But , I am so glad we did. Ed did both mine and hers. He was great at drawing up the picture. It took us like 3 times to get it exactly what we wanted. I went into Custom Ink & Steel to get my nose pierced and was completely surprised by the atmosphere in this shop, the staff was so welcoming and willing to help. I have now received 2 tattoos from Evan Oslund he does AMAZING work, he is also very friendly and talks to you the whole time, which is a big plus in my opinion. It was the most unbelievable pain compared to my previous piercings, like the needle was dull. Also heard a different employee tell a customer that the piercer was out sick today. And I paid $150 for this, which is the advertised price, but insane for how badly these turned out, it also took an hour for all of them.

The piercing was booked with Ben on a Friday after the holiday at 3:30 when the place was jam packed with walk-ins. Somehow Ben and Al, who greeted us and helped us prior to our appt, were able to manage all of us and communicate along the way. They were awesome and their teamwork and service was top tier. They also both hyped me up about my stud and totally unprompted. My only regret is not booking another appt simultaneously when it was open LOL! Ben is by far the best piercer I've ever had. He also saved my sister fees by piercing her ear with a dull needle so she only had to pay for the jewelry. Overall I would recommend them to anyone! Worth the price and the wait. Looking forward to another appt when I'm in town again! Also very sterile vibes and Ben took time between appts to sterilize and change gloves even though I was with my sister.

Mike Moore was absolutely amazing with everything... he put my daughter at ease, talked her through every single step (I was allowed in the room with her during the piercing) and in general made this an exciting, memorable event. HIGHLY recommend and am thankful - Mike's empathy and compassion was clear and appreciated. Aftercare instructions were very clear and repeated several times, till he was sure she understood. My artist was nice and professional and easy going, which made getting a first tattoo a heck of a lot easier for a tattoo virgin like myself. It healed very well, the artist told me how to treat it and to not pick at it and how to apply the ointment to it. I think it's a pretty small shop, but it is run well and and is very clean, a big deal for a tattoo parlor. The last thing I wanted to do is go to a weird, run down tattoo parlor run by a bunch of tatted up ex con looking types. Luckily, that didn't happen. I felt very comfortable getting my tattoo done here.
