guy was coughing. If your sick you should stay home and reschedule clients. That is not only defeating the purpose of the entire massage it's gross and unsanitary! He must have been contagious with whatever he thought he was getting over because two days later I got sick. Now I've been dealing with whatever illness I inhaled during the massage since. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: I could not be happier with the changes I observed at Elements in Mequon during a recent visit for a couples massage. The receptionist was very friendly and eager to help in any way she could, both before and after our session ended. Her kind attitude was a vast improvement from the receptionist during my last visit. The massage therapists greeted my guest and I promptly and were very friendly. Once we were taken to the back, we discussed our individual desires for the massage, which were more than accommodated. I would highly recommend both Felicia and Nicole, and would be happy to return to this location to receive future services. Overall, a vast improvement from my last experience at this location. Happy to see that the owner is aware of customer concerns and seeks to remedy any issue that might arise. Very positive changes all around. read more

Wonderfully friendly personnel, quiet environment and professional massages - I go back always!!

I had a massage with Michelle last night and was a bit dissatisfied when I left. Upon arrival the secretary asks you to fill out a form describing what you're looking for from the experience. It also asks what kind of noise level you'd like. I stated that I would like no discussion except for something pertaining to the actual massage. Michelle proceeded to talk just about the entire 90 minutes while also commenting on different tattoos I have and going into detail about her own. She also commented several times about how she is sick. Coughing and sneezing several times without washing her hands in between. She is a very good masseuse however I am still disappointed that there was so much talking when I was making an attempt to relax.. read more

I got my first massage at Elements last night. I had a Spafinder card that I needed to use. As soon as I walked in, the woman at the front desk greeted me and told me to take a seat. She sat next to me and proceeded to describe the membership packages and deals they had going on. Mind you, this was my first massage at this location. I requested aromatherapy for my "relaxation" massage and Michelle (my massage therapist) left to perform a "ritual" before I was allowed in the room. Once in the massage room, she asked if the massage was full body and I said "yes" noting that I would like attention on my hips, upper back/shoulder blade area, and feet. When Michelle entered to begin the massage, she started at my glutes, which was a bit strange to me. However, what I found most strange was the amount of talking. Throughout the massage, she made several comments about her own life and provided details that I did not need to know. She made comments on tattoos and twisted my arm in different ways to observe the tattoos. There were moments of quiet, but more moments of talking. At one point, she sneezed, did not leave to wash her hands/arms, and proceeded to make a joke about getting rid of a rash before I arrived. She explained that she has allergies, and that sometimes she gets hives and it freaks people out. I work in public health and found the lack of attention to sanitation disturbing. I enjoyed parts of the massage, but they were overshadowed by awkward comments and jokes. I also felt that at times my fat was just being squeezed instead of actual massage. I had marked that my right knee should not be touched due to an injury, but she ignored that request. I also had more pain in my lower back after leaving. When I went to pay, the woman who greeted me when I arrived asked about my experience. I did not provide much feedback because I wanted to leave. When I said that I did not want to schedule another appointment and did not want to sign up for the membership, she seemed disappointed. She read my total and I handed her my gift card, to which she stated, "I wish I had known you had this," and talked about how long it would take to enter. She told me she would run my debit card after she took off the gift card, but that I did not need to wait. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I will continue to get massage services from small businesses who listen to my requests, are professional, and don't make attempts to sell me products. read more

I would not recommend this place. I have been a member for 8 months. The overall experiance is pretty bad. Easy to sign up for membership but have to jump through hoops to unsubscribe. Some of the staff members are absolutely rude. Changing policy without prior notice. Still being automaticly charged even though I have canceled my membership 1.5 month ago. This is a very warm welcoming environment. I joined the once a month club and have absolutely no regrets. I look forward to my monthly massages with Sonny as they are so rejuvenating!
