There is a chinese chip shop on the same stretch of shops too and a pedestrian crossing. Parking facilities are off the road and infront of the shop, for approximately 8 cars, if you cannot park here there is a street opposite that you can park along and you can cross the main road to the florist at the pedestrian crossing. Flower Power is a small fronted shop with a lovely sign saying 'Flower Power' rather boldly and it is attractive. A new shop it has an attractive and modern frontage with a gorgeous window display, in the evening or late afternoon the florist will switch the green twinkly lights on that are in the window and this has a lovely effect. Inside the shop is a beautiful selection of bouquets and wreaths (christmas is coming) and a large selection of the gorgeous smelling Yankee Candles that are origionally from America....really nice! and reasonably priced. Lovely selection of candle holders too and car freshners. Boxed gift sets available too. All kinds of occasions can be catered for and all you have to do is ask and the florist will do her very best to accomodate you. She has even done a wreath in the shape of a horses head which was stunning. From traditional designs to very modern you can discuss your requirements and I am sure you will reach a decision that will be suitable and special. All flowers are shipped in fresh from holland and are beautiful, some last longer than expected too! The shop has two chairs which are comfortable. There is a good selection of good quality cards. The florist is warm and welcoming and runs the shop with her daughter. I can highly recommend Flower Power and I am sure that you may be pleasantly surprised.
