The most recent contact I had was when a close family member's dog had suddenly passed away at the age of 15. A dog. This dog was very well known and extremely well loved to the point he was practically a sibling. I called to order sympathy flowers, and half way through the order I began to cry. Not just a sniffle, but a real cry when thinking about how dependent his owner was on that lovable, dark fluff of fur. Despite how silly I felt for crying over a dog, the lady who took my call treated me with the utmost dignity and respect. She was patient. She was kind. She truly understood. She didn't treat me any differently when I explained we were on a tight budget. Looking back now, she truly was amazing! Not only was the customer service outstanding, but the bouquet received by our family was reported as "outstanding". But I didn't really need that feedback, because the quality of the flowers over the last couple of decades has always been top notch from this florist. In closing, I appreciate this business and hope they continue with the same business model. We have many family members in the area and take great comfort in knowing our heartfelt emotions will be always be expressed perfectly through flowers through this company. Thank you, Zimlich!

Thank you Zimlich for amazing service!…read more Last week I made the mistake of ordering birthday flowers for a very special elderly family friend from a dot.com floral site. BIG MISTAKE - Buyer Beware. Those flowers were poorly put together and fell apart on my friends front porch when her granddaughter tried to lift the package. My friend said that she always uses Zimlich and was surprised by the way the local florist contracted by the dot.com florist did business. I was horrified and embarrassed. Fast forward to today. I called the Sage avenue location of Zimlich and was fortunate enough to speak with a super sweet employee named Sherry. I explained to her what had happened last week and asked for help putting together a new order. Sherry was amazing and knew her flowers. She told me what was fresh in stock and helped me to decide. I chose to go with a "designer's choice option" because I got a really good feeling talking with her and she also mentioned that the florist working today was extremely talented with many years of experience. I ordered the flowers around 8:30 Central time. The flowers were delivered close to 10:00 AM Central. (There was some really bad weather expected later in the day, so I am VERY appreciative that the flowers were delivered before the storm rolled through). My friend called me later in the morning to thank us and to tell me how beautiful the second arrangement was. Our friend can't lift over ten pounds and also told me also that the delivery man had been fabulous and had carried the arrangement to a safe location inside for her. THANK YOU SHERRY! THANK YOU ZIMLICH! Ya'll know how to treat people! It's no wonder you have been in business for so many years! I HIGHLY recommend this business to anyone needing to send gifts in their service area. I wouldn't hesitate to EVER order from Zimlich again.

I found the closest location, Le Roy's Florist, a few blocks away at 5581A Andrew Rd, Mobile. Le Roy's Florist was easy to find. Coming from Rangline Rd, I turned left onto Hwy 90 heading west, I turned right at the first stoplight onto Andrew Rd. I noticed Le Roy's Florist's large sign on the left; their brick building was right there! Once I stepped inside, I immediately saw that the unassuming exterior did not give me any idea of what I found: Le Roy's Flowers and Gifts! The sign outside does not say it all; this store has gifts for all occasions, not just flowers! I was greeted warmly when I walked in and was waited on immediately. I wanted to explore, but I first needed to choose which freshly made bouquet I wanted to be delivered right away. Half of the newly made bouquets had already sold; I was glad I did not have a delay in ordering one to be made. I chose a spring floral with daylilies, mums, carnations, roses, and other vibrant blossoms in a low-height vase with polka dots--it's perfect for the "I'm sorry" arrangement I was looking for. The ladies assured me that the short message I included was fine, so my order was complete, and it was to be delivered today, less than a mile away. Now, I can explore what this local gift store offers. Their gift shop varies, from carrying Alabama or Auburn team-themed items to baby gifts and collectibles to custom jewelry, purses, home decor, and much more. Of course, they have flowers and plants, too. The attached pictures are just a glimpse of what you can find at Le Roy's Florist. Find time to go by and see what they have; you'll be glad you did.
