Sorry for the long review but I wanted to try my best to encapsulate just how perfect our elopement was thanks to the amazing work done by Elemental Snapshots! When we had first decided to fly to a different country and elope, my husband and I had no idea were to even begin! So like any good journey it started with a quick google search, and it was there that a recommendation appeared for Elemental Snapshots. The recommendation spoke so highly of the reviewer's experience working with Matt and Kayli that we knew then and there that we had found the people we had wanted to work with. Matt and Kayli were so wonderful to work with. Early on, we had a quick phone call with them to discuss what our elopement would look like. If we are being honest, we didn't have a very concrete idea of what we were hoping for going into the phone call and all my husband and I really knew was that we wanted to have a wedding that allowed us to focus on the beginning of our marriage to each other in a way that allowed us to be in the moment. Matt and Kayli were so wonderful at walking us through our thought process that by the time the phone call was finished we knew that our wedding was going to be everything we had been hoping for but that we had been struggling to put into words. Our wedding was EVEN BETTER than we could have hoped for. Kayli was amazing as an officiant, making it feel so personal and allowing us to live in the moment and take it all in. The pictures themselves were stunning, and truly looked like they belonged in a magazine. They made sure to take many different poses and shots, and made sure that we got any specific shots we wanted, which of course, also turned out beautifully. Kayli was great at helping us figure out how to pose and she did it in a way that made us both feel comfortable and relaxed. They organized my bouquet, a flower set up on the beach, our leis, and even made sure to give us plastic glasses with our non-alcoholic sparkling cider. They thought of every detail and more! Our family has not stopped gushing about how beautiful our pictures are, and after showing them the video we had taken of our ceremony, everyone will not stop commenting on how amazing Kayli was as an officiant. The whole evening felt like a scene out of a movie for how perfect it was. We loved how personal and comfortable the whole thing felt which allowed us to really take in the moment and reflect on every single detail throughout our wedding day. Two weeks later and we are still talking about how amazing our experience was. There is truly not a single thing we would change about the process. We hired Matt & Kayli for our elopement and could not be any happier!! From my very first email to them, they were extremely helpful. They spent a lot of time helping with suggestions on locations and even booked the permit for the beach so we didn't have to deal with it. I asked for recommendations for florists since I couldn't find one available and they offered to take care of it! We gave them our budget and what we wanted, the flowers were absolutely perfect! The day of the shoot, they were professional but personable and we had SO much fun with them. With Matt's creativity flowing he was running all over the beach and cliffs for the best angle and Kayli was right there with us coordinating the pictures, making sure we looked our best at all times. We ended up going over our allotted time we hired them for. They made us feel comfortable to just be ourselves and they captured all of the most important moments beautifully. Also captured moments we didn't realize they did, some of which ended up being our favorites! Even our guests and officiant told us weeks later that Matt & Kayli "were awesome and so easy to work with". They went above and beyond in all aspects and now I'm back in Seattle, trying to think up another event to so we can have them do their magic! In May, my family and I had a photo session with Element Snapshots while visiting Kauai, and Kayli was our photographer. From the beginning, she was wonderful to work with. Late in the planning process, we found out that our extended family would also be in Kauai and wanted to join for a few group photos. Kayli was incredibly accommodating and made it work, which meant a lot to all of us. It is not often that multiple families are together in such a beautiful place like Hawaii, so having those memories captured was truly special. For our own family session, Kayli did an amazing job capturing us at Tunnels Beach. Matt and Kayli are incredible. From the get go, they were incredibly attentive, and genuinely wanted to make sure that they were able to capture our day that we wanted to. They provided us with a ton of advice regarding locations, the pros / cons of each, and what would work best in terms of logistics given that we had family members with different physical abilities and needs. We are incredibly happy with our photographs. They were delivered to us much quicker than what we expected, and there are no hidden fees or gotchas with the photos they provided to us. All of the photos were given to us in full quality, along with the rights for us to print our own photographs - this is something that not all photographers do without charging extra, so something extra to keep in mind. We are very particular people, and did a ton of research when it came to choosing photographers, and we are incredibly grateful that we were able to have Kayli and Matt help capture a memorable day for us. Matt and Kayli were an absolute dream to work with! We were looking for a photographer on our recent trip to Kauai and found the Elements Snapshots page on Instagram. Matt and Kayli are incredibly talented and captured some amazing memories from our trip to Kauai. The location they recommended was incredible and made the photo session more of an adventure. My kids loved climbing the rocks and the views were breathtaking. We would never have found such a beautiful and memorable spot otherwise. WOW!!! We were not sure what to expect setting up a high school senior picture photo shot in Kauai from Michigan, yet the entire experience with Matt was phenomenal. It was easy to set up the date and time. Not knowing the island and the best setting for pictures, Matt talked with us and gave us several options, letting us know what each of them were like and showing us sample photos, and we settled on Hanalei Bay Beach. Matt is 'the energizer bunny' and made the photo shoot so much fun, moving to different places on the beach, including a very cool shot under the pier itself. The photos turned out amazing!
