The tech who took my call was knowledgeable and asked better questions than the chat at Samsung had. He proceeded to order the part needed when he found they didn't have it in order. Tuesday morning when I called back to check he assured me the part was expected in later that day. Due to me having misremembered my VoIP phone number he was unable to reach me Tuesday afternoon when the part came in. I called back Wednesday around noon and was told to come in any time and that it would take about two hours to complete the repair. I got there around 2:20 and left my phone. I came back to the shop a little over an hour and a half later and only had to wait about 10 minutes for them to confirm the glue had set completely on the phone (new phones need to be taken apart and glued shut again. Talk about making them difficult to repair) . All this for the reasonable fee of 67.84 which included tax. And get this, they include a full year warrantee on the part replaced!! I would recommend this service to friends anytime! Note: you do need to look for the entrance at 273 rue Ste. Catherine O as it is a door to a second floor office/shop location that you will need to be "buzzed" into. Even with my bad knees I feel the stairs up were worth the effort.

I got to speak 3 different representative each one had a different story, the worst one was the second guy I spoke to, saying they would sell me an iPhone 6 at a discount instead of them fixing what they did. I told them this is a spare phone I don't need a new phone it was my spare that I needed the battery changed that is all. Save your money and your time and go somewhere else. Oh and also the last message they told me was that there is always a risk in fixing phones that they could break it, funny I just needed the battery changed that's all. KSK is really the best computer repair experience I've had in 35 years. Extremely easy to work with and super knowledgeable. I even got pick up and delivery. Magic! BestBuy and most others quoted me 3-4 weeks to replace a power supply at nearly the cost of a new machine. I called 10 places and got the Quebec run-around (arrogant, frustrating attitudes, maybe we can fix it maybe not!) - calls that inspired zero confidence. I got KSK on the phone and there was a can-do tone of expertise and when I argued with him ( I was wrong ), he was patient and heard me out. Sadly the other components of my system would not fit well with the motherboards that could easily be acquired in a timely manner. I was looking at a repair that would take possibly weeks, this for a critically important computer. KSK instead replaced the bios chip on the motherboard. And it cost me a lot less than it would have cost to replace the motherboard! Good luck finding a tech who can and would do that at most other places. Not only that, but both times I have called him with a downed system, he has picked it up within hours, and delivered it fully functional either the same day or the next! Do expect to pay a couple hundred for the job, or more if it requires replacing hardware, etc., but he is definitely worth it, especially with pickup and delivery, and I expect likely not more expensive than most other places that won't give you anywhere near the same level of service.
