I've been going to New Life Massage for several months now for deep tissue/therapeutic massage…read moretherapy. My sessions are with Stacy Young, and I very much look forward to my monthly sessions! In terms of Stacy's service, she really helps on several fronts. I have relatively bad arthritis in my neck and shoulders, and I always leave feeling much better with the knots loosened and an overall sense of well-being. Often by the end of each session I'm starting to doze as I'm completely comfortable and at peace. Stacy is very polite, always makes me feel welcome and comfortable, and really knows her trade well! As long as Stacy is here, I plan on being a customer. New Life Massage as a business in general is great as well. I've been to several studios over the years; while most studios are nice in their own way, New Life is especially a nice studio. It's clean, smells nice, is not cramped, and I can tell it is a popular place as I always see other patrons waiting for various services. On this front, I should note that New Life also offers yoga classes. All details aside, I highly recommend!

The instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable and make EVERYONE feel welcome, no matter their skill level. They do a wonderful job of helping their students through each class. When I couldn't do some of the poses, the instructor quickly offered bolster pillows and other tools to "bring the floor up to me" so that I could achieve the pose. I didn't feel singled out or embarrassed by the attention. The prices are affordable and seem to be very competitive with other studios. They also offer reiki and massage and I can't wait to try those services also.

We followed Cara from where she was before because of how great a masseuse she is. Her knowledge and techniques are second to none. I guarantee that you will be pleased with her and telling all your friends! The business has been converted from a single family house to a wonderful massage clinic. The entrance is in the back and takes you into what was a kitchen, but now is the waiting room. Each room in the house is its own space for the masseuse to operate with a client. There is ample parking in the rear of the house. I highly recommend you stop in to see Cara yourself or get a gift certificate like I did to give as a present for Christmas!

For 20 years, this has been a favorite clinic for runners and other athletes, but you don't have to…read morebe an athlete to enjoy the wonderful treatments. What this clinic lacks in ambiance ( not zen cool, more like your grandmother's comfy living room) it makes up for in premium services at very reasonable price. I travel lots, have had massages all over the world, (including a memorable one given by a very burly Hungarian woman in spa in Budapest, who sort of slapped me around while I was wearing a sheet on a cold, metal table in a room full of other local women) and I find myself always comparing the quality of these massages to Westlake Massotherapy's. A nasty habit--Westlake wins every time. This place is clean as a whistle and has several nice touches, like hot packs for your neck, warm booties for your feet and heavy-duty massage tables that go up and down mechanically enabling the therapist to get the best angle for attacking your sore muscles. Doctors prescriptions are accepted. Your appointments will be booked the old fashioned way--written by hand in the big book, but that's okay. You know you aren't paying for some fancy schmancy computer system. Don't be surprised if you have to wait two weeks to get in. Call them sooner than later--before your pain has you walking around like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Oh yeah, the outside of the clinic sort of looks like Grammy's house, so it's easy to miss when driving by. Enjoy and relax!

I arrived and was greeted immediately which was nice. Filled out some about you info and noted I'd like the highest firm massage. The massage I received was a Swedish massage. Not at all what I asked for. I was never asked if the pressure was good. There was no communication at all on what I was looking for. I thought booking and filling out what I wanted on their sheet was enough. I like the pain. I never felt the pain and relief I was looking for. I won't be back and I suggest if you're looking for a deep tissue massage to look elsewhere.

The positives... relaxing environment and excellent massages. Everything was pleasant with the massage experience. Then what was a very pleasant experience tanked. And quickly. After the first massage I attempted to check out and the clerk couldnt locate a matching gift card number. I told her my husband purchased 2 and I had the second one at home. She thought maybe they put the total on the other gift card. She asked me to pay up front and if I could bring back the other card they would credit. I paid and my husband looked up the transaction on his credit card bill. I called Essential Escape and they located the transaction and credited my card for the card balance. I was assured that they got the second card straight in their system. Today we attempted to use the 2nd card. This BS happened again! The front desk girl couldnt locate it and had to call management. I told her the same thing happened last time and they guaranteed they had corrected it. I even wrote down the girls name that i had dealt with. They stated they would research it and we left. Shortly after they called stating they found the transaction but the amount didnt clear on their end. It did however show that it was taken out of my husbands account. The girl then had the nerve to ask us to pay for the massage and they would credit us $50 for our inconvenience. Someone here is running a scam! I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I did the 90 minute Breathe Deep massage and I can't say enough positive things about him and the entire experience. From the moment you walk in, his positive, calming energy prepares you for the amazing experience you are about to have. He is so welcoming and just an all-around genuinely good person. He makes sure you are comfortable beforehand: he lets you select an essential oil and even adjusts the temperature of the room if need be. During the massage, he is SO in tune with your body.
