We loved elements hot tub spa. The first time we went we spent 90 min in the room with the hot tub and the steam shower. We ordered sparkling cider and chocolate and we had a great time. It was very clean, as some one with a suppressed immune system I worry about but it was very clean. We went back a month later for another soak and a couples massage for my boyfriend's birthday and had a great time. Again very clean and my boyfriend said it was one of the best massages he has had in a long time. I would definitely recommend! read more

Honestly....this review comes a year after us having gone to Elements and I STILL reminisce about how much of an amazingly relaxing and enjoyable experience this was! My boyfriend and I decided to come here on our anniversary last year. With how taxing both of our jobs are on ourselves, we opted for the hot tub session, specifically the Water Room. Upon walking in, we were greeted by the staff who were both extremely friendly and polite. They showed us to the spa room, gave us the instructions (shower prior to getting into the hot tub, how to work the shower/steam room, how to work the tub) and let us be for our hour time. Because it was our anniversary, we also requested the sparkling cider and rose petals...I'm so glad we did. It really was the most perfect time and so relaxing. They flash/dim the lights momentarily when you have about ten minutes left, which is a nice touch as we had put our phones away to be in the moment. Elements Hot Tub Spa was exactly what we needed for a girls' spa day!! The facility is inviting, clean and relaxing with light music and soothing background sounds of water flowing. The individual rooms were clean and ready for when we arrived, and check-in was seamless. They provide comfy robes, sandals and towels, and Hot tubs and sauna are kept at an excellent temperature. They also offer complimentary coffee, tea, and water, and plastic bags for wet bathing suits. Highly recommend! Greeted with a warm smile, the staff was lovely and welcoming as they walked me to my 30 min infrared sauna appointment. I had the room to myself and enjoyed the difference between this sauna from the traditional vapor one. What a wonderful and relaxing spa! We went in on NYE for an aromatherapy, hot tub and couples massage and thoroughly enjoyed it all. The Water Room was so relaxing and clean, and the hot tub was huge! The massages were both very well done and we left feeling refreshed. We'll be back for sure! One minor annoyance was that when our time in the Water Room was up (timer went off..), we just stood in the hallway for a bit and were not noticed by the front desk staff who seemed to be in the midst of a personal conversation. read more

We followed it up with a 90-minute couples massage. Both therapists were very professional, asked questions, and were in tune with our discussions from the outset. Would 100% go back. I've been to many a spa in many parts of the world and at many price points. This was hands down the best bang for the buck and a really relaxing and nourishing experience. I was nervous when I arrived at a busy waiting room but everything ran like a well-oiled machine by a warm, friendly, and totally professional staff- which in and of itself is already refreshing! Kudos and high praise to them all. We spent 30 mins in the fire room and 30 mins in the water room which felt perfect for us. The experience ran timely, rooms were super clean (high fives to all the Virgos out there), and robes were lux. It was a terrific girl's day. Amazing!!!!!!! We scheduled a 30 minute couples hot tub and 60 minute massage appointment. The places very well decorated with soothing colors and earthy elements. The front desk people were professional and kind as well. There's a nice sit down lounge, which we didn't have to use, with a library and they offer you a drink before you start your appointment. We started out with relaxing hot tub experience and they allowed us to pick from three different scents for the steam shower. I honestly didn't realize how nice a steam shower would be until that very moment when I walked into the thick cloud of steam and eucalyptus. It truly set the tone. Once showered up we decided to hang out in the hot tub which was nice and bag with plenty of jet options. The water was 105°F, and I'm sure the warm water with massaging jets relaxed our muscles as a great prerequisite for a full body massage. I've had massages before and will admit that this is one of the best ones I've had. are usually feel a little uncomfortable getting on dressed for a massage therapist but for some reason I did not feel this way at this location. They took our aches and pains very seriously and did not neglect to make them feel better throughout the massage. This was one of my husband's first massage is where he actually felt that it was beneficial to his overall well-being and not just stay feel good massage. We both agree it's because the massage therapist seem to be very in tune and knowledgeable about the human body and how it works. Allison and Nina are worth every penny! read more

I frequented the hot tub many time but when the new owners took over, they raised the price from $40 to $60 for 1/2 hour. The water was tepid. The staff said they were not by law allowed to go over 104 degrees but I think it was much lower. For that price and the water temperature, I will just run a hot bath at home. read more

There's a variety of books for purchase as well as little balms and lotions to treat yourself with. We drove from Worcester to go this spa. I was looking for something different and romantic for my boyfriend and I. I booked a 1 hr couples massage and hot tub 1/2 hr at a reasonable price. This is a first for both of us! At arrival we filled out a quick information sheet for the massage and problem areas. The Spirit room had a hot tub that was on, a shower in the room and a sauna. We were showed how to adjust the hot tub and sauna.Already in the room was our bathrobes, towels and flip flops in a large bag that we could also use to transport our clothes. I wish the room had more candles and a little more romantic atmosphere (only having one candle). You are given a 5 min warning by someone flickering the lights so we would know when our time was up in the tub. As we entered the message room we had cold water waiting for us and after before we paid. We were offered to use the bathroom numerous times. Our massage room had a basic decoration theme. You are asked to lay on your belly when laying on the bed. There is a ankle pillow already on the bed- might be difficult for some people if you cannot lay completely on your belly. My boyfriend was like butter after 15 minutes. He loved it and wished we went sooner so do I. We had two women giving the massage and both professional about how much skin they would expose as they massaged. To me that was important considering we were completely naked under the blankets. read more

Booked my husband's and I first ever spa experience about a month ago for his birthday. We were a bit apprehensive, but thought this would be just what we needed. I come here whenever I am in the area and have time. I was lucky enough this time to do a tub AND a massage and I am soooo glad I did. I did a special that they have for a half hour tub and an hour massage. It was nice, cool day and I finally got to use the outdoor tub and it was so lovely. Afterward, I had a refreshing massage by Lance. He was gentle when he needed to be and more aggressive when he needed to be. He went over areas of pain before we started the massage to make sure he got the areas I needed to get therapy. He got areas that were tight and I did not even know where bothering me. I was so mellow when I left, it was hard to walk back to the hotel ... in fact, I think I floated there because I really don't remember how I got there. read more

This review is for a couples massage. The massage therapists were fairly skilled, but we were disappointed by the time allotted given the high price. We arrived on time but the massage therapists were running behind. The massage still ended at the hour mark and when all was said and done, the massage itself was about 45 minutes long. Not worth it for $170 plus $30 tip. I always appreciate when the time to get changed and settled in is factored in by a massage business, leaving a full 60 minutes for the actual massage. We will do our couples massage elsewhere in the future. read more

We have booked the Earth Room and Air Room, both outside hot tubs, and preferred the Air Room because the hot tub has a "bed" you can lounge on. After a long day of staining our deck, the hubby and I were exhausted and sore.. BUT we had a babysitter, so we had to suck it up. Our choices... dinner and a movie? No, we are in no state to comprehend a plot line. Walk through a haunted amusement park? I'm sorry, did you say WALK? As in moving? No.. All of our choices involved physical effort and/or mental effort.. neither of which we could handle. Instead of bailing on our far and few available nights out, I called Elements Hot Tub Spa. The guy on the phone was super nice and helpful, explained the set-up of the business as well as all of the rooms. I let him know we were driving about an hour just to get there, and he was able to get us in at the last minute on a busy Saturday. Getting there was easy. The spa is located minutes from a busy restaurant/shop area of downtown Amherst. Even with the overwhelming college atmosphere around us, Elements is extremely classy, peaceful and inviting.. everything we needed it to be. Our 'Water' Room was stunning... the 6-person hot tub was absolutely incredible. We spent an hour (only $60 for the both of us!) in our private room with our own music choice, running between the bubbling hot tub to the aromatherapy steam shower to the regular shower (to cool off) then back in the hot tub. When it got too warm, we would lay out our towels on beautiful wood siding next to the hot tub and stretch out. It was exactly what we needed.. and really, I can't think of any situation in any person's life where this would NOT be needed! What got us was how clean the business was, and how accommodating the staff was. Suggesting music choices for the room and essential oils for the steam shower when we first got there, to lending me a hairdryer and guiding us to the restaurant area for dinner. Can't wait to go back and try one of their outdoor rooms! (Yes, you read it right.. think your own private hot tub in a walled room with an open sky above you for star gazing.. how perfect would that be with a soft snow fall?!) Oh and they have a ton of spa services (massages, facials, reiki, body treatments) that could make your visit even better :) read more

Elements is great if nothing else, because of the smell and the ambiance. It really exudes relaxation, which is exactly why I went there the other night. I needed a hot tub. When we first went, I thought that an hour would be too short a period of time to spend there, but honestly, it was perfect. Its tubs are a good size, as are the rooms in which the tubs are situated. The tubs offer a variety of features. My only complaint is that I couldn't adjust the temperature (which may be common to hot tub places?); otherwise, it was fantastic. The prices are competitive with other hot tub spas in the area. Also, the late hours (it's open until midnight) are convenient. read more

Loved it! My husband bought me the Sedona package, which incudes an herbal wrap, massage and reiki. Had never had an herbal wrap or reiki before and they were both great! You can choose from 3 types of herbal wraps: cleansing/detox, soothing or energizing. Sheila, my practitioner, performed all 3 services which was nice since the transition between services was seamless. She was great! I also had a 30 minute steam, the steam room is small and private and you can have lavender or eucalyptus scent added. Definitely worth a visit. read more

Came here on New Years Day with fam and friends. We were 5 in total. The tub was big enough but we had to be careful not to move too much or we could short it. It wouldn't electrocute us but the tub would need to be restarted, which was fine. Since the potential overflow of the tub was an issue, the owner had to come and empty it some. It was okay, but def not ideal if you were looking for a relaxing time instead of small talk. In the end, that wasn't a big deal and they left us some extra time as a result. I will come back because the space and tubs were clean and the service was good. I just wish that they had more space to hang your stuff, a changing room that is not just a bathroom (something more like a locker room), and better lighting outside. read more

I've been coming here for years. It's expensive but worth it. Until now. I will no longer frequent this establishment and this is why: I booked a 60 minute massage last Friday. The massage started 5 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early. I emailed them saying that this didn't feel right; I got 50 minutes but paid for 60. The manager then emailed back saying that 50 minutes is standard procedure. And that they were very sorry for the confusion. He did not once address the fact that the session ended early. So, in case you don't know now you know: you get less than what you're paying for. The lack of integrity in this transaction is enough for me to never set foot again. I'll take my business elsewhere, thank you. UPDATE: i heard back from the owner today, and he offered me a full refund. So I'll give them that much. read more
