Great place to stay! I would have given it a 5 star but it has limited vegetarian option which is a let down since the other property had better options. We stayed here for my sister-in-law's wedding and I must say this is a great place which is clean and relaxing. If you are in an around Chattanooga, I would suggest this is the best place to be What's amazing: 1) They give you free drink/ soda (don't remember if it was beer or drink). I didnt use it coz I don't drink and we came back late but otherwise it was a welcome bonus 2) The breakfast has live omelette counter 3) Place is clean and inviting 4) Close to highway and restaurants Not so good: 1) Almost nothing for vegetarian/ vegans - I just ate a banana for breakfast 2) The breakfast timing is 6:30-9:30. it would be great if they can extend it to 10 AM 3) The entry to the front gate from the main road is confusing Overall, if you are looking for a great place without a lot of money, this is a good place to be read more

It's Thursday, April 2, 2026 at approximately 0900. The front desk clerk is NOT wearing a name badge, and is wearing casual clothes. I asked him for the general manager's business card and was denied. He stated he holds this position for the day. I asked him again for the manager's business card and his reply is what is my room number. I asked for the business card again. No business card received so this is why I'm here reporting the issues! Issues: 1. There was a nasty pubic hair on the toilet bowl when the seat was left up too. How did you all NOT see this when you left the seat up and it was a very curly black pubic hair??? 2. Behind the lotion and the makeup remover wipe was a very long black hair. How did you all NOT see this??? 3. Breakfast area: two toasters of which one was inop. I attempted to use when I finally turned around to ask the lady behind omelet counter for assistance when she replied in broken English "it not work" . I asked her to input a sign and her reply "no". I asked the other lady cleaning up and she didn't understand English I'm guessing. Went up to front desk. Asked the guy (the one who was NOT wearing a name tag and wearing casual clothes), if he could put a note on the toaster or provide me with a sticky note and I would add to inop toaster. He said he would. NOBODY ever walked up to his counter, and after 10 minutes, I asked for a sticky note. He replied "why?" I said to place a note on the toaster. He said he's doing it. I replied you are not doing it. I have seen 11 people trying to use the toaster at this point. About 8 minutes later, he walks in front of a kid trying to use the toaster, NEVER SAID EXCUSE ME, reaches around him and places the inop sticky note. The kid literally looked at him in shock! Oh what manners this guy has in the big State of Tennessee!!! I'm wondering where he is from because he definitely wasn't born in the South with those manners!!! read more

Clean and fantastic! This is a nice place to stay and they have a bar and an outdoor pool! This is a new , modern post Covid hotel that makes you really feel comfortable and clean, love it! They have an outdoor pool that is very large. Definitely stay here if you need to be in Chattanooga! They also offer a solid breakfast, the bagel's were surprisingly good! They were fresh locally made and not frozen. They offer made to order eggs and pancakes which were really good, not the standard scrambled egg premade buckets on a buffet.They also have an espresso/ cappuccino machine. read more

Element Chattanooga is a Marriott owned hotel located in east Chattanooga Tennessee. My family was coming home from Lousiville to Orlando when we used our bon voy points to book this hotel as a place to treat our heads for the night. The hotel was obviously newer and massive. It stuck out in the neighborhood it was in as it was very classy I. What seemed to be a desolated and shady looking portion of town. Even the parking lot it shared was blocked off as it was next to what was I believe and abandoned and closed hotel. The two Queen studio suite we stayed on was very comfortable and nice. The workers here were very nice and the complementary breakfast is one of the better ones you will see that actually features a worker cooking eggs, pancakes and other items right in front of you. We didn't participate in amenities like the pool or fitness room but they were available. Overall a very nice and upscale Marriott location. I was a smidge nervous about my car being broken into due to the shady parking lot and area but other than that this was a great hotel and very nice. read more

We stayed at the Element Chattanooga East on what was supposed to be a family vacation. It turned bad fast. I found a bedbug and my child was bitten. I tried to call downstairs but they just put me on hold so I hung up. I told my husband and when he got back to the room, he looked and then smashed the bedbug in a tissue paper then we got our stuff and left. We had to throw away a whole set of luggage and our clothes were expensive so we opted to put them in trash bags and take them to a laundromat and then after we had a dry cleaner place pick them up and basically ensure it was 100% clean and free of bed bugs. We didn't want to get in our car so we had an Uber take us to Laundromat and back. We ended up checking into a non-Marriott hotel in the area and had to go buy new luggage at the store. The whole thing was a disaster. We took the whole day of just checking our belongings cleaning them and showering ourselves afterwards. We were extremely tired by then. It was a waste. All in all between the luggage, dry cleaning bill and getting another hotel it was a lot of wasted money and time. Be careful of the bedbugs here, the hotel will likely try to cover for themselves and claim they don't have any, but what do you expect. They would look bad if they admitted it. Typically I hate traveling because of hotel rooms. I always dread going to one and knowing I will wake up with an aching back. That's assuming the cheap mattress allows me to even fall asleep. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this hotel was a unicorn in the world of hotels. The bed was so comfortable. The pillows were somehow soft and firm at the same time. I slept almost as well as I do at home. The room was clean and quiet. There was a small table to eat your meal and a kitchenette. I don't want to eat every single meal out so it was nice to have options. Definitely will be staying at other Elements in the future. read more

Brad at the Element Hotel is truly outstanding. Not only is he a fantastic bartender with excellent customer service, but he's also incredibly professional and welcoming. I personally prefer to only deal with him -- he makes the experience that much better. On Sunday, he was running the front desk, the bar, and the kitchen all by himself -- and he still provided amazing service with a smile. That level of dedication and ability is rare, and this hotel seriously needs to recognize what a valuable employee they have in Brad. read more

Warning to pet owners: This place will rip you off! We found this hotel by searching for pet friendly hotels on our way from Florida back to Michigan. Having stayed previously at a La Quinta where the pet fee was $25 for two dogs, we thought assumed that they would charge something similar. We were horrified to learn that they were charging us $100. So essentially this doubled the cost of the room. Deciding not to stay here, we called the local La Quinta and verified their pet fee was $25 and they had a room available. We were then told that because we didn't cancel within 48 hours we would be charged the full fee even though we booked it a couple of hours before, INCLUDING THE EXTRA 100 FOR THE PETS!! In the end I guess it's our fault for not calling to verify that we would be not ripped off, but it is their fault in being inflexible in their desire to squeeze every extra $100 they possibly can from us, and their consequence is that never again will we be staying with Westin. read more

I love this hotel and have stayed several times. It's beautiful, rooms are very large, very peaceful. The only drawbacks are the breakfast is no good for me. They have yogurt sitting out in a big pot, which I just don't like plain yogurt. They have some breads sitting out. Some pieces of fruit and that's about it. The hot breakfast items are pancakes or scrambled eggs, but neither are good for some reason. Also the snacks for purchase are not appetizing, I think they are trying to print healthy. The sheets are scratchy, so I hope they get softer over time. read more

Stayed here for a night while road tripping. The entry is difficult to get to. Due to the area- valet is suggested and highly recommended. The valet could be more approachable and hospitable - the guy working the valet was not friendly whatsoever. The front desk was always busy. The breakfast ran out so quickly. Granted, we were staying on a weekend so there could be a higher occupancy but expected a bit more given the price. The room was immaculately clean. Elevator was fast. Love this hotel!! It's new as of October 22 and I'm pretty sure we are the first to be in this room. We stopped in to rest on a 20 hour road trip and decided to give this location a try. The young lady at the front desk is super nice. Gave us some recommendations for dinner as well as helped with getting some ice. Apparently the designer only put ice makers on the odd numbered floors and the ice maker in the main floor was all the way down a hall at the opposite end of the elevators. The front desk person went out of her way with a smile to get us an ice buckets along w a clean liner. The room we stayed in was very roomy and the dishes look like something anyone would have I. Their own home. Both the cheap and mismatch dishes a lot of extended stays would have that we have seen. This location is close to a lot of shopping and dining. They must be doing more updates as there's a fence around the hotel. Could be why there wasn't a lot of cars here tonight. People probably think it's still being built. I definitely would recommend you staying here. It's a beautiful hotel. read more

We booked this for a quick couple's escape to Chatanooga. It's so far out from the fun parts of Chatanooga you'll need to love commuting to book this hotel. After a great afternoon downtown, it took us 36 minutes to get there in midday light traffic. The area is strip malls, shopping centers, and cars. Very little to do and food choices seem to be limited. Brad at check-in was kind but at 4:30 our room was just being cleaned. He explained the night prior had been a full house and they were understaffed. He gave us a different room but there was mold and someone's left-behind body wash in the shower, many children's hand and nose prints on the window (which overlooked the parking lot and an under-construction hotel) and the bed sheets were wrinkly (probably unused but questionable). We were exhausted so just kept the room. Room appointments were nice - the bed was comfy, the filtered water on tap and Keurig were nice, and breakfast the next morning was included and good (as a vegan it was nice to have oatmilk option and plain oatmeal available). I had seen multiple reviews stating that the parking is not great but there was ample parking. They have bikes to check out but there's nothing remotely interesting to bike to and a lot of traffic - I wouldn't want to bike here. I chose this because it had a 9.6 out of 10-star rating on Hotels.com so my expectations were that high. I would give it 7.5, tops. read more

Absolutely beautiful! Love this hotel! The staff were all friendly and welcoming! The breakfast was just missing meat lol ! However we did have lots of other options. The TV size is usually the problem when it comes to my husband's opinion, however he didn't complain one bit. The stand up shower was also a plus. If you're looking for a new hotel with all new updated amenities, I would choose this hotel for sure ! Only one complaint is the 245$ room deposit fee they hold for 2 to 3 days after check out! It's also cheaper to book on line, however don't forget to read the small print !! The 245$ room deposit fee. We didn't notice they had that and booked online for a second night and now they are holding another 245$ ‍ so be careful of the small print ! Reserved and paid for a room a month in advance. Arrived after a ten-hour drive to be told they were fully booked.

We stopped here on our way south. We got in late, around 9pm. The front desk agent was nice and friendly. She thanked me for my loyalty status and inquired about the welcome gift. She explained breakfast, too, but we didn't partake as it was crowded. (And we like to eat breakfast at places other than hotels.) She also asked why we were there, since there were a lot of youth soccer families there. She placed us on the top floor away from them. The room was nice and clean. My wife did comment that a lot of things in the kitchenette would be hard for her to use or get as she is short. My only qualms are that there was no place to a hang towel outside the shower while showering and that the sink vanity has a gap by the wall for things to fall down. Other than that, it is a nice, clean hotel with friendly, engaging staff, and I would definitely stay again. read more

Element is a brand new hotel and very beautiful. We stayed while traveling the area. Staff were very nice and helpful, rooms were clean, fresh and accommodating. The only HUGE issue I found was the lack of accommodation for anyone with a dietary restriction or need. While the hotel offers a lovely continental breakfast that most guests would rave about, it has NOTHING except fresh fruit that a gluten free or celiac and dairy free person could eat. There isn't even dairy free coffee creamer for their shiny coffee machine. Luckily, I always travel with my own food for just this reason. So frustrating, especially in this modern day and age! read more

Comfy beds and pleased with the size of the bathroom as well as the shower - had a standard king room. The breakfast was decent with pancakes and fried eggs cooked fresh.
