We found a home that was recently renovated. the kitchen we very Danish modern, warm wood tones, flat cabinet fronts, high end stainless appliances. similar clean lines in the bedrooms (no frilly curtains here). the best part was the gorgeous kidney-shaped, in-ground pool. It was a truly lovely experience. and we received a super-helpful gift basket with T.P., a couple of trash bags, paper towels, coffee etc, so we wouldnt have to go out and buy big packs of things that we would have to leave. Well done gemstone. The next time we go to florida we will use you for our accomodation needs.

They are very accommodating - letting us check in early when we arrived ahead of schedule and everything else in the area was booked and offering a discount on additional nights if availability was there at the end of our trip. The house is always extremely clean and stocked with a lot of essentials that make our trip easy - including pool toys which our children love. The layout is great for families and offers plenty of room. The garage game room is a great bonus for relaxing nights in, our family really enjoyed playing pool tournaments in the evening! The location is amazing - close to Disney, international drive, old town, and all the dining and shopping you could imagine. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and friendly. We had several folks stop us to talk on walks around the block. We can't wait to book again.

Spacious, beautifully decorated, secure and kid friendly. We loved everything and our family had a great time. This is a self-catered vacation - and requires the usual - washing dishes, bagging trash and putting it outside at the designated time, and starting the laundering of sheets and bath towels before you check out. One small discredit - there are no trash bags, laundry detergent, or dishwasher soap provided. Also no paper towels, coffee filters, sugar, salt & pepper, TP, or dish towel. A few tiny bars of soap in the bathrooms are provided. Don't even think about shampoo or conditioner. There was no hairdryer in the master bedroom (just attachments). I didn't check in the other bedrooms - there might have been one, That means, you have to buy all of these things. You can't buy 1 or 2 trash bags or enough laundry detergent for 2-3 loads, or dishwasher detergent for 3-4 loads. You leave it all behind and hope the next person gets to benefit. Since none of these were in our condo and it appeared to have been rented a week or two ago, I assume all of the things we left behind were removed and the next guest has to purchase them. This is not an inexpensive condo. These are minor expenses but inconvenient and wasteful to buy and discard. Hope someone at Windsor Hills is listening. If not, bring small quantities of all of the above.

We checked in Tuesday and checked out Sunday I call the maintenance department 7 times and was told that some one was on the way. They did send a repair person out 6 pm Thursday (2 days later)after thanksgiving dinner. The repair person told us that he would have to order a part and it would be there in 5 days (smh) We had to purchase dry ice to put in the Refrigerator to keep hundreds dollars of food cool we purchase when we arrived. Unfortunately that did not go well so we had to throw the food away.. Secondly, The house was false advertised. The website tells you that there are 2 master suits on first floor and 4 rooms on second floor, but that's not true. There's no master suits on the 1st floor at all just a standard room with a shared bathroom. I mention that to the lady and they replied that they just changed their website and it was a mistake. I told her that we upgrade to that home because we had people that couldn't use the stair. She said she would get back with me on that but we're still waiting. WE PAID A LOT MORE FOR THAT HOUSE, BECAUSE I CALL AND THEY TOLD ME THAT HOW THE LAY OUT WAS. I EXPLAIN TO TO THEM WHY I NEEDED ROOMS DOWNSTAIRS Third: The Water did not work in the kitchen sink or the 2nd floor Master Suit for 2 days. That was another thing that they said they where coming to fix, but no one showed, so my brother when to Walmart and bought something to fix the Sink in the kitchen but the sink in the bathroom ever go repaired. Fourth: We paid to have the pool warm and it takes 24 hours to work but for some reason they did not come until Wednesday afternoon when we stepped out to grab something to eat. Therefore the pool wasn't ready until Thursday afternoon, mind you they never went inside to check the other things. They came only to turn the heater on for the pool. Fifth: There's a code to get in the house, but on Wednesday the code stop working and we had to leave the siding door unlock just so we could get back in if we wanted to go somewhere. Or someone would have to stay behind for safety reasons. The bylaws tell you that there's no parking in the streets but that's not true. Also they do not provide garbage bags or toilet paper at their properties. There was one bag in the kitchen and half rolls of toilet paper in the bathrooms. They also request you start a load of bed sheets prior to departure but they don't give you the soap. This means that the last person who rented possibly ran a load of bed sheets without soap. I'll never stay at one of their properties again.

No Southern Hospitality during our 6 night stay We were on a…read morevery special family vacation and Starmark vacation services were unreliable to say the least, and worst of all, most of our time at the house was ruined because I ordered pool heat, and it was turned on 2 days after our arrival. I made several calls, and there was no urgency on their part. We had pool heat for a little over a day, and I was charged $110.00...ridiculous. I called four times on Saturday to report cold water. The neighbors pool was 10 degrees warmer than our. Our compressor was not even running. I was promised that someone would be to fix it within the hour and that they would send me an update. Neither happened. Also, if you want t make a phone call , you must go outside. No service in the house. They don't tell you about this problem. We requested a pass to use the clubhouse. It was not in the house, so we had to call about that, finally got it before noon our second day. Also, very limited bath towel supply, and no wash clothes...had to go buy some. The kitchen was not stocked with items to cook a meal, all the skillets had broken handles, and the pots and pans were in such bad shape they would not have sold in a garage sale. The house was beautiful, but not functional. Beds were not comfortable...laid in a hole. The pool area was nice, but with cold water we didn't get to enjoy it much. Our 2 and 3 year old were not happy. Especially when I was quoted that the water would be 88-89 degrees. Our vacation was centered around the pool because of the kids. I have used VRBO for 15 years, and have never had a bad experience, only good ones, but this was a terrible, expensive experience. Not service oriented at all. At the very least we should get a refund for the pool heat!

Overall, we really enjoy the amenities, it's a great setup and something we value having so close to home. However, our most recent visit was disappointing. We were required to pay for our pass, and my husband ended up standing at the front desk for about 20 minutes because the staff member kept assisting other guests instead of completing his transaction. That was frustrating and could have been handled much more efficiently. More concerning is the lack of enforcement of safety guidelines. While some lifeguards at the slides are attentive and doing a great job, others appear distracted--on their phones or wearing headphones--and not ensuring the area is clear before the next person goes down. We've also seen ongoing issues, including children throwing rocks into the waters from the landscaping, spilling drinks in the pools, roughhousing, and tossing balls. On one occasion, a guest even had a dog in a float in the lazy river. Staff stated it was an emotional support animal, but regardless, this raises concerns about cleanliness and overall pool safety. We understand that many guests are on vacation and enjoying themselves, but for residents who pay a significant amount to access these amenities, there should be a higher level of consistency and professionalism from staff. With better supervision and enforcement of rules, this could be an even more enjoyable experience for everyone.
