Stayed at the Element Chandler over the Labor Day weekend for a golf tournament. We liked the location (right next to a mall with many restaurants and shopping). We also chose Element for the complimentary EV charging. They basically have 4 EV charging stations. Two are "Tesla" chargers. One of the Tesla chargers is located near a handicap parking spot. One of the non-Tesla chargers was not working. One thing that would make these chargers more useful is if the users of them would move their cars when they are done charging. But that is not the Element's fault. We booked two queen beds. The room itself was pretty run down. The stove had a huge crack (see photo). The bathroom tile grout needs a lot of maintenance. The shower door would also not fully close. There was no bathtub. The staff that we interacted with were great. Especially Carson. The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard. Your selection of bread, bagels, and muffins. A small yogurt station and small selection of hot items. One day was scrambled eggs and bacon. The other day was a sausage and egg croissant. They had apple juice, cranberry juice and orange juice, too.

Spent one night here with the family. I chose this hotel because of proximity to our family that lives in Chandler and because I was curious to check out Marriott's new(ish) brand. The room had a full kitchen area, two queen beds, desk/sitting area and a nice sized bathroom. Overall the room felt a bit tight for five of us (two adults, three kids) but we were only resting our heads there. There is free breakfast in the morning and it is your basic chain hotel type breakfast assortment. The heated pool was on the smaller side but looked adequate. With the cooler temps we did not get to enjoy it. Overall, we had an a-okay stay. If we were staying in the area longer I would not choose this hotel again. For a newer hotel it didn't feel very new. I'm not sure if this is an extremely busy hotel or cleaning just isn't up to par.

Picked Element for its proximity to church we're going to the next day. I have to say I was pretty impressed. Modern vibes, clean room, decent complimentary breakfast. They even have a yogurt bar, yum. Booked a 2 queen bed suite but was upgraded to one bedroom king suite before I even gave them my Bonvoy card. Bonus: FREE EV charging, 2 Tesla (one not working, the other was handicap parking) and 2 J1772. Used plug converter and I was able to charge all night.

Fingerprints all over everything. We didn't even touch anything during our stay. room was not cleaned before our stay

Absolutely disgusting hotel, room was not cleaned before our arrival, checked in late and didn't want to mess with it. Checked out early as a result. Management doesn't care at all, reached out and never got a response.

on the window sill after raising the drapes. no one bothers to clean these rooms well. nonsense Corp BS about extra cleaning during COvid.

Its a decent place, adjacent to the mall. Stayed here during COVID-19 impacted restrictions in May and it was not a great experience. Basically the rooms are not cleaned at all during the entire stay! There are no breakfast snacks or anything at all in the morning. The staff is not friendly at all and my room was not ready at check in, so with a snotty attitude they found a different room for me. Lastly, as a Lifetime Platinum member (Yeah, well over 1,000 nights) I was not given any recognition at check in or during the stay. Not even a complimentary bottle of water. Even Premier member parking is not available in front of the hotel. Would not stay here again.

I booked a last minute flight and rental car hours before my friend's wedding, without a hotel; I found this hotel in the area and somehow it reminded me of a hotel in South Korea, maybe the layout? Regardless, it came up under Marriott property: Friendly staff, only stayed a few hours and caught a flight home the following day. Reminds me of Hilton's Home2 brand, clean and modern. Cost was $115, not bad for a weekend and located in a fashion mall center.

Not sure what this is but it was all over our comforter- yuck

I read reviews before our stay so I wasn't expecting anything amazing but for this particular trip all my husband and I needed was a place to sleep as we would be out and about most of the time. The location was nice, very convenient and a lot of places to visit nearby. The lobby and amenities were simple which was fine as they appeared clean. Continental breakfast was a nice touch, can't go wrong with a bagel and cream cheese. Enjoyed the yogurt parfait station and that they always had ice water in the lobby. Our room appeared clean aside from our bed. There was some weird residue on the comforter and we ended up just tossing the whole thing on the floor to avoid dealing with it as we checked in very late and needed to sleep. This made me paranoid about how clean anything else was here. Customer service is nowhere near what it should be for something owned by Westin. Staff didn't seem to be happy working here. We requested pillows and they had no one to deliver them so we had to go downstairs to grab them. Room service never ended up cleaning our room so we requested extra bath towels and they brought us ONE. They definitely don't go above or beyond at this hotel and they seem to be understaffed and lacking amenities to keep guests comfortable. Upon checking in they gave us a water bottle and when we asked for one more (there were two of us after all...) they said they ran out (???). Would not stay here again.

First time staying at an Element hotel and I loved it! The service was great and the hotel was clean! We arrived early Friday morning around 8am and wanted to freshen up after breakfast so I called the hotel around 10 for an early check in and bam! I was able to check in without an extra fee. I arrived at the hotel and the staff already had my key made and ready to go! :) she was awesome. I was also welcomed to free coffee, tea and water all day long. This added perk was awesome and it saved us from going out and buying drinks. We got a double queen room that looked out at the pool and you can see the sunset. The room was decently sized and was very comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen with a dishwater, microwave, toaster, exhaust fan and pots and pans but it wasn't needed. There was also a special filter for the water in the room! First time seeing that in a room. The beds are comfortable. They are soft but fairly firm which I thought was perfect. There were plenty of pillows and there was a sofa bed in our room too. The furniture in the room was definitely nice and modern and it feels comfortable. There is a desk if you want to do work or simply have a meal. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The shower was big and awesome. Water pressure was decent and I like how they have the soap dispensers. The soap was alright and nothing out of the ordinary. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom and the toilet is super strong. Lol Lastly, the breakfast was memorable. I'm a simple breakfast person and I am happy with muffins and juice. They have Chobani yogurt bar, a bunch of cereal like Froot Loop and Cheerios, bagels, English muffins, toast, bear claws, quiche, made to order pancakes, hard boiled eggs and pancakes made to order. It's a big variety but I was extremely happy with the muffins. They were warm when I got them. Overall great hotel for the price. Service was great! The elevator was fast. There is plenty of parking all around the hotel. Several entrances to the hotel. Lots of electric car charging stations. I'm definitely going to consider it when I'm traveling again. It is on par with Aloft and Tru.

Upfront bias (possibly halo effect): I'm a big fan of the Heavenly bed featured in the Westin collection...so I'm liking the place before we even get to the parking lot. As we tour the hotel, in and out, I'm loving the modern clean lines and efficient use of space in the suite. Finally, the breakfast buffet is a step above most with French toast on demand and a fresh berry and Chobani yogurt bar. Oh, and the premium coffee in a timed brewer is the first free hotel coffee I've enjoyed! For a reasonable price, there's a lot to love and without the luxury stuffiness. Back to the bed...on par with quiet space...the cradle is the most important element of the hotel stay, and this one is just sublimezzz

I had a buddy (great golfer) look up a few courses for me in Chandler which right next to Phoenix and Ocotillo was his recommendation. I'm glad he found it for me. Let me start by saying this was not an easy course for a high handicapper (17) like me, but it was extremely fun to play. I don't think I've ever played 18 holes with so much water in play on the majority of the course. The greens were kept up (not fast at all), the fairways were nice, and the tee boxes were in good shape as well. I lost a lot of balls but not because of the difficulty of the course, it was simply bad play. I believe they have three 9 hole courses that they use and I started on what they call Oasis. It was a great front 9. Ironically, the back 9 felt a lot easier with less water, but there was still plenty of it to go round. If you're looking for a fairly difficult, yet fun course to play, you'll love this spot. The clubhouse crew was very customer service friendly as well from the moment you walked up and I only paid $97 for 18 with a cart with one day notice.

Just a money grab. *UPDATED* Jeff below will try to tell you lies to make what occurred seem better to save face. There was only 3 tastings. Two par 3's had empty tables. Prizes were underwhelming at best. A bag tag looks like a child made at elementary school, a free round of golf in these conditions (couldn't pay me to play it again), and one of their own head covers. Utilize your vendors from golf brands. Other courses offering hundreds of dollars, clubs, etc for lesser tournament registration fees. You offer what seems to be after thoughts to be cheap. Every course waters more in the summer so it doesn't get fried but morning tee times see dew. Not standing water and soggy ground with every step. It was the most unprofessional tournaments I have ever seen. Absolute amateur hour. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE!!!!!!

I came here for a really large work party and the best way to describe the ambiance was a nice wedding reception without a wedding. We had beautifully decorated tables with assigned seats, fun music, a bar, and photo ops. The drinks were good - in my opinion they were pretty standard event cocktails. Definitely tasty, but not craft cocktail level drinks. When it came time to eat and we all went through the buffet, I had pretty low expectations since it is a buffet to feed over 100 people. I have to say though, the food was really and truly wonderful. Best event food I've had hands down. Overall if you're looking for a fun place for your next large party this is a great option. Our wedding coordinators were super friendly and did a wonderful job to make sure our wedding went according to plan & that it would be one of THE absolute BEST day of our lives!! We chose the ceremony paradise package, which was $2000 for a 2 hour rental. See pic below of everything this package includes & visit their website for more info. We added gazebo curtains and awning drapings over our ceremony site, which cost roughly $200, but all other decorations, we did on our own & it saved us a lot of moolah!!! We couldn't thank our coordinators enough for helping to ease the stress of wedding planning during this difficult time of covid and social unrest. They allowed us to bring in food and cake from a restaurant/baker, and they were kind enough to let us use their indoor space without any added fees!! I'm also very thankful that Bella Rose allowed us to have a responsible mask-free wedding without any negative outcomes to our beloved family!!! Our officiant Gary was OUTSTANDING!! So if u have a choice, Gary is ur guy!! He had all the right words & swagger!! And...a big shout out to Sarah, our DJ, for making our wedding such a hit even during a pandemic!! Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect, but I must admit that I was annoyed by our coordinator repeatedly telling us that we MUST clean up at a specific time so that we can be off the premises by the time our 2 hour rental is up. As a paying customer, I don't think that i should be told what to do like a little child, and it made me feel very unwelcomed and unimportant. I'm well aware of my rental time and a gentle reminder would have been sufficient. Also, i think this package should include 2.5 hour rental instead of a 2 hour rental. So if u choose this wedding package, it doesn't hurt to ask for a 2.5 hour rental!! Despite the minor annoyance, i am grateful for our coordinators' help in creating my dream wedding & i will fondly remember this momentous day forever!!
