Never been so easy to catch a big snook then staying at the Plantation Inn. They have a pontoon that take you out to shelf of seagrass around 6 feet deep and you snorkel for scallops. Look for the blue eyes or dots, blue dots on the edge of the shell. They jet around when you try to harvest them/grab them, which is so cool, kids will love the experience. We had a visitor while scalloping, two manatees and thier baby manatee. It could not have gotten any more magical. Manatees have hands inside their mit of a glove flipper. The Manatee grabbed my hand and we started swimming around the spring together. I don't take drugs or acid, but this was probably the equivalent of that experience.

I saw the Manager return from the smokers and claimed he addressed the situation as best he could. My better half is close to requiring an oxygen tank. The last thing she needs is second hand smoke. Please ensure to enforce our "No Smoking" restaurant policy equally amongst those who violate such policies.

Pine Ridge offers both a nine-hole par 3 course and an eighteen-hole regulation course. It is always nice to get all three generations together on the golf course and Pine Ridge is ideal. My dad is almost 83 and my sons are not experienced golfers so the par three course is perfect for both my aging father and my sometimes less than patient sons. The par-3 course is a short course. Most holes can be reached with a seven iron or less. Fairways are in good shape and the greens are reasonably well maintained. There are no water hazards and few bunkers but many of the holes offer a lot of wooded area in which to lose a ball or two. Pine Ridge is not a world class course by any stretch of applicable standards but it is a lot of fun and very affordable as compared to courses in Tampa or Orlando. The clubhouse also offers what appears to be basic but pleasing fare and every employee I have encountered has had a very pleasant personality. I hope you never find yourself trapped in Citrus County but, if you do, Pine Ridge is a great place to while away a morning or an afternoon.
