Scheduling appointments is easy due to flexible hours and a convenient office location on the south side of Appleton. During the complimentary consultation before all appointments, we discuss electrolysis facts and information, while answering any questions. A consultation card helps us to determine the cause of hair growth, since there are many contributing factors. This is an important step, since it's from this information we determine whether or not it's necessary to work w/ your doctor to alleviate problems such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, determining whether hair is due to hereditary factors, hormonally triggered or just normal mammal type hair. This info. is used for my client & i to develop a personalized custom plan of treatment based on personal needs & what will fit with their schedule. Even though electrolysis is currently the only permanent solution for ridding all hair, it isn't a once & done thing! Redness may occur on sensitive areas of the body, but doesn't last more than an hr. If redness does persist beyond an hr, the electrologist may reevaluate settings at next visit.

Electrolysis by Cathy opened shop in January of 2000. After moving into a beautiful and spacious 4- room suite on the 8th floor of the Zuelke Building, with four extra- large picture windows overlooking W. College Ave, and two waiting areas. One for adults & another for children with smaller furniture, filled toy box, kid friendly video games & tv.

I started the business after having my own electrolysis done & realizing the positive impact it had on my self esteem. This led me to the understanding of what this could do for so many others! As a busy mom of four wonderful boys, i knew it was important having a job with a flexible schedule for my family! Electrolysis has allowed me to not only be there for my children, but also make a positive impact on the life & confidence of many others suffering self esteem issues due to unwanted hair growth. Electrolysis has been a rewarding business from the start. Whether it was a client gushing on & on about how many compliments they've gotten on their amazing eyebrows or a client's partner telling them how great they've been looking during their span of treatments.
