Usually furniture stores are wide open spaces with scads of couches, chairs etc that one has to pull their creativity together. At Lee Douglas they stage furniture that provides a homey comfort feel. The furniture is beautiful and unique. Clients do have the opportunity to customize with the wide variety of fabrics, colors and they have wallpaper. The real gem is with Brenda!! She was fabulous!! She has a warm greeting meeting us as we walked in. Asked great questions and shared some wonderful guidance. The only reason this is not a 5 star rating is that we haven't actually purchased anything yet to assess the quality after some use. However I wouldn't hesitate to buy my next piece from them! Universal Electric was called to my home for what appeared to be a breaker issue. By the time their…read moretwo technicians arrived, the issue had already resolved itself. I asked them to investigate further in case the problem returned, but they declined, saying "there's nothing we can do." They never entered the home, never inspected anything, and only briefly stepped out of their van into my driveway to talk to me before leaving. At no point during the scheduling call was I told there would be a service fee. When the techs arrived, they made no mention of a charge, nor did they provide any kind of invoice or paperwork before leaving. I later received three bills by mail, each demanding $130, with no explanation of what the charge was for -- just a warning that failure to pay would result in the account being sent to collections. I did not believe the charge was warranted and disputed it in writing via certified mail with return receipt, which Universal Electric received and signed for. They never responded. No follow-up, no phone call, no documentation -- just silence. Eventually, they turned the matter over to a collection agency. It's frustrating to be billed for a visit where no service was performed, no agreement was made, and no information was shared upfront about potential charges. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Universal Electric.

Rick picked one from that list asked for my phone number and address. After that communication, 3days passed and he no called no showed for our appointment. This lack of communication is all I am able to review. As a client, communication is one of the most important aspects I look for in a contractor because my time is valuable.

The guys they sent out did an amazing, amazing job…read more It's so crazy to me because there were all these things around our house that we were like "Man, I wish we could put a light here", or "I wish there was a light here", or "I wish this light didn't flicker when it's turned on". These guys did it all, and totally blew us away. They installed a bathroom ceiling vent fan/light and it looks and works amazing, they installed a bunch of new lights on the outside of the house, and they even swapped out an old light on a wall we didn't like with an LED, then when I said the LED was too bright they - without even remotely complaining - installed a dimmer switch there for me instead. I had a bunch of super old phone wires running across the basement that I'd been trying to remove but I didn't know if they were live or anything. Just because I asked, the team cut out all those old phone wires and made it look so much nicer in the basement because of that, so incredibly happy that got done. Pricing was super fair for the amount of work that was done, so that was super great when I got the final total at the end Could not say enough good thing about this company! Literally the only thing that is a bummer is they're so good that whenever I call they're always 3+ weeks out because so many people want to work with them, but even then they're worth the wait! Great job Dennis Electric, keep up the good work!

I couldn't be happier with the service that was provided. If you need any electrical work done, I highly recommend you go with Artisan. They are the gold standard.

We got a referral for Mark at Aritisan when we were looking for an electrician that could install a…read morelight fixture in our entry way for us, so we gave him a call. His quote to do the work was quite reasonable and he was prompt with his return call, so we decided to give his company a try. All I a can say is WOW!!! He arrived on time, he took down the old light that was in the entry way, assembled the new light fixture and then installed it in short order, at the price he quoted. In addition to that work, we talked with him about a few other electrical projects that we were thinking of having done, and he took a look at those opportunities, and quoted them on the spot, a full line surge protector, overhead lights in the basement utility room, and outdoor lighting for under our deck ... all three were really great prices, so we arranged for him to come back and do the full line surge protector the following week. He told us that he would call us when the part came in, which he did, and then we scheduled his arrival time. On the day he was to be there, he and his apprentice were, once again, right on time, geared up, and ready to do the job! While they were doing the second job, Mark told us that he had found good pricing on the lights for the downstairs utility room, and that he would reduce the quote for the install because he got a better price. He did not have to do that, he could have stuck with the same price and we would never had known that he got the lights for less money, but he didn't do that, he passed the savings on to us ... what an honest guy! We asked if he had time to do the lights too, and he said, sure, no problem. It took him about an hour to do the lights and roughly 20 minutes to do the surge protector, total time of about 1.5 hrs. The lights are fantastic and we are already planning the next job! Mark is a licensed Master Electrician, just starting out on his own with his new business. He is already my go to guy when it comes to electric work, which is good cuz I know enough about electricity to be dangerous. If you needed electrical work done, and you were to ask me if I knew a guy? Mark is the guy!
