Went into CEX today to sell my Playstation 4 because I needed money and all i did was watch Netflix…read moreon it which I can do perfectly fine on my smart tv ... waited in the queue for half an hour which obviously can't be helped... get to the counter and they say it'll be an 1 hour and a half wait which was alright i guess so I said i'd go home and come back later so i come back to the store at 5 o clock, one hour and a half later, and they tell me it probably won't be finished today... bare in mind they close at half 5 so not only did they need an extra half an hour they would have even done it today... so naturally i am pretty annoyed. Please do not commit to something and then have the audacity to say you can't do it because believe me you wouldn't go into a restaurant order some food wait an hour and a half for you to be told to wait an extra half hour to then be told "sorry it won't be done until tomorrow " ridiculous .... absolutely rubbish service, though CEX as a place is excellent just that shop has let them down as a unit . absolute crap.

I really, really love it here…read more The whole thing is about recycling your old games and dvds so that other people can get some enjoyment from them. Cex make a tidy profit from the whole shebang too, so everyone is happy. We recently came here and sold a whole bunch of games to Cex. We were offered £20, but more in store credit which we just put into buying loads of stuff that we actually wanted. It was a big win. You can sometimes find the queues are quite big, as people selling games takes a long time. So don't think you can just come in and out of here in a couple of minutes. The staff are individual, sometimes a bit odd, but always rather friendly.

It was in fact his fault and mistake for not switching the phone on and off. Out of pocket by £5 because of this not happy at all.

This company is highly unreliable. Their after-sales service is virtually non-existent. They took…read moremy money and failed to address any issues with the faulty goods I purchased for £600 back in March. It's now August, and I'm still waiting for the item to be collected and for a refund to be issued. I wasted two days waiting for the collection, but no one showed up either time. My complaints have been ignored, and even the staff in the store have been unhelpful. I strongly advise against doing business with them.

I called in before christmas for a present. I wanted some…read moretechnical help and was not hopeful. I was expecting to be served by someone underpaid, overworked and just wanting to make the sale. I had to wai the best part of 10 minutes for some one from the department to see to me. I was suprised, I was dealt with by some one enthusiatic, knowledgeable and pleasant. I actually bought the extra insurance which I have never done before. It wasn't pushed and it was cheap. They recomended a good product also at a reasonable price. On this occasion well done.
