I haven't been tatted in 2 years and was actually super nervous. Especially since setting a boundary with myself not wanting to work with male piercers or artists after many bad experiences with them in the past. David's work was more than good enough for me to put that aside and give him a try. Not only did he exceed all already high expectations, but he is extremely professional and made me feel comfortable. The shop's front desk receptionist was amazing as well. Laura was extremely bubbly, informative, welcoming , and professional. She made the little bit of time he ran over with his previous appointment FLY, which helped with my nerves too. He is an absolute perfectionists (such a Capricorn lol), so I 100% respect it and if you're going to anyone for a service ever, especially when they're beyond phenomenal at what they do, you should expect your appointment to never be fully on time, DUH! A lot of artists claim to 'specialize' in black and grey shading, but are less than mediocre. The same way EVERY hair stylist to mankind 'specializes' in blonding, but are only semi decent. David TRULY specializes in black and grey shading and does exceptional work. He pays close attention to detail, and is very meticulous. I have never had a decent let alone good experience with a Tatoo artist, and am excited that I found my forever artist. I will only be returning here even when I move out of state, I plan to return. If you are looking to book, I'd do it as soon as possible considering he books out 6+ months out at all times. I'm glad he's working fully independently now and cannot wait to see the business fully flourish in the next coming months.

But , I am so glad we did. Ed did both mine and hers. He was great at drawing up the picture. It took us like 3 times to get it exactly what we wanted. But , he never acted annoyed or aggravated about redoing the picture. He was so good about making sure he was doing exactly what we wanted. All in all . A very good experience. Really enjoyed it.

It was the most unbelievable pain compared to my previous piercings, like the needle was dull. Also heard a different employee tell a customer that the piercer was out sick today. And I paid $150 for this, which is the advertised price, but insane for how badly these turned out, it also took an hour for all of them.

Never heard of Tribute Tattoo Parlor, but so happy I stumbled across them! I absolutely adore bats…read moreand wanted to get some new bat ink - Sugar Skull Bat or Fruit Bat - the jury was out on which I would rather have because I knew I'd love them both equally. The artist I generally go to never emailed me back, so I found Josh Barg on the list of people he follows on Instagram. There were other artists as well who do great work, but not really the style I go for in tattoos. I'm not into portraits or black & gray. I prefer colorful tattoos that are either Traditional or Cartoon style. I emailed Josh about what I wanted and heard back from him pretty quick. Couldn't have been more than 1-2 days. I drove up to the shop, we discussed the design, made the appointment (5 days from then), and I left him a deposit. I received an email from him yesterday (Saturday) asking what I thought about a bat head with sugar skull designs, but I really couldn't picture it. I wasn't sure it would still look like a bat without the wings. Well I went in there today (Sunday) and when he showed me the sketch I immediately knew it was a little Vampire Bat! I fell in love with it! He also drew up a little Fruit Bat in flight, but for the placement, I knew the Sugar Skull Vampire Bat was the one. The tattoo took about 2 hours. It was mesmerizing watching him create this awesome little dude on my arm. His lines are clean and thick, which I love! It's seriously flawless! He really did a great job on the color too. I told him the colors I wanted, but he chose the placement for them. From the spider web to it's little piggy vampire nose. I love every detail of this masterpiece - big and small. I'm so happy with it I pretty much haven't taken my eyes off of it. Josh is definitely an artist I'll keep in my life and continue to go back to - so much talent! If you like Traditional tattoos, do yourself a favor and check him out! You won't be disappointed.

Also talked directly to me about my piercing even when I was still a minor and thus had a parent with me who was paying lol. Placement was excellent, and they've all healed up great.

Seemed simple right?. Well...... you be the judge. Was hard to see the final result at first due to the ink runoff and the bandage. But now a month later- Bare spots/ crooked lines and poor fill. And yes I over wore the bandages and recommended care for two weeks psst their suggestion. I get it. Fingers can be hard, but it looks like shit. And now I either have to spend more money and get it fixed by somebody else or look at this for the next 10 years until it wears out. Utterly disappointed. $100 min chair. Cost me 120$. I'm not gonna throw punches at the artist because I was walk in. But being my first tat, figured it was a no brainer, but I could not recommend this place for a tattoo. Lesson learned- next time I'll use a sharpie.
