Not really sure how this place has managed to get so many 5 star reviews. We chose to call them for our needs based on these reviews. It was a mistake, but we can only speak as to our company's experience with them. Called them out the end of August(8/23) to unlock/repair/replace a jammed lock on a secured drawer at our front reception desk. Strangely unprofessional interaction for a business from the beginning(the number listed is apparently the cell phone of one of the locksmiths), but we like to support small local businesses so we went ahead with the request for service anyway. We did not have stellar expectations as this is a lock on a wooden drawer, but it had gotten jammed before so we needed a professional to take a look. After some back and forth via text, the locksmith arrived, and was unable to release the jammed tumblers(as expected), so asked if he could take the lock "back to the shop" to try to fix it there, or see if he had a replacement. Of course we agreed...what choice did we have? He then left, after speaking with the controller about payment. Later that day we realized he had left a package of his tools behind. Called to let him know, no answer. Left message and texted a picture of the tools(this business seems to prefer text). A few days later, he came back saying that he was unable to fix the lock but had another lock which might work. It was too small/too short. No worries...it happens...he said he would try to order another lock , took his tools and went out the door...we now have a hole in the security drawer where the lock used to be because he took it with him. Fast forward one month. We never heard back from this anyone at this business(invoice for first visits was paid in full), and we had no contact information for the person who came out, so the controller and I decided a callback to the business was warranted. First call, someone picked up but there was no answer to my greeting...just dead air...weird...hung up and called back. Second call, a voice said "hello?"(no business greeting, so I got confused as to whether I had the correct number or not). I explained who our business was and why we were calling...that someone had come out and said they were going to try to replace the lock but we hadn't heard from anyone. The person on the other end stated "actually, that was me(we never got his name and it was not offered, so we still have no idea who this person is) and I haven't found another lock yet, but obviously I have not been out there looking every day for one, so...".....Wait, WHAT? I asked if we could at least have our old lock back so we could try to find one on our own...you know, since we now have this big hole in what is supposed to be a secured drawer. The person on the other end actually got MORE of an attitude and said we could come pick it up at the shop. I thanked him for all his help and hung up. We will be sending someone to pick up the lock. That all being said... We are a business...a rather prominent one in the local area. We like to help out other local businesses...Our owner's father started this business from scratch and supporting small businesses is something the owner is passionate about. When we get good service from another small/local business, we share that business with others in the area...either by word of mouth, Facebook posts (tagging that business), sharing business cards, or what-have-you. It is important to us, especially now that so many are struggling. We also share the bad experiences. This was one of them. There are SO MANY small businesses trying to keep their heads above water in this increasingly difficult consumer market, that we feel it is a waste of everyone's time and money when bad service is given. Also, from a business standpoint, there are many ways that this experience could have been better, but communication is the primary one. Take care who you give your business to. If communication is an issue from the start, think twice before giving them your money.

Quick and professional! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Hoping not to lose keys again, but I know where to go when I do.
