I'm so happy I found this cute little dress shop, just for my alteration needs! I had purchased a wedding dress in Kansas City and needed a place here in town to alter it. I went maybe like 4 separate times after each alteration step for them to work on something else whether it was fixing the bustle, tightening of the straps, or adding more padding, they knew just what it needed! They didn't settle for it not to be the perfect fit. The dress ended up looking and fitting absolutely perfect by the end! They did an outstanding job in altering my gown and even offered to hold on to it to keep it safe and steam it before the big day. I came in completely defeated. My previous wedding dress had fallen through. I even politely told them to focus on other people because I was so confused. Amber assisted me and made me smile. She gave me confidence and was so patient in helping me figure out what I liked. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Amazing courtesy, respect, patience, customer service & product. The dresses are GORGEOUS! They went through every detail and made sure I understood. It was not overwhelming at all. I truly don't have enough positive things to say about this shop. This was my second stop while dress shopping. I brought two people with me to the first store and felt very confused and overwhelmed after because their thoughts were completely different from mine. I live in Wentzville and had only been looking at bridal shops east, toward St Louis. I googled bridal shops near me, and Elegance Made Simple popped up, with great reviews. My first thought was "Well, I'll be further from the city and maybe I can get a cheaper dress." I decided to give it a chance, and I'm so happy I did. They didn't have "the" dress for me, but they by far gave me the best bridal shopping experience I've had. They have an amazing selection of dresses, they have a great selection of off the rack dresses, great bridesmaid dresses, and they carry tuxes as well. I've since visited five more shops. Every one made me feel as though they were looking down on me for choosing to shop by myself. Every one made me feel rushed, did not make me feel special...did not make me feel that they cared, only that they wanted to make a sale. This is the only bridal store I've been in that I truly enjoyed my time and felt how I believe I should feel while shopping for a wedding gown. I was able to look through dresses myself to choose what to try on-which no other salons allow due to the pandemic-and they listened to my thoughts and pulled dresses I would've never tried without their suggestions (a couple being favorites). They took the time to talk to me, get an idea of me as a person, my feelings on the wedding overall, and made my time with them enjoyable instead of rushed and like I was nothing- like every other salon. I still haven't found my dress-I'm probably a little more picky than I should be-and I honestly am not the person to leave reviews for things. I usually only leave negative reviews to make sure others don't make my same mistakes...but like I said at the beginning, I don't have enough positive things to say about this shop.
